Match observations:

What a night of awesome IWA action!

In the opening bout, the new team of Demolition took
on The Rockers. The Rockers looked very hungry for a win
and were able to get one by the team of Demolition.
Shawn Michaels was lucky to score a viscious Superkick
and get the 1..2..3 for his team!

Mil Mascaras got a win over Sabu via a nasty facebuster.
sabu had the match in hand but a costly triple jump
moonsault that didn't connect proved to be costly!

The Steiner Brothers were able to hold on to their
World Tag Team Titles over the team of Sting and
Lex Luger. The Steiners are 4-0 and they are showing
no signs of stopping anytime soon! Do we have a team
here in IWA that can beat them? They destroyed
Hayabusa and Vader putting them both out with injurys!

The Hollywood Blondes get a title shot via beating
The Powers of Pain. Steve Austin his a Stunner on
The Warlord and got the win for his team.

In a number one contenders match, and a match that
everyone is still talking about, Jushin Liger
got the win over Chris Jericho. I have seen matches
before, but never have I seen a match where everything
was just insync (no pun intended)! Liger gets a title
shot at the World's Heavyweight Champion... Is it
The Undertaker, or is it The Warrior?

Falls Count Anywhere..... The Ultimate Warrior
versus The Undertaker. Two men with a nasty history
going to settle it once and for all. The Undertaker
was busted open early on in this match. These men went
all over the areana. They went into the aisles, the
parking lot, even the restrooms! In the end, it was
The Undertaker scoring the win and somehow keeping
his World Title!

Looks like next week we might have two title changes.  I think both Liger & The Hollywood Blondes have a good chance of snatching their respective division titles away, though I think Liger will have a much tougher time of it.

I think that might be the last chance for the Warrior gone for now, how many times is that now that Taker has beaten him? Liger may be a tough challenge, but I don't know, I fancy Liger to hold on. After that match though, I'd say Jericho deserved a shot down the line too.

Steiners look good too. Pity that the Demos and PoP are both 0-2 so far. Somethings got to change there.

Good card. Glad Undertaker beat Warrior (overrated roid freak), but with a running power bomb? Undertaker does a running power bomb? If it was a counter I can understand, but I've never seem him doing an actual running power bomb. He's done a high angle power bomb, but never a running one. Was it a counter?
Richard Garcia JrPosted on 06/28/04 at 07:38:20

Yeah in all honesty I was kinda sceptical as well. It was a counter to the Warrior locked over the Undertaker delivering a series of punches. The Undertaker countered and delivered a running powerbomb through a table that was centered in the ring.

Like coming out of the corner? Cause UT has done that several times to the Big Show.
Richard Garcia JrPosted on 06/28/04 at 19:19:44

Thats correct! I had a feeling that he had at least done it once before in his career! *lol*
