Match observations:

What a night, what a night. Two men are out with injurys! The
question is how long will they be out, and how does this
affect the IWA!

We witnessed a crowning of the first ever IWA World Tag
Team Champions. 8 teams went at it, only two men were
able to raise the belts after the night was over. These
two men are Rick and Scott Steiner, The Steiner Brothers.

In the opening bout, The steiner Brothers got an early
win over the also new team of The Powers of Pain. Both
teams are new to the IWA. Bobby Heenan and his so called
Heenan Family of the Powers of Pain were no match for
the Steiner Brothers.

The much anticipated team of Jushin Liger and The
Ultimate Warrior were next up as they faces The Hollywood
Blondes. To everyones suprise, Liger and Warrior got the win.

Sting and Luger took on another new team here in the IWA,
Demolition. Ax and Smash are some heavy hitters. Sting
and Luger have the experience and were able to get
the win!

Vader and Hayabusa, the team who in many peoples opinion,
are scheduled to win it all, took on The Rockers.
Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty gave it everything they
had but they were no match for another veteren team!

Semi Finals!

The Steiners beat Liger and Warrior. It shouldn't have
ended they way it did. Of course, The Undertaker made
his prescense known by showing up. He just came down to
ringside and stood in the aisle way. The Warrior spotted
him and ran after him. Liger was left all alone to take
on Rick and Scott Steiner. The Steiners were to much for
the former World Heavyweight Champion.

In a re-match from many times over, Vader and Hayabusa
took on Sting and Lex Luger. Both of these two teams
know eachother to well. We saw counter after counter.
Hayabusa and Sting had an incredible display of counter
move after counter move. The fans loved it by their
applause. In the end, Vader and Hayabusa walked away
one step closer to the Tag Team Titles!

In another suprise, something that was on everyone's
mind... Who would be The Undertaker's opponet? People
not booked tonight were Sabu, Jericho, Mascaras. Would
it be one of them? Would it be someone new? It turns out
it was Mascaras. Mascaras come out to avenge himself after
what happened in February! The Undertaker in many people's
opinion almost ended his career! Mascaras and Undertaker
showed no love loss. The Undertaker was able to get
the win.

In the finals of the IWA World Tag Team Title
tournament: The Steiner Brothers, who in their first
night in the IWA could win the Tag Team Titles took
on Vader and Hayabusa who in many opinions deserve
the tag team titles! Vader and Hayabusa gave it everything
they had. The Steiners showed no mercy however! Injurys
to both Vader and Hayabusa proved to be costly. Vader
will be out for 2 months with a hand injury, Hayabusa
will be out for 4 months with a back injury! These
injurys couldn't have come at a worse time for these
two men!

The Steiners win and are declared World Tag Team Champs!

Next month..... Never Satisfied!

The Steiners defend their newly won belts against
the team that almost made it to the finals, Sting
and Lex Luger! Can the Steiners keep their streak
alive?

The Undertaker defends his World Title against The
Ultimate Warrior in a Falls Count Anywhere Match!
In a FCA match, there are NO DQ's!

Plus: Demolition squares off against The Rockers,
and Chris Jericho takes on Jushin Liger in a
number one contenders match!

I can't believe both Vader & Hayabusa are out!  I bet the Steiners will be looking over their shoulders alot after the two get back from injury, whether Rick & Scott have the belts or not!

Which brings me to by next point, they might not after next week.  Sting & Luger make a strong team.  I'm not so sure that the newcomers are going to be able to hold them off.

Jericho vs. Liger is going to be a great match, though I fear it's all for naught.  I think 'Taker will retain the title against UW next month so no matter who wins the #1 contender match their going to be in for quite a struggle to defeat the dead man.

Yay Demolition!  Ax & Smash will surely be a dominant force as will the big Powers of Pain, even though both were eliminated in the first round.  IWA's tag division seems to be at a position where it could easily become IWA's focal point. :)

All I can say is it is going to be an awesome card. The Tag division will be one that is a definate focal point! Look for some awesome matches to develop!

Liger and Jericho will be another good one as well. Liger does want the shot at the Undertaker because in many peoples opinion he should have had another shot already because of the time limit draw. Jericho, on the other hand, wants to prove to everyone that he is the King of the World.

The Undertaker has been on a destructive path os of late. With as good as the Warrior is, I don't know if he can beat The Undertaker....
