Match observations:

Two matches.... In a cage.... 6 men.... All Hell Breaks loose!

In our opening bout, it was a very anticipated six man
tag team match as The Hollywood Blondes and Chris Jericho
took on the team of The Rockers and Mil Mascaras. Brian
Pillman was up to his usual anticts as he and the rest
of his team dressed up as Mexican Villians. The sombraro
and everything. I guess you could say they were trying
to play a set of mind games. The Rockers and Mil Mascaras
didn't wait long to get their hands on them. It was a
match that went back and forth. Mil Mascaras and Pillman
squared off and the fans really got into it. Mascaras
really did a number on Pillman. In the end it was Jericho
getting the win over Marty Jannetty via submission.

Former IWA World Heavyweight Champion, Jushin Liger, took
on Sabu. Bil Alfonso made his presence known as he did
get a couple of cheap shots in on Liger. Liger used his
ring knowledge and experience to get the win over Sabu.
Will Liger get another shot at the title soon?

In one of our double main events, Hayabusa and Vader
got the win over Sting and Lex Luger. This match was
everything we had anticipated. Luger and Sting put
up a valiant effort. Vader and Hayabusa must have
discussed stratagy before the match, because that was
the best I have ever seen a team work in a match. They
both saw that they had an upper hand when they injured
lex Lugers knee early in the match. They stayed on it,
and it was Hayabusa putting Luger in a Texas Cloverleaf,
making him eventually tap out for his team to get the win.

The Undertaker sucessfully defended his World Heavyweight
Title agianst The Ultimate Warrior. Both men gave it their
all. The Ultimate Warrior really took it to the Undertaker.
In the end it was The Undertaker scoring a viscious kick
to the head that made the Warriors head bounce off the cage.
The Undertaker was able to escape the cage and win the
match.

Wow, Hayabusa carrying Luger. Got Hayabusa's good!

I wouldn't say that necessarily. Vader and Sting were in there as well and neither of them are slouches.

6/6 on predictions.

I can't say I'm surprised by the Undertaker vs. Warrior match being a dud.  Warrior must not have had enough destrucity.  ;)

Hayabusa vs. Sting next week will be great.  Hopefully neither Vader nor Luger will interfere and we can get a clean winner.  If Hayabusa keeps this streak up, I have to believe that a title shot would be in the works.  I think Hayabusa is going to get the best of sting next month.  I think Pillman will beat Mil Mascaras as well.

I wonder who Undertaker will defend against next?  I have a feeling his title reign is going to continue for at least a couple more months.  It just doesn't seem like there is anyone built up to defeat him at the moment.  Maybe there will be a meeting of Hayabusa & 'Taker in the future?

Can't wait for the next card. :)
