Match observations:

Tables and more tables! We had scheduled only 1 tables match.
However, we saw a couple of tables used in our main event!
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new IWA World Heavyweight
Champion!!!

Brian Pillman and Mil Mascaras squared off in the opening
bout. To everyones suprise Brian Pillman came to the ring
and challanged Mascaras. In what was a very unrespectful
move, he started to throw tortillas to the crowd as he
made his way down to the ring. Mascaras come out and stood
up for the fans here in San Antonio tonight, as well as
his fans in Mexico! Mascaras ended up getting the win!

Our next match featured the hometown kid, Shawn Michaels,
as he took on Hayabusa. Both of these men are hungry young
talents! Hayabusa ended up getting the win, but Shawn
Michaels proved himself as a compedator!

The othe half of the Hollywood Blondes, Steve Austin,
took on Sting. Sting was the favorite in this match
and the odds were against Austin in the matchup. Sting
was the dominate figure in the match, but old rivalrys
can't seem to leave Sting alone. Vader and Hayabusa
came down the the ring. As Hayabusa distracted the ref
Vader his Sting in the back with a chairshot. Austin then
capitalized and got the 1..2..3!

In our tables match, Sabu took on Chris Jericho. The
momentum of the match went back and forth and Sabu
and Jericho seemed to both dominate the match. Sabu
at one point almost had the match one as he had Jericho
set up on the table. He went for a top rope moonsault
but Jericho moved out of the way. Sabu went crashing
through the table. The match continued since Jericho
himself did not put Sabu through the table. The match
ended with Jericho taking Sabu up to the top rope and
driving him through a table with a superplex!

In a triangle match for the top contenders spot,
Lex Luger, Vader, and The Ultimate Warrior took
on one another. The Warrior and Luger seemed to work
as a team against Vader. After very near pinfalls
by all three men, The Ultimate Warrior got the win.
After the match Luger stayed in the ring while his
buddy Sting come down to join him in the ring. They
issued a challange to Hayabusa and Vader next month.
The issued a tag team cage match. The only way to win
is by submission. Hayabusa and Vader accepted.

The Undertaker defeated Jushin Liger to win the World
Title. The Undertaker and Jushin Liger wrestled one
of the most incredible matches that the IWA has
ever seen. Liger standing at 5'7" really took it
to the 6'11" Undertaker. Liger did everything he
could to hold onto his title. He busted the undertaker
open, but that didn't stop him. He even tried the
Running Liger Bomb, which in many peoples opinion
proved to be costly. The Undertaker was able to
counter the move, and hook Liger into the Last
Ride and get the 1..2..3!

After the match the Undertaker told the Ultimate
Warrior that their dispute was far from over.
He told him that he wanted their match to be a
in a cage!

Next month in the IWA! IWA presents: Caged Fury!

Double Main Event!

Main Event - (Cage Match)
Vader/Hayabusa -Vs- Sting/Lex Luger

You have a very interesting mix of wrestlers here.  If you don't mind me asking, how did you choose them?

Also, since I'm re-reading Foley's autobiography ("Have a Nice Day"), I'm not surprised to see Mil Mascaras pretty much stinking up the joint every time he steps into the ring.  Foley commented a bit about that if I recall correctly.

Hey Critic of the Dawn,

I don't mind at all. In fact that was the whole reason behind it for me was to pick a bunch of wrestlers from different era's or parts of the world.

I went to the website obsessed with wrestling, which is an awesome site, and was looking at all the superstars and I just picked a set.

As far as Mil Mascaras goes, I have never reall seen him in action. The only time I have seen him wreslte was at Clash of the Champions X against Foley. That was here in my hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas. It would have been nice to see live, but my dad and I thought we could by our tickets at the door. Little did we know it was Sold Out! DARN!!!

Great card, with promise. You had an all-star lineup on it. Check out my post, 1 promotion in the works. It's 2 pages with myself & other TNM7 members voting on what my NWA All-Stars should look like in the next few weeks. Great site. Check out my post & let me know what you think of it. Any feedback would be appreciated.

That's what I love about TNM. Usually the star ratings follow the norm - good wrestlers have good matches, bad wrestlers have bad matches. But, just as in real life, occassionally some slip through the net. The Warrior and Lex Luger (along with Vader) have a reasonable match whilst Steve Austin and Sting have a dissapointing one. On the doubly plus side, that six man for the next show looks very promising...

Yes, so far I'm what, 3 for 3 on predictions? :)

In what was a very unrespectful
move, he started to throw tortillas to the crowd as he
made his way down to the ring
lmao!! *With best Peter Griffin impression* Now dat's class.

Out of curiosity: Is IWA Sting classic Sting or Crow Sting?

Predictions: Hollywood Blondes & Jericho vs. The Rockers & Mil Mascaras is a toughy, but I'm going to go with The Hollywood Blondes & Chris Jericho getting the win.  Vader & Hayabusa vs. Sting & Lex Luger, I'm definently going with Vader & Hayabusa here.  Sting & Luger have the submission finishers to get the job done, but I think Vader & Hayabusa will beat them into submission. :) Undertaker vs. Warrior I'm going with Undertaker winning in the steel cage.  After all, Warrior blows up on the entrance ramp ;)

Very cool.  I do believe that was the match Foley was referencing, too.

Oh, this is just a suggestion, so feel free to disregard it.  From your results it looks as if you've saved match endings and/or highlights.  However, if you just straight copy and paste from your HTML tree, no link to the highlight is transferred.  Therefore, I'd suggest that you remove those lines from your write up and/or spend an extra few minutes to include the actual highlights after each match.  My personal style is generally to announce the match, then to show the finish, then to give the result and rating, but you may well find that another method works better for you.  Just a suggestion for how you can make these even better.

Keep up the good work.

Liger in an amazing carry job and somehow Vader got something decent out of Warrior AND Luger. That man is amazing.

Thanks for all the comments guys! 50% of it I do because I think it is fun, and the other 50% I do to for fans of TNM. No matter good or bad the comments please keep them comming!

In answer to americamamushi's comments, my Sting is the classic Sting. The old Sting and Luger team is the one I was going for.

The old Sting and Luger team is the one I was going for.
Dudes with Attitudes if I'm not mistaken :)
