OLiver   It works fine when changing Garrison cade to Lance Cade.  Both Records show up in the Weight Class plug-in.
Tag and single ratings.

Both Lance is still a no show in the Circuit History Plug-in.

Don't know if this is something to can be fixed since in the history he is Garrison. I checked his Tag team partner's record and it shows as TNT with Garissson and Trevor.

His name doesn't even show up against the guys who he wrestled..

I check it with all, hired only and all in database.

One more thing I noticed  Lance's lost his points in the top contenders list. After running a match with Lance's new name  The weight class plug-in  gives him pts starting from zero again.. TNT his tag team had 6 pts before the name change and now has 2 after the new win..

Is there a way to have the history of a wrestler who has had his name changed, to be added together as One?

I still like the ratings editor  This is really a great add on    Thanks.

Hi Rik,

the top contenders list and the lists the Circuit History plugin generates are derived from your circuit's match results. The only remedy here would be if I made a feature to retroactively rename Garrison to Lance in all your card results. That would be the only way to do it...

Or I could program some kind of mapping feature into the two plugins where you'd enter the old and new full name and abbreviated name and it'd automatically change the name on the fly.

The problem is that to the program Lance Cade and Garrison Cade are different people and hence one's matches don't show up with the other.

Thanks,

Oliver

Thanks Oliver

That's what I thought  because it makes sense.

Well maybe another plugin -in or Add to the ratings plug-in..

But I'm real happy with this new plug-in..It's what i've been waiting for.

Thanks for help

I'll be coming up with a mapping solution of some kind.

Be advised, though, that it'll degrade performance of the WCW/CH plugins when parsing the cards.
Oliver CoppPosted on 08/28/05 at 10:45:04

I found out that doing the mapping for the Top Contender feature in the Weight Class Wizard is close to impossible at the moment because it would be a major change that needs a beta test phase of its own.

I did integrate the functionality into the Circuit History plugin for now. Please download the latest version.

Then create a file called CARDWRE.MAP in your circuit folder. Just add lines of the following syntax:

Old Name=New Name
Old Name2=New Name2

and so on.

For instance, if you used to have a wrestler called "Cactus Mick" and want his titles and matches to be counted for "Cactus Jack", you'd add the line

Cactus Mick=Cactus Jack

You can add as many lines as you wish.

Please be advised, though, that this change is experimental and may adversely affect other areas.

Heres is what i did

I made a new notepad file  and changed the name to
CARDWRE.MAP

Then i edited it with notepad

I added the line
Garrison Cade=Lance Cade

and saved it.

Oh yeah I first DL the new circuit history also and installed it,
it shows as a new version.

I put this file in my Smakdown folder which is where Lance is wrestling in.

You did mean the circuit folder not the main TNM7se folder right.

Anyway

As Garrison Cade he was Tag Team holder with John Layfield as The West Texas Rednecks.

Now when i look at his name in Circuit History Plug in

It still only shows his title with Trevor Murdock as the West Texas Rednecks.. I changed Trevor with John  before they won the title from LOD.

Should it show the title with John as well as the title with Trevor in the Circuit History?

Did i make the file right and put it in the right place?

Should ther be a space between the =
Garrison Cade=Lance Cade
Garrison Cade = Lance cade

I made it Garrison Cade=Lance Cade
Oliver CoppPosted on 08/28/05 at 22:12:41

Could you please send me your CARDWRE.MAP file? Just for checking.

Thanks,

Oliver

And yes - you put it in the right folder (the circuit folder), and there shouldn't be any spaces before/after the equals character.

Ok here goes

When I use the circuit history alone, I mean click on it as the plug in i'm using.

It shows Lance cane with his title with Joh Layfied  when he was Garrison cade...So It's working

But when i use the Circuit history when using Weight Class Pugin-in and clicking on Wrestler Records button.

It doesn't show it.

I always seem to use weight Class plug-in  then go to wrestler records.

So is why it was working...So i quess i'm saying Sorry it does work with the Circuit History Plug-in just like you said.

Ah, I see... I'll upload a new version of the Weight Class Wizard right now, and you should be fine, right :-)?

Thanks,

Oliver

Oliver

        Works great   Thanks so much

I might add  it even looks cool

Lists his single action  as  Lance Cade (as Garrison Cade) Pinned John Cena with Top Rope legdrop.

I like the way it lists it ..

Thanks again
