Match observations:

A tough return for Edge and Christian but Kidman and Corino are just glad that
they've gotten another win under their belts following last nights
dissapointment. With Edge and Christian back as a team again, they were chosen
as the next team to have a crack at Kidman and Corino and it looked like they'd
never been gone as they gelled superbly well right from the get go. However
Kidman and Corino were able to claw out a win, much to the chagrin of Edge and
Christian.

Kidman and Corino have a number of people they want to settle issues with. In
their obvious frustration at not having the world title in their camp. The man
they took those frustrations out on today was Bobby Eaton. Eaton has had his
problems in recent weeks with the IC tag champs and they confronted him after
he'd entered for his match today. Officials managed to pull Kidman and Corino
away before any damage could be done and Eaton was able to go ahead with his
match - a non title match with Chris Benoit of all people. Benoit was on a low
after failing to make it past even the first round yesterday and when Eaton
cradled up Benoit, he stayed down long enough for Eaton to score a huge upset.
Benoits reaction afterwards reflected the obvious embarassment that such a
defeat brings.

In any event, the events have brought about the main event to Badd Blood as
Billy Kidman and Steve Corino will defend their IC tag team championship
against the team of Bobby Eaton and brand new world champion Raven. Raven had
an interview today in which he spoke about how proud he is to have won the
title and promised to defend the title against ANYONE and everyone. In the mean
time though, he's got his sights set on more gold with this match at Badd
Blood coming up.

The good news that everyone wanted to hear is that this time, the Rock'n'Roll
Express ARE the tag team champions, ending the fifteen month long reign of
Pretty Perfect. Hennig and Hart argued the case to Shane McMahon today, citing
that since Morton and Gibson were suspended, they shouldn't be allowed to win
the belts, just like last time. McMahon however saw things differently,
pointing out that Pretty Perfect had issued an open challenge to ANYONE,
including to anyone not on the roster and because of that, it's their own
fault they lost the belts and will have to work their way to the top of the
ladder all over again if they want another title shot.

Worse was to come - while the Rock'n'Roll Express got in their first successful
title defense today, Curt Hennig was on the receiving end of an humiliating
loss. With Shane McMahon still at ringside following Pretty Perfects bitch-out
session, Hennig spent most of his match with La Parka yelling at Shane, and
the distraction cost him. Just as we saw with the Eaton/Benoit match, La Parka
was able to cradle Hennig over and get the upset. Following his win last night
over the former champion Hunter Hearst-Helmsley, La Parka is beginning to make
waves.

Another man angered at a loss last night is Don Muraco. After a lengthy talk
this morning, he smoothed things over with his manager Jeff Hardy after it was
Jeff who cost him the match with Raven. Hardy set up a special showcase match
today with Muraco taking on both Los Villanos in another one handicap match, of
which we have seen Muraco do a number of times. Once again, the magnificent
one was able to come out on top easily and the question is when Muraco does get
his title shot, will he be stopped this time?

Doug Furnas is a man on a mission. After his anger at not being considered for
the world title, he's out to prove himself and perhaps get him and Phil LaFon
a tag title shot down the road. Furnas looked mightily impressive today, but
he might have to have his next sights set on Edge and Christian, as well as
his former running buddy Test, though obviously things are evened up with John
Cena being in their corner as well.

Los Guerreros have spent the last week trying to prove a point to each other
by both going on a self-marketing campaign. Eddie has released a new lines of
Eddie Guerrero t-shirts whilst Chavo has written his autobiogarphy (in record
time, it would seem) entitled "Beating Kurt Angle - a heartwarming tale of a
young mans career". Sadly for the both of them, sales are low. Both blame the
other for this.

Finally a seemingly innocuous match between Jody Fleisch and Low Ki had an
added twist to it with Jonathon Coachman somehow signing himself up as a ref.
It didn't take long to see where Coach lay with this, helpig out Fleisch and
screwing Low Ki around as much as possible. Low Ki ended up knocking Coach on
his ass (and rather easily at that) before Fleisch used the distraction to
take the win. And one might wonder what Coach was up to. On the other hand,
it's Coach we're talking about - who cares?

Side note - I came up with the idea of a heel Coach well over four years ago. If anything, Vince copied me. Granted that doesn't excuse all the other angles I've ripped off, but DAMNIT, that one's mine.

Actually, Mr. Pefect was once briefly managed by a heel "Coach" John Tolos!
