Match observations:

Welcome to the first ever Pro Wrestling Riot event. Pro Wrestling Riot showcases
some of the most brutal wrestlers the world has to offer today. There's no DQ's
or countouts here in PW-Riot, and you can pin your opponent anywhere he falls.
Only the tough are going to survive in this fed. Without further ado, lets get
to the recap of the action.

In our first match, "Mad Dog" Chigusa Nagayo took on Crusher Maedomari in a hard
hitting match. Crusher looked pretty good in there, but she still couldn't take
out Nagayo who has been known to just go off and completely devastate her foes.
This match was no different, as Nagayo had to be restrained by several officials
after the conclusion of this match-up. Newly crowned PW-Riot Womens champ,
Megumi Kudo had to come down and talk her friend into calming down. All in all
an impressive yet freightening display of brutallity from Chigusa Nagayo.

Our next match saw Mike "The Gladiator" Awesome square off with "Dangan" Masato
Tanaka. Mike Awesome has a large size advantage over most wrestlers here in
PW-Riot, and Tanaka is no exception. Tanaka had a little bit of trouble taking
the big man off his feet, but once he got him there he capitalized on the
situation. Mike Awesome, however, was not going to stay down for long. He
managed to make a fierce comeback and eventually hit the Awesome Bomb on Tanaka
for the win.

"The Human Highlight Reel" and "The Human Horror Film" went at it in this next
match. Sabu teamed up with Necro Butcher, and Supreme with Super Leather. Sabu
was looking decent in the ring until Supreme stuck a fork into his calf. Which
grounded the normally acrobatic Sabu. With a lot of his most effective moves
nullified, Supreme then went to work on Sabu's forehead with the fork. Sabu did
managed to make a tag although it may have been too late. Necro Butcher did
manage to grab himself a barbed wire bat, which was too much weapon for
Supreme's fork, after a couple of vicious shots with the bat, Supreme tagged in
Super Leather. Super Leather made quick work out of Necro Butcher, stealing the
bat from him and raking it across his back, then hitting a huge power bomb ontop
of it for the win.

The Messiah said he didn't need any weapons to beat Matsunaga, and he was right.
But I am pretty sure he wishes he did bring weapons, because Matsunaga wasn't
going to fight so cleanly. They started this match with some decent mat work,
which quickly turned into straight out brawling. Matsunaga then decided that
it would be a good a time as any to bust out the bat. Matsunaga nailed Messiah
with it and tried for the pin, but only got a two count. Messiah then hit a low
blow and took the bat for his own use. He choked Matsunaga with it and then hit
the Godsmack for a win.

One of the big matches this evening saw Megumi Kudo face off against Combat
Toyota for the PW-Riot Womens Title. These two where all over each other. It was
by far the hardest fought match of the evening. These two used everything they
could find to hurt each other. Megumi Kudo on her desperation wind, was able to
hit her Kodome Driver and roll the battered Combat Toyota out of the ring and
into the spidernet for the win.

Cactus Jack is a legend in our sport, and today, against Ian Rotten, he proved
why that is. Jack was leaving nothing for the swim back, as he completely
decimated Ian Rotten and himself in the process. Jack used flaming chairs,
barbed wire, baseball bats, shards of broken glass, light tubes, and even a few
wrestling moves to beat his opponent. Finally Jack hit as staggered Rotten with
a vicious running chair shot and knocked him into the exploding death pit below.

Hayabusa and Atsushi Onita are some of the biggest names in deathmatch wrestling
in Japan. Mr. Pogo is the sickest man in the sport, and JC Bailey is his new
protoge. Bailey and Pogo proved that sometimes good does not triumph over evil.
Hayabusa who spent an unsafe amount of time in the ring with these guys, felt
pain like I have never dreamed of. Pogo started out brandishing the sickle and
chain, which he used to gouge a rather large cut in Hayabusa's arm. JC Bailey
then stepped in, with his favorite weapon, the light tube. he blasted Hayabusa
with a few, then laid numerous tubes across the back of the fallen star's head and
busted them with a hard chair shot for the cover.

Our final match pitted Abdullah The Butcher against Terry Funk. Funk came down
with a bag of thumbtacks which unfortunatly for him probably caused him more
harm than good. Abdullah used his size to get an advantage over the Funker.
When the tacks came out, Funk tried to bodyslam Abdullah into them, but he
wasn't able to lift the beast. Abdullah hit a hard forearm to the back which
sent Funk face first into the tacks. He then threw Funk into the glass in the
corner, creating a huge mess of tacks and broken glass. Abdullah pushed all of
this into a pile and slamed Funk ontop of it before hitting the Sudanese Elbow
for the pinfall.

Hope to see you next time, for the entire PW-Riot staff, I'm Carlzilla saying
have a good night.

I love feedback, so please if you want to see more japanese style garbage wrestling let me know. I love running these kinda feds, but I loose interest quick if I have no audience.

Well since you said please... ;)

That's certainly cringeworthy stuff, in the "that all sounds really painful" way. I can't say I'm familiar with the Japanese garbage style (or any other Japanese style for that matter) but it sure sounds intense. The matches were good, so I guess it must have been. I mean, a SICKLE! That's just nasty. For the record, was this booked or unbooked?
CarlzillaPosted on 06/20/04 at 00:54:15

Unbooked. I like to work with what TNM throws at me. I do however turn off no-shows.

Japanese hardcore is much more hardcore than the american stuff...I have actually seen guys put fish hooks through each others cheeks and things...pretty intense stuff.

Was the write up decent? I always am interested to hear about my presentation of the material.
91Posted on 06/20/04 at 01:06:10

Well I do a similar style of write-up, but with less detail so I'd be a huge hypocrite if I claimed not to like it. Since the basis for the federation is obviously the mad Japanese hardcore style, it's a good thing to be describing all the action from the matches in such detail like you did. Might as well make it the focal point.
