Week 20 - War Memorial - Syracuse, NY

Lucifer Magnusson pinned Trent Acid after a powerslam in 0:09:28.
Rating: **

Lucifer Magnusson walked into the War Memorial and declared his presence in RPW by stating the roster was `not to his liking' and asked for anyone to dare
step in the ring with him and prove him wrong.

RPW newcomer Trent Acid took on the challenge and unfortunately, he wasn't able to prove Magnusson wrong.

In the mean time, we should keep an eye on these two as I can sense some heat spurred from this match that will continue to flare in the weeks to come.

[World Tag Gauntlet #1]: Falls-Count-Anywhere Match:
Gangsta Heaven (Gotti and Hoffa) defeated
Afternoon Delight (Lee Awesome and Lee Handsome) when Gotti pinned Total Lee with the A Hit Is A Hit in 0:07:25.
Rating: ** 3/4
(Gangsta Heaven won the World Tag Titles.)

Gangsta Heaven has regained the RPW World Tag titles making Afternoon Delight the shortest reigning champs in the short history of RPW. But Gotti and Hoffa still need to make it through the next two rounds of action before they can walk out of Syracuse with the tag titles intact.

Teddy Diablo pinned Tony Antony after the Michinoku Driver in 0:05:32.
Rating: *** 1/2

Tony Antony announced prior to the match starting that he was withdrawing from the WarGames match later on and promised that he found someone who is more than
ready to take his place.

Teddy Diablo came down to the ring afterwards and started boasting about how he put Terry Brody out of RPW and can do the same to anyone else who gets in
his way. He then said he would start with Tony Antony and that's exactly what he did.

In the end, Diablo walked out with a victory and Antony had to rethink his decision in regards to the WarGames match.

[World Tag Gauntlet #2]: Cage Match:
Gangsta Heaven (Gotti and Hoffa) defeated
Team Xtreme (James Robinson and Lance Williams) when Hoffa pinned Robinson  with the It's Done in 0:08:57.
Rating: *** 1/2
(Gangsta Heaven retained the World Tag Titles.)

Gangsta Heaven is one match away from securing the tag titles. We all thought they may have blown the match when Gotti tossed referee Hector Ortega into the
cage knocking him out only to go for a pinning position afterwards but they obviously had a bigger plan in mind and it definitely worked.

[World Tag Gauntlet #3]: I-Quit Match:
Gangsta Heaven (Gotti and Hoffa) defeated Ben Tuckwell and Jonathan Smith when Hoffa made Smith submit to a figure-four leglock in 0:15:02.
Rating: ***
(Gangsta Heaven retained the World Tag Titles.)

Gangsta Heaven has done it. They ran the gauntlet and came out the other side with the titles still in their possession. What a feat! They certainly deserve to call themselves the champs after this match.

[WARGAMES!!!!]: War Games No-Countout-No-DQ-Match:
The Hatebreed (Hate, Jack Ripper, Lark Fenriz and Travis LaGrange) defeated The
Paladins (Justin Kell, Trevor Rodgers and Werewolf Gregorson) and Steve Austin
when Fenriz made Kell submit to the Sammael in 0:26:54.
Rating: *** 3/4

Woah! Lark Fenriz and Justin Kell started this match out and since Kell's team won the coin toss, they got to put a man in first after the 5 min time period ended. When the buzzer went off, we heard that infamous crashing glass and Stone Cold Steve Austin rushed to the ring to take Tony Antony's place and he went straight after Lark Fenriz. 21 minutes later, it was Fenriz and Kell who
would decide the match as Kell fell victim to the Sammael by Lark Fenriz.

BIG victory for The Hatebreed.

Card rating: *** 1/2

Match observations:

Well, it's been a few hours since WarGames ended and alot has fallen out as a result.

First off, Trevor Rodgers has decided to retire due to an injury he sustained during the match. We wish T-Rod lots of luck. This opens a hole in The Paladins which from my standpoint, I am going with the likely choice of Steve Austin to take his place.

Also, Justin Kell will be taking the week off to recover from his loss to  Fenriz in the WarGames match

Speaking of Lark Fenriz, he has issued a challenge to face Gregorson for the World Title so we will see that match next week.

In other action, we will see:

Trent Acid vs Magnusson - the rematch in a barbed wire match

In the strangest happening, Tony Antony has announced that he and Teddy Diablo are forming a team and will face Justin Kell and Steve Austin in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Antony said that he gained some respect for Diablo after he lost to him earlier in the evening and he wants to test him by having them face two of Antony's teammates.

And Gangsta Heaven will face Afternoon Delight a rematch but it will NOT be for the titles.

UPDATE - Kell has agreed to tag with Austin to face Antony and Diablo. He says he refuses to allow Fenriz keep him down.

Geeze man, two of the top RPW workers are gone. Cade and Rodgers both leave and Kell's all that's left. But hey, maybe Kell and Austin can form the bald man express.;)
