Week 18 - Jillian's - Farmingdale, NY

Falls-Count-Anywhere Match:
Justin Kell pinned Lark Fenriz with the Delirium Trigger in 0:11:41.
Rating: ***

Kell got himself a victory and Fenriz tried to attack Kell after the match was
over but Travis Cade came down to save him and then announced that he and Kell
are the first two members of their WarGames team.

We'll have to see who the other 2 are as well as who will come forward on the
other team.

Number-One-Contenders-Four Corners Match:
Afternoon Delight (Lee Awesome and Lee Handsome) defeated
Gangsta Heaven (Gotti and Hoffa), Jonathan Smith and Ben Tuckwell and
The Paladins (Tony Antony and Travis Cade):
x Handsome beat Cade via a figure-four leglock in 0:14:20
x Smith beat Gotti via a back suplex in 0:21:03
x Total Lee beat Smith via an elbowdrop from the second turnbuckle in
          0:27:41
Rating: *** 3/4

The fans were in awe during this match. All four teams fought very hard to try
and walk out with a shot at the tag titles but in the end, it came down to
Afternoon Delight and the team of Tuckwell & Smith who still feel they deserve
another chance at the title. They will just have to wait because Afternoon
Delight walked out with the victory and a shot to get a hold of the tag titles
that they've been close to on several occasions.

Trevor Rodgers pinned Jack Ripper after a frog splash in 0:09:35.
Rating: ****

Somehow the lack of the World title around his waist is like kryptonite to
Jack Ripper because he lost yet another match to another member of The Paladins.

Ripper is going to have to dig deep to get back to the level he was once at whenhe was the RPW World champ.

Card rating: ****

Match observations:

The World Tag match was declared a no contest when referee Hector Ortega got tired of dealing with the antics of Cardinal Synn and Marty Lyons at ringside
along with both teams manhandling the ref throughout the match.

Also during the evening, we saw Diablo & Brody brawl. RPW management is still trying to figure out what to do with these two men.

In MAJOR news - Gregorson has challenged Jack Ripper to face him next week in an IRON MAN SUBMISSION ONLY match for the RPW World title.

And now the WarGames update - Travis Cade and Justin Kell have formed a team and are in the midst of getting two more members. I'm sure The Hatebreed will
be looking to form a team as well to battle The Paladins.

Interesting news in regards to WarGames.  And the RPW Title match should rule next week.

Only 4 matches on the card?  Wow!  Wait until you get to the second half of year one.  ;)
