Week 14 - Viking Hall - Philly, PA

First Blood Match:
Anger defeated James Robinson in 0:02:30.
Rating: ***

I smell something fishy. It doesn't take a blind man to see that Robinson threw the match early in order to prevent further injury knowing that he would have
to defend the tag titles later in the evening.

Ben Tuckwell and Jonathan Smith defeated Gangsta Heaven (Gotti and Hoffa) when
Smith pinned Gotti with the Finding Yahweh in 0:03:19.
Rating: ***

Tuckwell & Smith earned themselves a spot at the head of the rankings by defeating the former world tag champs. I'm sure Tuckwell & Smith will be demanding a chance at the World Tag titles real soon.

Travis Cade defeated Lark Fenriz by disqualification in 0:10:42.
Rating: ***

The Philly police were surrounding the ring to make sure that no member of The Hatebreed or The Paladins rushed to the ring to try and interfere in this match. It was an interesting ending as Fenriz was DQ-ed rather than be embarassed by
having to tap out to Cade's finisher, CavalCade 2.0 which Fenriz was locked in at the time of the ending bell.

Justin Kell defeated Teddy Diablo by disqualification in 0:05:59.
Rating: ** 1/4

For the second match in a row, a member of The Paladins scored a win via DQ because their opponent decided to toss the referee out of action.

Texas Death Match:
Terry Brody pinned Travis LaGrange after a power bomb in 0:11:36.
Rating: **** 1/4

The battle of the two Texans ended with Terry Brody earning his first win since the series between him and Diablo ended last week.

[World Tag Defense]: Ladder Match:
Team Xtreme (James Robinson and Lance Williams) defeated
Afternoon Delight (Lee Awesome and Lee Handsome) in 0:11:13.
Rating: *** 1/4
(Team Xtreme retained the World Tag Titles.)

This was an "Xtremely" close match that could have gone either way. James and Lance will be rallying to make sure that Awesome and Handsome don't come anywhere near their tag titles for a long time.

In the mean time, they have to worry about Ben Tuckwell and Jonathan Smith waiting in the wings to try and take the titles from them in the weeks to come.

Card rating: *** 1/4

Match observations:

After the main event, Werewolf Gregorson came out and issued a challenge for
Jack Ripper to face him in a cage match next week for the World Title. He says the cage is to keep any and all from trying to stick their nose in the affairs of the World title.

hehe... throwing a first blood match.  :)

Team Xtreme's win on #13 was certainly a surprise.  Glad to see they kept them here this week.

And a CAGE match for the Title next week!  Awesome. Can Ripper retain?
