Snabbit888Posted on 04/21/04 at 09:33:15

MAIN EVENT
30-man Deadly Draw Match
Winner becomes the first World Heavyweight champion
Entrants: AJ Styles, Billy Kidman, Brock Lesnar, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Christopher Daniels, Christopher Nowinski, Eddie Guerrero, Elix Skipper, Goldust, Hardcore Holly, John Cena, Justin Credible, Kurt Angle (Entrant #1), Lance Storm, Matt Hardy, Paul London, Perry Saturn, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio Jr., Rob Van Dam, Sean O'Haire, Shannon Moore, Shark Boy, Shawn Michaels (Entrant #30), Teddy Hart, The Hurricane, Tommy Dreamer, and one entrant not to be revealed until Deadly Draw

Thirty men... one World Heavyweight championship.  In a match like this, a man can make a name for himself in the blink of an eye.  To be able to win a 30-man Deadly Draw, it'll take hard work, stamina, intestinal fortitude, and a whole lot of luck.  Shawn Michaels has greatly improved his chances in winning by earning the dream draw of number 30.  But will that be enough for him to outlast 29 other superstars?  Regardless, one thing we do know is someone is walking out of here as the first World Heavyweight champion.
PREDICTION:

North American Title Tournament Final
John Cena vs. Hardcore Holly

It hasn't been an easy path to the finals for either of these men.  Cena's road consisted of squeaking past Sean O'Haire in the first round, and getting the better of Perry Saturn in the semi-finals.  Hardcore Holly made it to this position by scoring what many would call an upset over Booker T in the first round and earning an impressive win over Lance Storm in the semis.  Now these two will meet in what should prove to be a hard-hitting matchup, the winner walking away the North American champion.  But who wants it more?
PREDICTION:

World Tag Team Title Match
The World's Greatest Tag Team (c) vs. Nick Dinsmore/Rob Conway

This will be the World's Greatest Tag Team's first official title defense since the duo beat Nick Dinsmore and Rob Conway in the finals of the World Tag Team Title Tournament a few weeks back.  Dinsmore and Conway earned their rematch by winning a Four-Corners Match making them the #1 contenders.  However, with offers of a future title shot, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas coaxed the Basham Brothers and Shaniqua to put a hurting on Dinsmore and Conway last week on Explosion.  What kind of condition will the challengers be in for this match, and will they be able to overcome it to take the gold?
PREDICTION:

Brock Lesnar vs. Goldust

Since Brock Lesnar arrived in Global Championship Wrestling, nobody has been able to stop him.  In his first match, he severely injured Booker T's left knee by F-5'ing him into the ringpost not once, but twice.  The next week, Lesnar planned to do the same to Tommy Dreamer, but Goldust made his first GCW appearance out of nowhere, saving Dreamer from the onslaught.  Goldust is an old friend of Booker's, and has his eyes on redemption against Lesnar.  Will Goldust be able to avenge his friend, or will Brock have another victim?
PREDICTION:

Cruiserweight Title Tournament Final
The Amazing Red vs. Low-Ki

How the Amazing Red has made it this far is beyond me.  After defeating AJ Styles in the first round, Styles brutally attacked Red, hurting his knee.  Red continued to fight on, getting past Chavo Guerrero Jr. in the semi-finals, but not before suffering another attack from Styles.  Low-Ki's path to the finals included an impressive victory over Shark Boy in round one, and with the aid of his Triple X stablemates and manager Daffney (not to mention a pair of brass knuckles), defeated Rey Mysterio Jr. in the semi-finals.  Low-Ki has the momentum going in, earning a clean pinfall victory over Red last week on Explosion in a tag team contest.  Red has shown that he won't back down, but he may be looking over his shoulder for AJ Styles.
PREDICTION:

Teddy Hart vs. Matt Hardy Version 1.0

This match was added after two weeks ago, Hardy, upset with his loss to Lance Storm in the North American Title Tournament, took out his frustrations on Teddy Hart, leaving him unconscious before Hart's scheduled match with The Hurricane.  Hart wasn't going to take this lying down, as he and Hardy got into it during the Television Title battle royal.  These two will look to settle the score at Deadly Draw.

PREDICTION: Cena easily.

World Tag Team Title Match
The World's Greatest Tag Team (c) vs. Nick Dinsmore/Rob Conway

PREDICTION: No way that the WGTT loses the titles this quickly.

Brock Lesnar vs. Goldust

PREDICTION: Since Lesnar is going to be the monster of your fed, I can't see him losing yet. Lesnar.

Cruiserweight Title Tournament Final
The Amazing Red vs. Low-Ki

PREDICTION: Red with the big upset. He's been getting beaten up way too much lately.

Teddy Hart vs. Matt Hardy Version 1.0

PREDICTION: Hardy hasn't been doing much as of late, so I can't see him winning here. Besides, there might be some sort of tantrum angle going on.
