Error message

Dragon_XPosted on 08/20/05 at 02:00:23

I was trying to run a match between Matt Hardy and Edge and I got the following error right after the intros:

Error occurred on 08-19-2005 at 19:16:18.
Error Code:  5
Line of code:  339615
Match: Matt Hardy vs Edge

I was running in e-mail mode, with only one wrestler actually hired.  I tried the match a total of three times, each time ending with an error after the intros.  TNM7 stated that it ws a "core dump".

I decided to hire the other wrestler and switched off the e-mail mode.  This time the match went through without any problems.

So the question is: In e-mail mode, can you not use hired and unhired wrestlers in the same match?  Or is this TNM7's way of simulating real life and refusing to let these two wrestle each other without Vinnie Mac having both under contract?

Thanks,

Phil (long time player, about fourth time poster)

have you tried running tnm7diag to see if your database is corrupt? (which can be found on the main site)

Phil --- something went wrong. If this ever happens again, please send me your TNM.

BTW, I seem to recognize this bug from way back. You might want to give the Build 4 Beta a try.

Oliver,
I have build 4 installed and it's working great. I even attempted to recreate the error in e-mail mode and the match ran perfectly. ;D

I did run the TNM7Diag and it runs fine until it starts checking the circuits.  It states that it is checking the first circuit and then it stops.  I don't know if this is a problem or not, as everything else appears to be working correctly.

PS: Thanks for the rapid response.

Phil

It would be best to get your TNM to me ASAP. I'll need to check your circuit to prevent something bad from happening down the line :)
