Terry Funk and Sting defeated The Players (King Kong Bundy and Paul Orndorff) when Sting pinned Orndorff with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:22:21.

Funk and Sting got the win and early on it looked as if they were on the same page, but that went out the window when Funk decided he'd rather brawl than wrestle.  The end of the match saw Funk and Bundy brawl off through the crowd while Sting worked over Orndorff on the floor leading to the Scorpion Death Drop in the ring.

Tonight on the card, we have the battle of the Thrillseekers as Chris Jericho takes on Lance Storm.  In tag team action, Cactus Jack and BCW Champion La Parka do battle with nWo presents: Kevin Nash and Syxx.  For the #1 contender spot, Arn Anderson faces Chris Benoit.  Rick Martel and Joey Matthews go toe to toe with The Dudleyville Express.  nWo presents: Sid Vicious as he's sees singles action against D-Von Dudley.  Dawn Marie's team of Steve Williams and Scott Norton have their debut match against Supply and Demand.  And in the main event, the BCW Tag Team Champions Kurt Angle and Ken Shamrock defend against #1 contenders Ultimo Dragon and Lizmark.

Earl Hebner made the save for James Beard in this one as he counted down the shoulders of Lance Storm for the three.  Also Adam Flash made his presence known as he tried to interfere against Lance Storm in this match.

As Benoit was complaining about what he felt was a slow count to Earl Hebner, Arn Anderson was able to roll him up in an inside cradle for the win.  Benoit was even more irate after the match and couldn't believe that he lost.  One has to wonder exactly what wrestler Benoit will call upon to be his tag team partner in two weeks at the big tag team tournament.

In what is already being called the match of the year in BCW's tag team division, Lizmark and Ultimo Dragon ended the longest title reign in BCW's history here tonight.  Shamrock and Angle had held the titles since defeating Ultimo Dragon and Adam Flash back on Card #32.

The only way these two teams can meet in the tournament in two weeks is meet each other in the finals as they are the top two seeds in the tournament!

Double A is going after La Parka's title?  That should be quite interesting, to say the least.  La Parka is going over, I think.  Anderson's good, but he hasn't been in BCW for long...  then again, Cactus Jack picked up the title shortly after joining the roster, so anything's possible.

Wow.  Angle and Shamrock lost!  That was unexpected.  As great as they are as a tandem, I suggest you split them in the near future.  They're good enough that they could be wonderful in the singles division.  Dragon and Lizmark should be interesting champs, although I must confess I picture Lizmark as nothing more than a generic Lunchadore in a green mask.  ;D

Great stuff with the local used car lot sponsoring your Tag Team tourney.  I'm looking forward to seeing who wins those almost new cars!
