Notes: Masato Tanaka's "COMPLETE PLAYERS" promotion made its successful debut as an actual promotion. The debut show drew a legit crowd of 2,100 people who showed up to view Tanaka's type of pro-wrestling.

Before the show, all of the members of the roster appeared in front of the crowd, and many wrestlers spoke to the fans; expression their hopes for "C*P". Masato Tanaka spoke last, and surprisingly unlike the others who spoke, Tanaka put on a real heel performance, and even went as far as to say that everyone in the ring should be appreciative to be apart of the company. ,This upset Tomoaki Honma, who questioned Tanaka's attitude. "Pro-Wrestling is universal!" Honma screamed at Tanaka, "If that is your attitude, then I'll show you mine, tonight!"

The show move forward, and the crowd saw a unique blend of different styles as seen in the second match as BATTLARTS sent two of its best wrestlers. "C*P" is expected to continue its relationship with BATTLARTS, as well as other companies in Japan.

A new feud seems to be born, as Daisuke Ikeda engaged with Dick Togo in aspirited fight. However, when Togo saw the tide of the match turning against his favor, he got himself DQ'd for referee violence. Ikeda was livid, and demanded a restart, but Togo refused.

Finally, the fans were given a spectacular main event to close the show. As it was hinted at in the opening MC, much of the focus was on Honma and Tanaka, who targeted each other through out the match. The match seemed much like a throw back to the old school FMW street fight style, which the fans enjoyed very much. Honma took an incredible ammount of punishment before succombing to Tanaka's Rolling Elbow. The Complete Players beat Honma down after the match, and bloodied Honma up with chair shots. Backstage, Honma spoke only few words, but hinted at creating a Revolt unit to fight Tanaka, Gedo and Jado.

Masao Inoue also looked very good in the match, and fits in very well with the violent style of C*P. He even got into the face of Tanaka, and placed him in the Argentine Backbreaker! After taking a Fire Thunder onto a chair, Honma finished Jado off with a Diving Headbutt, and won the match. Afterwards, Honma demanded a singles match with Tanaka, but Tanaka declined.

5. Tomoaki Honma met Akitoshi Saito in the first round of the tournament in a much anticipated match. Honma got blasted with Saito's stiff kicks earlyone, but Honma fought back with his elbows, and almost had the win with his Crazy Elbow, but Masato Tanaka intruded and forced a DQ! Tanaka and Saito both attacked Honma, hinting that Saito would become a member of Tanaka's COMPLETE PLAYERS unit.

6. The fans were given a decent throwback to the old FMW style in the match between Hideki Hosaka and Kintaro Kanemura. Hosaka scored an upset in beating Kanemura.

7. In the final match of the first round, Masato Tanaka and Tetsuhiro Kuroda put one an awesome match that lasted over 20 minutes! Honma came to the ring during the match, but never interfered. Kuroda had several nearfalls over Tanaka, but Tanaka amazingly continued to fight. Tanaka's new attitude showed its face in the match, as Tanaka ducked Kuroda's Lariat, and blantantly kicked Kuroda in the groin, which led to the Diamond Dust!

After the match, Honma confronted Tanaka, and said that since Tanaka kept ducking his challenges, he would meet him in the finals of the tournament. Tanaka didn't respond, but instead signaled for Jado, Gedo and Akitoshi Saito to attack Honma from behind. The fans exploded as Tetsuhiro Kuroda came to Honma's aid, and helped fight the Complete Players off! Honma shook hands with Kuroda, who invited Kuroda to join his "REVOLT" Movement. Kuroda shook his head and said that he would have to think about it.

Post Show Notes: Tomoaki Honma confirmed that his new unit would be called "REVOLT", and would attempt to overthrow the power the Complete Players hold over the promotion. Honma said that he always looked up to Tanaka, and doesn't understand Tanaka's attitude. Honma said that he is targeting Kuroda, Masao Inoue and Hideki Hosaka as potential members for his unit.

The only confirmed matches for the next convention are the semi finals of the MAXIMUM Heavyweight title tournament.

Card Rating: ***1/4

Show Notes:

1. A relatively short opener. Yuasa scored a rare win over the Michinoku Pro representative.

4. The match was originally scheduled to be a tag with Kanemura, but because of the problems between he and Kuroda, he deserted Kuroda and no-showed for the match, leaving Kuroda to fight by himself. Despite the odds, Kuroda still managed to win, and lashed out at Kanemura after the match, calling him a traitor for turning his back. Kuroda said that he is considering joining Honma's unit if Kanemura doesn't change his attitude.

5. The feud between Daisuke Ikeda and Dick Togo continued to head up, as the two had their first singles confrontation since the first convention. Both wrestlers put on a fantastic match, which is rare in the No DQ match setting. Ikeda came to the ring in tradition street fight attire; camo pants and a ripped shirt as Togo came to the ring in his normal black trunks and boots. Ikeda bled early on, after taking a Piledriver tom the apron onto a pile of chairs on the ground, but returned the favor to Togo, after slicing him open with a nail! The crowd seemed stunned at Ikeda's "possessed" behaivor. Togo still managed to get the ring, after delivering a Flying Senton through a table. Ikeda said that the war was not over.

6. In the first full-on confrontion between REVOLT and the Complete Players, Tomoaki Honma led his team to victory over Complete Players. However, Honma seemed to suffer some sort of Injury to his arm during the match. Honma had to be assisted out of the ring and to the back. Despite the injury, all six men put on an excellent match that got the crowd fired up.

7. Masato Tanaka becomes the 1st MAXIMUM Heavyweight champion. Sekimoto took a commanding lead in the match early on, and blasted Tanaka with stiff elbows. This only seem to aggrevate Tanaka, who threw his own elbows. Both wrestlers brought the match down a bit as they exchanged positions on the mat. Sekimoto really impressed the crowd with his skills, and the crowd got behind him as the underdog. Sekimoto kicked out of almost every move Tanaka used, but after a fourth Rolling Elbow, Sekimoto could not kick out.

After the match, Tanaka and the rest of the Complete Players celebrated in the ring over Sekimoto's body. The Complete Players soon turned their attention on Sekimoto, and began attacking him. Tomoaki Honma came down to the ring with his arm in a sling and a microphone, and called Tanaka a coward without honor for attacking Sekimoto. Tanaka got on the microphone and called Honma "soft", and told him to go home and lick his wounds. Honma tried to get into the ring to fight, but was quickly outnumbered. The rest of REVOLT charged the ring, and began fighting, but they were also man handled. Daisuke Sekimoto finally got to his feet, and caught Tanaka with a Lariat! He quickly ducked Saito's Sickle of Death, and caught him with a Rolling Elbow. The Complete Players finally ran off, leaving Sekimoto in the ring with REVOLT. Honma announced that he had suffered a torn bicep, and would be out of action for a while. He asked that Sekimoto step in and join REVOLT as their leader. After consideration, Sekimoto accepted and shook hands with all members of REVOLT.

Post Show Notes: The prognosis for Tomoaki Honma looks like he will be out for two months with
a torn bicep. Sekimoto will take his place as the leader of REVOLT, and will
lead the war against Masato Tanaka and the Complete Players.

The main event of the next convention will be a Six man Captain's Fall elimination match pitting REVOLT against the Complete Players. The stipulation being that if REVOLT wins, a REVOLT member will face Tanaka in a MAXIMUM Heavyweight title match. However, if the Complete Players win, Tanaka will be allowed to hand pick his V1 challenger.

After the show, Masato Tanaka announced that the promotion would now be called "Maximum Pro-Wrestling".

That set up the Death Valley Bomb for the finish. After the match, a humbled Togo shook hands with Ikeda.

After the match, Sekimoto got on the microphone, and emotionally announced his resignation as the leader of REVOLT... HOWEVER, he introduced none other than TOMOAKI HONMA! The Korakuen crowd exploded in cheers as Honma came towards the ring, staring a hole through Masato Tanaka's eyes.

Honma: "You thought you got rid of me, Eh Tanaka? Well, I'm back! You should have known that it would take more than a small injury to keep me from fighting you! You still owe me our match... and I've come to collect! ... Tanaka... next month, at Korakuen, you and I... IN THE EXPLOSION DEATH MATCH!"

The crowd exploded in surprise as Tanaka looked very surprised as well. Tanaka boldly accepted the match, and promised to permanatly take Honma out of wrestling.

Post Show Notes: Maximum Pro-Wrestling held a post show press conference after the show, and announced that the company would bring in some new wrestlers to fill out its roster. Management Director Komura said he was excited with having Mammoth Sasaki in the company, and expects him to lead the Youth Movement in MPW.

MPW will run possibly its biggest show next month. The main event will see Tomoaki Honma return to MPW to face his enemy Masato Tanaka in a Exploding Cage deathmatch for the MAXIMUM Heavyweight title!

Show Notes:

1. MIKAMI made a successul debut for Maximum Pro-Wrestling, as he met his former DDT ally GENTARO. The two put on an excellent 12 minute sprint that saw both fly around the ring, and risking their body with big spots.

2. Yuasa was easily over powered by Yaguchi, who wore Yuasa down with brawling, before putting him away with a Big Splash.

8. Finally, the single most anticipated match in Maximum Pro-Wrestling history is here! The crowd was hushed as the lights faded, but erupted as Tomoaki Honma's new theme song played over the speakers. Tanaka received just as big of a reaction as Honma, only with some boos mixed in. The electrified exploding cage was lowered down and the match officially began. Early on, the two exchanged holds, but took every change to try and drive the other into the barbedwire cage. The first big cage bump came as Tanaka threw Honma over the
ropes to try and drive him into the cage, but Honma hanged on to the ropes. Tanaka clobbered him with punches before climbing to the top rope, and caught Honma in the back of the head with a Diving Guillotine! The whip lash effect caused Honma to back right into the exploding cage as it burnt the flesh on Honma's back! Honma returned the favor later on, as he drove Tanaka FACE FIRST into the barbedwire cage, after hoisting him above his shoulder, and threw him into the cage! The clock was running down until the big explosion so both sprinted, and tried to beat the other as quickly as possible. However, the clock finally reached 20:00 and a loud siren sounded, before... *BOOM!* The ring flashes with an explosion as the crowd gasps. As the smoke clears, Tanaka, Honma AND the referee are shown laid out on the mat. Honma was amazingly the first to his feet, and hoisted Tanaka over his shoulder, before dropping him on head his with the Fire Thunder, and scored the pinfall, and we have a NEW MAXIMUM Heavyweight champion!
