Results of Monday Night Mayhem 9/9/03:

[Dark Match]:
Colt Cabana pinned Altar Boy Luke with the Colt 45 in 0:07:38.
Rating: **** 1/4

[Dark Match]:
Orlando Jordan pinned Zach Gowen with the Shoulder Jawbreaker in 0:15:27.
Rating: * 1/2

Billy Kidman pinned Spanky with the Shooting Star Press in 0:12:52.
Rating: ** 1/4

Great opening bout from two of the CWF's most exciting stars.  These
two have met before, but this time a shot at the World Television
Title was on the line.  Kidman comes away with the win.

Batista pinned Rhyno with the Sitout Power Bomb in 0:07:46.
Rating: * 1/2

For several weeks, Ric Flair caused havoc for Batista, for letting
Ric Flair go as his manager.  Flair finally convinced Batista to take
him back, and let him show Batista, that he can lead him to a title,
just like he has done for Randy Orton.  Flair was a major factor in
the match, distracting Rhyno several times, enabling Batista
to take advantage, and hit the Sitout Powerbomb on the floor!!  Batista
would roll Rhyno back in, hit the powebomb again, and take a huge
win over Rhyno.  This could be the start of something big for Batista,
now that he has Flair back as his manager.

Danny Doring and Roadkill defeated The Pitbulls when Roadkill pinned Pitbull 1
with the Dirt Rode Slam in 0:11:26.
Rating: ** 3/4

Doring and Roadkill make a nice CWF debut, with a huge win over The
Pitbulls.

Eddie Guerrero defeated Perry Saturn when Perry Saturn passed out in the
Lasso From El Paso in 0:06:45.
Rating: *** 3/4
(Eddie Guerrero won the CWF World Television Title.)

These two have put on several great matches over the past month, but
they needed one more to settle the feud.  This match didnt dissapoint.
Saturn had things going his way, until he got knocked out cold, out
of the ring, and Guerrero took advantage, by rolling him back in,
and locking on the Lass from El Passo, to capture the CWF World TV Title.

Interview:
Justin Credible challenges Booker T!

Justin Credible comes down, and says he is angry that when the CWF
World Title was vacated, instead of handing it back to him, they
held a tournament for it.  He wants his title back!

Booker T comes out, and answers the challenge...but he will have to wait
a few weeks for the Highway To Hell PPV!!

Justin accepts, but then attacks the champ, as he was about to leave,
with the Singapore Cane, and nails That's Incredible on the title belt!

Chris Benoit pinned Raven after a figure-four leglock in 0:02:22.
Rating: **

Both men are trying to work their way into World Title contention, and
this was a surprisingly short match, with Benoit taking the win.

Lords Of The Ring defeated Sabu and Rob Van Dam when N. Dinsmore pinned RVD
with the German Suplex in 0:21:41.
Rating: *** 3/4
(Lords Of The Ring retained the CWF World Tag Team Titles.)

RVD and Sabu teamed up for the first time in the CWF, in an effort
to capture the World Tag Titles, from the young team of Dinsmore and
Conway.  The Lords really held their own, and the two teams put on a
helluva a match.  RVD almost won the titles for his team, when he hit
the Five Star Frog Splash on Dinsmore, but Conway broke it up, and
Dinsmore quickly planted RVD with a German Suplex for the upset win!!
Dont be surprised to see these two teams hook it up again.

Match with Managers Banned From Ringside:
Brock Lesnar pinned Randy Orton with the F-5 in 0:03:32.
Rating: * 1/4
(Brock Lesnar won the CWF North American Title.)

Twice, Ric Flair cost Brock Lesnar the North American Title against
Randy Orton.  Finally, Commissioner, Ricky Steamboat, set up a rematch,
with Flair barred from ringside, and it didnt take long for Lesnar
to seal the win, and become the new CWF North American Champion!!

Card rating: ** 1/2

Match observations:

Pretty solid show.  We saw the main event for the next ppv set, as
Justin Credible will challenge new CWF World Champion, Booker T,
for the title, in an effort to become a Two Time World Champ.  Saturn
and Guerrero finally ended their feud, with Guerrero coming out on top,
and taking home the TV Title.  But Saturn's stock really shot through
the roof with this feud, and the tremendous matches he put on.  The
Lord of the Ring surprised everyone when they won the Tag Team titles,
but they proved it was no fluke, as they successfully, defend the titles,
against the team of RVD and Sabu.  Finally, Brock Lesnar was able
to get a fair, one on one match with Randy Orton, and he taught Orton
a lesson, and wins the North American Title in under 4 minutes.  Lesnar
will be tough to beat!

Results of Meltdown 9/12/03:

[Dark Match]:
Altar Boy Luke pinned The Hurricane with the Holy Driver in 0:14:25.
Rating: ***

Altar Boy Luke, a recent signee, has wrestled two matches in the CWF,
and they have both been fantastic.  It shouldnt be long before he is
on TV.

[Dark Match]:
Seven and Travis Bane defeated Mexico's Most Wanted when Seven pinned Halloween
with the Sinner Shot in 0:14:21.
Rating: ** 1/4

Shannon Moore pinned Tajiri with the Halo in 0:13:03.
Rating: ** 1/4

Nunzio pinned Chavo Guerrero Jr. with the Arrividerci in 0:14:57.
Rating: ** 3/4

Pretty impressive match.  If they can keep this up, they may find
themselves in higher profile matches.

The Dudley Boys defeated The Thrillseekers when D-Von pinned L. Storm after the
Dudley Death Drop in 0:09:29.
Rating: ** 1/2

Rob Conway pinned Sabu with the Neckbreaker in 0:05:41.
Rating: **** 1/4

These two were on opposite sides of a great tag title match this past
monday, and now they put on a fantastic singles match, with Conway
pulling the upset over Sabu.  The Lords of the Ring are the real deal!

Booker T pinned Shane Douglas with the Scissor Kick in 0:06:34.
Rating: *** 1/4

Justin Credible came out during the match, and attacked the World Champ.
But it didnt matter, as Booker shows why he is the World Champ, and
recovers to get the win over THe Franchise.

The Basham Brothers defeated Danny Doring and Roadkill when Doug Basham pinned
Doring with the Leg Lariat in 0:01:44.
Rating: **

Doring and Roadkill had an impressive debut win over The Pitbulls
on Monday, but this match was less than impressive, as they lose
to the Basham's in under two minutes.

John Cena pinned The Rock with the F-U in 0:16:48.
Rating: *** 1/4

John Cena wanted to make a name for himself in the CWF, and he wanted to
do it by beating The Rock.  And the two put on arguably, the best match
of the show so far, with The Rock getting busted open, and Cena being
planted through a table with THe Rock Bottom.  In the end, Cena
pulled it off the upset of The Rock, though we are suspicious of Nick
Patrick's count, as The Rock  complained of it being a fast count.
After the match, The Rock looked like he was going to show some
sportsmanship, and shake Cena's hand, instead, he nailed him with
the Rock Bottom, to the approval of the fans.

No-Time-Limit-I-Quit Match:
Kurt Angle made Mike Awesome submit to the Ankle Lock in 0:24:49.
Rating: *** 1/2

This feud started about a month ago, when Awesome was embarrassed by
Angle, who made Awesome pass out in the Ankle Lock. In an effort
to prove he is the toughest man in the CWF, and salvage that big loss,
he has went after Angle, over several weeks, with brutal attacks.
Finally, he challenges Angle to this I quit match, and he was once again
embarrassed, by Angle, who made him submit to the Ankle Lock!

Card rating: ***

Match observations:

One of the CWF's best televised shows to date.  We saw the end of one
feud, but the start of a another possible great feud, between The Rock
and John Cena.
