UNIVERSO FUTORU LUCHA-LIBRE Debut show on Galavision TV Recap
Location Arena Mexico
Date: 06/02/2003
Attendance: 9,000 (Sellout)

Alberto Ortega opens the show as he stands outside of Arena Mexico. He welcomes everyone to the show, and quickly runs down the card. He also talks about the importance UFLL plays in the GWUF world, as they are representing the region of Mexico. Alberto then talks about Crippler Del Canadiense, otherwise known as Chris Benoit in the United States and Canada. While he talks, they show muted clips of Benoit speaking at the UFLL Press conference yesterday. Dr. Wagner Jr attacks Benoit from behind, which Alberto mentions, adds a lot of drama to their one on one match tonight. He quickly moves onto the next subject, being tonight's first match between the American phenom AJ Styles and Black Warrior taking on the legendary father-son team of Juventud Guerrera and his father, Fuerza Guerrera. He then introduces the following segment...

A vignette plays next showing Juventud Guerrera staring at a promotional poster of tonight's show. The poster bills Styles as "INCREDIBLE", which Juventud scoffs at. Fuerza walks in and barks at Juventud to get ready for their match. Guerrera pays no attention and says that he should be the one who everyone is calling "Incredible". Fuerza basically tells Juvy to quit his whining, and prove it in the ring. Juventud scoffs again before both walk out.

1. AJ Styles & Black Warrior vs. Juventud Guerrera & Fuerza Guerrera (***1/2)
* 1st fall: All kinds of dickiness from the rudos, especially between Juventud and Styles. Juventud hits a Flying Senton on Styles as Fuerza locks on a modified armbar for the dual pinfall/submission. Time of fall: 9:28
* 2nd fall: The technicos make a surprising comeback. This fall involved a lot of brawling between both teams, but after hitting a Powerbomb, Black Warrior uses the Romero Special to submit Juventud. Time of fall: 11:36
* 3rd fall: Styles takes over where Warrior left off, and pins Juventud with the Styles Clash. Time of fall: 13:33

Momentos Espectaculares:
- Styles and Warrior hit stereo planchas on Juventud and Fuerza on the outside.
- Juventud gives Styles a low blow behind the Technico referee's back while the Rudo referee as usual looks past it.
- Styles executes his In-Ring Quebrada into Reverse DDT on Juventud.

2. Ricky Marvin, Super Crazy & The Amazing Red vs. Emilio Charles Jr., Doug Williams & Nicho El Millionaire (**1/2)
* 1st fall: A lot of sprinting from all six men, but Charles eventually hits Red with a Flying Dropkick to get the pin. Williams and Nicho both hit Marvin and Crazy with soccer kicks to the groin to keep them from breaking the pin. Time of fall: 8:28
* 2nd fall: Super Crazy makes short work of Doug Williams, and pins him following the Moonsault. Time of fall: 11:18
* 3rd fall: More fast sprints until Charles comes in and lariats all three of the technicos, but they fight back and toss Charles over the ropes. Williams hits Crazy with a VICIOUS Powerbomb that led to Nicho dropping the Diving Guillotine Leg Drop on Crazy for the victory. Time of fall: 15:06

Momentos Espectaculares:
- Charles and Williams giving Crazy a Double Powerbomb, following Charles giving Red a HARD lariat, in which he sells with a 360 flip.
- Crazy hits Williams with the Moonsault just as Marvin hits Nicho on the outside with a Corkscrew plancha.
- Charles gives all three technicos lariats, that they sell like death.

Back outside, Alberto Ortega hypes the upcoming match. He goes over Crazy MAX's reputation for being rebels in Japan. He then introduces a tape that Crazy MAX sent from Japan..

The tape is shown, and on the tape, subtitles are printed in spanish on the bottom. CIMA talks directly into the camera and says that Shocker calls himself 1000% Guapo, so that would make CIMA 2000% "Fucking" Guapo. SUWA says that they don't care about the rules, and that they are only there to fight. Fujii simply points to his lariat arm and yells "SAYONARA!"

3. Shocker, Mascara Magica & Mr. Niebla vs. [Crazy MAX] CIMA, SUWA & Don Fujii (**)
* 1st fall: SUWA quickly gets disqualified for assaulting the technico referee. The rudo referee tries to overturn the decision, but the technico ref decks the heel ref with a punch, so the ruling stands. Time of fall: 5:45
* 2nd fall: Crazy MAX take a commanding lead as they beat the technicos with their brawling. CIMA gives Niebla a Dropkick to the knee and follows it up with the La Casita and gets the three count. Time of fall: 12:20
* 3rd fall: The technicos make a big comeback, and even successfully fight off interference from TARU. Shocker uses the La Reinera (Modified Spinning Torture Rack) on SUWA to get the submission. Post match, both teams continue to brawl, and eventually the fight drags into the back.

Momentos Espectaculares:
- Crazy MAX's "CRAZY FUCKING" appeal is shown... for some reason.
- CIMA gives Magica the Venus Palm strike in the corner, followed by the Iconoclasm early on which led to a near fall, as Shocker made the save.
- CIMA and Shocker exchange slaps for a good 30 seconds.
- Don Fujii does his sumo stance before Lariating Magica for a near fall.
- Shocker counters SUWA's Black Tiger Bomb attempt with the La Reinera for the win.

Once again, we go outside with Alberto Ortega who once again shows clips of Dr. Wagner Jr.'s attack on Benoit, whichs takes us into our next match...

4. Mano a Mano: Crippler El Canadiense vs. Dr. Wagner Jr. (****1/4)
* 1st fall: A lot of excellent chain wrestling from Benoit, and the good Doctor seems to keep up with Benoit. Crippler counters Wagner's running lariat with the Crippler Crossface hold. Wagner instantly taps out. Time of fall: 10:49
* 2nd fall: Wagner attacks Crippler almost immediately, but just as Wagner did with Crippler's technical skill, Crippler was able to hang with Wagner's brawling. Unfortunately Wagner scored the fall after stopping Crippler's attempt at a Superplex by shoving Crippler to the mat, and squashing him with a Flying Splash. Time of fall: 18:37
* 3rd fall: After a few minutes to catch their breath, both men deliver an absolutely amazing sprint in the third fall. Both wrestlers blended both technical and brawling attacks with a couple of highflying spots. Crippler again counters Wagner's lariat with the Crossface, but Wagner rolls through Crippler's attempt and out of nowhere, drops Crippler with the Wagner Driver for the win. Time of fall: 26:39

Momentos Espectaculares:
-  Slick mat wrestling from both men to start things off. Ends with Crippler ducking Wagner's lariat and hitting a snap dropkick.
- Crippler hits a beautiful head tope onto Wagner on the outside.
- Benoit drops Wagner on the back of his head with a German suplex, but Wagner immediately stands up and catches Crippler off guard with a lariat for a near fall.
- Dr. Wagner misses a diving senton.
- Wagner struggles to fight off Crippler's superplex, and after a fierce headbutt, he shoves Crippler down to the mat and hits a Flying Splash to win the 2nd fall.
- Crippler again attempts his head tope, but Wagner rolls out of the way, causing Crippler to fall hard on the arena floor.
- Dr. Wagner uses his Michinoku Driver II, which he calls the "Wagner Driver" to successfully pin Crippler El Canadiense.

After the match, Crippler gets to his feet and calls Wagner back to the ring. He extends his hand in a show of respect and Wagner shakes it... but then kicks Crippler in the groin! Wagner puts a rudo beating on Crippler before leaving him in a fallen heap in the ring.

Back outside, Alberto Ortega talks about the newly created UFLL Tag Team titles, and the upcoming decision match between El Hijo Del Santo and Negro Casas versus. Rey Bucanero and Ultimo Guerrero, Los Guerreros Del Infernials. Clips of the contract signing are shown. A fight almost breaks out between both teams, but cooler heads prevailed...

5. UFLL Tag Team Titles: El Hijo Del Santo & Negro Casas [La Nueva Pareja Atomica] vs. [Los Guerreros Del Infernials] Rey Bucanero & Ultimo Guerrero (***1/2)
* 1st fall: The rudos attacked Santo/Casas before the bell and immediately took control of the fall. The technicos made very little offense in the match, and Bucanero put Casas away with the Falcon Arrow. Time of fall: 12:30
* 2nd fall: Santo makes the big comeback for the technicos, and only three minutes later, forces Bucanero to submit to his trademark Camel Clutch. Time of fall: 15:43
* 3rd fall: LGI took every opportunity to try to bend the rules to their advantage, and of course, the heel referee simply looked the other way. However, the technico referee finally had enough and decks the rudo for the second time tonight! This distraction allows Casas to lock the Scorpion Deathlock on Guerrero as Santo locks on the Camel Clutch on Bucanero. Both rudos immediately tapout! Santo and Casas win the UFLL Tag Team titles! Time of fall: 19:01

Momentos Espectaculares:
- Bucanero and Guerrero immediately rush Santo and Casas out of the ring and hit dual tope's onto the technicos.
- Rey Bucanero hits a beautifully executed spinning Falcon Arrow, putting Casas down for the first fall.
- The technicos return the favor on LGI by hitting dual topes on the outside.
- Santo shows great skills hitting Bucanero with a Hurricanrana, but releases the rana and locks on the Camel Clutch for the submission.
- LGI hits Santo with a Superbomb, almost getting the three count, but Casas makes the mad dive at the last second the make the save.
- Casas catches Guerrero with a hard lariat as Santo hits Bucanero with the Flying Somersault Headbutt. The technicos follow it up with locking on their patentant submission finishers for the win!
- El Hijo Del Santo and Negro Casas share a hug in the middle of the ring as they hold up their new UFLL Tag Team titles.

Alberto Ortega closes the show by hyping tomorrow night's house show from Arena Coliseo.

I very much appreciate the compliment. I wanted to do something different for the GWUF. Keep an eye out on more UFLL this week.

It's absolutely brilliant! I love it! The card looked very solid as well... all the matches were excellent (according to the ratings and reviews).
