Oliver's WWF Circuit
xavierflair | Posted on 02/09/03 at 01:54:50 Hey Oliver, I was wondering, do you have many new cards for your WWF Circuit, I just read the PPV after Wrestlemania which was interesting. I like the format so far and I would love to see more. |
Flipsyde | Posted on 02/09/03 at 08:24:21 I remember Oliver telling me he has alot of cards to add to that in the future. I hope he gets around to it if time permits. I remember back when TNM6.2+ was released, I think it was at least 5 months after, I tried to keep up as much as I could because it was pretty interesting. |
xavierflair | Posted on 02/09/03 at 21:10:32 I'm tempted to run VCCW vs LCWF like that. |
TecmoNick | Posted on 02/13/03 at 04:11:52 Yeah, the card after Wrestlemania was decent. I hope he decides to keep the circuit alive. That small text is a killer though :-/ |

Still, it's always cool to see a few new cards added to the circuit (I hadn't seen the post Wrestlemania cards until last night) so I guess I shouldn't complain. |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 02/14/03 at 10:06:34 I'm currently reuploading all cards with a larger font. Had to remove the 3rd column to accomodate this change, though, but I think it won't bother anybody. |
91 | Posted on 02/15/03 at 19:17:34 Hey Oliver, question comes to mind. On the front page for your circuit, you note that you leave everything unbooked, which is fair enough. Everything seems to follow this pattern throughout, except that Hogan/Rock feud you had which seems to have worked too perfectly to be true. So honestly - did you book any of that or was it just a perfect series of events? |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 02/15/03 at 20:58:32 I never booked a thing in that circuit. To tell you the truth, I never wanted to book Hogan and Rock in that way... I wanted it to be a one-shot thing but then TNM kept it going on its own. |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 02/16/03 at 00:34:14 One thing I do want to mention, though, regarding Hogan vs Rock is that I kept re-running the Royal Rumble until Hogan won because I had already written up the interview beforehand and it wouldn't have made much sense had anyone else won. |

The guy said he couldn't see the point in booking everything in TNM, which is his perogative. With that in mind, Royal Rumble's may well have been what drove me to booking everything - if it wasnt Hulk Hogan, it was Headshrinker 'f***ing' Samu or Henry 'f***ing' Godwinn. Thank the good lord that you can book the winners for battle royals now, I remember back in the day when you couldn't. |
ggazoo | Posted on 02/17/03 at 03:13:58 Hey guys, Anyone else having trouble reading the circuit - I can't scroll all the way down. :( |
xavierflair | Posted on 02/17/03 at 05:31:26 Yeah in the Netscape browser I have, I have some trouble clicking on the links too. |

I too couldn't stand when some low to mid carder would win the Royal Rumble in my fed and then move on to Wrestlemania. What I began doing though was not booking the Rumble, but entering the wrestlers into the match in the order I wanted. Usually it was the lowest ranked wrestler up to the highest coming in last. That made it so a higher ranked guy was more likely to win the Rumble than say someone with a record of 0-10 in the standings. |

TecmoNick | Posted on 02/18/03 at 00:16:24 On a side note about rumbles. Since most people don't like to book winners, but they know a few wrestlers that they DO NOT want to win...that should be an option in TNM. I would love to be able to take 7-10 wrestlers out of 30 and tell TNM to not let them win. Then you still get the suspense of who will win, and you don't have to worry about Disco Inferno winning the World Title...unless that's what you wanted of course. |
Carlzilla | Posted on 02/18/03 at 01:49:03 correct me if I am wrong but you can have certain people eleminated. Just select the book match option and book their elimination but do not book a winner. |
TecmoNick | Posted on 02/18/03 at 02:59:34 You know what, I think you're right. I totally forgot about the book match option in a rumble match. I'll check it out, thanks. |
Carlzilla | Posted on 03/26/03 at 23:03:15 I hope Oliver posts some new cards soon...I was just rereading his circut it is some good stuff. |
