The Rottweilers stop the momentum of the number one contenders cold just three days before they are to challenge for the NAWA World Tag Team Titles. Smokes looks pleased, as this is the third match in a row that the Rottweilers have won over Sabin and Bentley. We see the NAWA World Tag Team Champions the Archangels of Anarchy, Armageddon and Destruction, watch from the ramp, looking all brooding and emo, along with their valet Desdomia. Conspicious by his absense would be the leader of the Archangels of Angels, Christopher Daniels, who hasn't been seen in the past three weeks since his loss to Bryan Danielson in the First Round of the Gold Rush Tournament. The Archangels will put those belts on the line this Sunday against Chris Sabin and Matt Bentley.

The NAWA World Champion puts over Spanky for giving him a fight, before throwing everything that he could at Stylish but in the end, it didn't matter. No matter how hard Spanky fought, the ending was obviously, Stylish pinning his shoulders to the canvas for the three count. This Sunday, the Gambler is going be the latest victory. Stylish suggests that the Gambler savor that non title victory three weeks ago, because that's the only one that he's going to get over Stylish. No matter what the Gambler throws at him, the end will be as it should be, Miles Stylish walking out of Gold Rush as the NAWA World Champion. The crowd boos, Stylish drapes the title belt over his shoulder. He is the man to beat, at least for now. This Sunday, he puts the gold on the line agains the Gambler, who has been on a roll since coming back from his injury two months ago.

Rapmaster Killings is in the ring with an intense look on his face as it is time for the seventh first round match in the Gold Rush Tournament. "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees and out comes the NAWA International Champion Tony Mamaluke, along with his manager Larry Sweeney, who has a microphone and a briefcase, telling the announcers to cut the music. Sweeney rolls into the ring, as Killings stares them down. The sleezy double talking Sweeney tells Killings to hold on for a second, because he has an offer for him. Killings pauses as Sweeney puts over the Rapmaster as a former three time NAWA Television Champion, a great athlete, but also someone who has lacked direction for quite some time. The new attitude is a good start, but Sweeney says that he can take Killings to new heights. Under his management, Tony Mamaluke has gone from someone who was lost in the shuffle, to the NAWA International Champion. Sweeney promises that he can do the same thing for Killings.

Killings stands back, as Sweeney promises big money, big matches, and title shots in the future, if Killings just signs on with him. He can totally revive his career and turn him into a star. New look, new name, a total rebranding, anything to make Killings look like a start. Killings expresses interest and Sweeney opens the briefcase, which has stacks of money inside, along with a contract. All Killings has to do is sign but there is only one further thing. He has to forfeit this match to Tony Mamaluke, to allow him to advance to the Quarterfinals. The crowd is booing, they don't want Killings to do it, but Sweeney promises that while winning the Gold Rush Tournament would be big, it is nothing compared to what Larry Sweeney could give him if Killings signed over him. Slowly, Sweeney handed Killings a pen. After a few seconds pause, Killings signed the contract, much to the glee of Tony Mamaluke and Larry Sweeney!

Sweeney crows about his triumph, saying that he'll be in touch with Killings soon, to talk about what they're going to do to make him a star of the highest magnitude. He also announces that Tony Mamaluke has advanced to the finals of the Gold Rush Tournament where he will meet the winner of tonight's Ron Waterman and Jerry Lynn match. Mamaluke celebrates like he won the NAWA World Title at the main event of WrestleClash, but that celebration may be shortlived. Either Jerry Lynn or Ron Waterman would like to get their hands on Mamaluke due to Sweeney and Mamaluke screwing them in the recent past.

Backstage:

Dan Marion is standing backstage with Jerry Lynn who expresses his disgust about how Mamaluke advanced in the Gold Rush Tournament just moments ago. Lynn says he hasn't forgotten Sweeney and Mamaluke screwing him out of the NAWA International Title back at Reality Check but if he gets past Ron Waterman tonight, Lynn is ready for his revenge in the Quarter Finals of the Gold Rush Tournament. Before Lynn can talk more about his Gold Rush Tournament match, Sederick Skyhawk, Richard Ramos Ricardo Attorney, At Law, Mr. Fernando, Bruno the Bodyguard, and Candace Sweet come backstage. Skyhawk once again complains that Lynn's getting this interview time, when he should be because he's a star. Due to his status as NAWA Television Champion, Skyhawk proclaims himself to be the greatest thing on television. Skyhawk gets in Lynn's face, saying that Lynn can't touch him. With a smirk, Lynn turns slightly before he rears back and KNOCKS SKYHAWK RIGHT ON HIS ASS WITH A PUNCH RIGHT TO THE JAW!

The crowd is cheering madly in the background, as Canadace is shrieking, as Skyhawk looks enraged at being hit in the face. Bruno walks over and goes for Lynn, but security is in, to hold the big bodyguard back. Ricardo is yelling about a lawsuit and Mr. Fernando is just standing there. Chaos backstage here tonight on Glory, as still to come, Jerry Lynn squares off against Ron Waterman in the final first round match in the Gold Rush Tournament. That's the main event tonight.

If he hits that this Sunday, we could have a new NAWA World Champion. This Sunday, the Gambler squares off against Miles Stylish for the NAWA World Title. The Gambler celebrates the victory, as we go to the back where a situation is developing between Larry Sweeney, Tony Mamaluke, and New Jack. We have a cameraman backstage, let's go there now.

New Jack says that Mamaluke's in the tournament, but next up, there's a match with Jerry Lynn and Ron Waterman. The last time these two men had a match, Mamaluke screwed it up. So, New Jack is having Sweeney and Mamaluke ejected from the building. They protest, but security ushers them out. The Commissioner watches them leave, as we fade out with hype that coming up next is the final match in the Gold Rush Tournament between Ron Waterman and Jerry Lynn. More Glory after these messages.

Samoa Joe wins the opener as we all expected that he would.  Nice to see Teddy Hart get the better of him going into Gold Rush.  Sure, Joe is going to kill him, but it never hurts for the dominant monster to get a little heat on him.  A monster is only as good as that little bit of vulnerability he shows.  No one cares if he just mows through everyone (are you listening Goldberg?) and you've done a great job with him so far.

Though I obviously like the Rottweilers team more than Bentley/Sabin, I'm not a big fan of Bentley/Sabin losing clean like this.  As much as I dislike DoD, they need to retain at the PPV so Homicide and Low-Ki can take the gold from them soon after.

Great match between Stylish/Spanky, and one that could potentially elevate the young Kendrick.  I have no problems with that.  And Stylish better be retaining at Gold Rush.

I like the build to Killings signing with Sweeney (hopefully now dropping the Rapmaster moniker).  I also like the swirmy way that Mamaluke advanced.  My one little tiny beef is that it makes the Gold Rush tournament seem secondary, but there's enough other quality talent in the tournament and good matches to come that will surely overshadow that tiny blemish.

Not a lot to say about the tag match other than it being a very very good TV match, and Danielson continues to impress.

Main event time, and it was a good one.  Waterman's been established as so dominant, it's hard for him to suffer losses without killing his heat.  So although this was a good main event, no way he was losing.  And he gets one more crack at destroying Mamaluke, which I believe he will.
