"Viva Las Vegas" plays but a loud clapping sound is heard, as Miles Stylish approaches from the back. The music is cut and Stylish applauds the Gambler on his hard fought victory over Chuck Palumbo. In fact, the Gambler's been winning a lot since he's returned from that knee injury, Stylish mentions that the Gambler hasn't been pinned since returning, a feat to be sure and says that the Gambler has worked hard since returning. But, all the hard work in the world will not stop the inevitable at Gold Rush. After he gets done with Scott Steiner tonight, Stylish remarks that his full attention will be on the Gambler. The Gambler has gotten further than anyone at his position could ever hope for, challenging the greatest wrestler in the world for the NAWA World Title, a chance that thousands of wrestlers would shove their grandmother down a flight of stairs in order to get. But, he looks out into the crowd, all of them wishing they were Miles Stylish, but they are in fact the Gambler. They no doubt do their best at what they do, but Miles Stylish is the best and their best is not good enough to match his worst. The Gambler will learn that harsh truth at Gold Rush.

The Gambler has the microphone, saying ever since Unholy Alliances, when he suffered a freak knee injury against the Dark Warrior during his chance to become NAWA World Champion, he has been haunted by the questions of how that match would have ended how it not been hurt. He worked and rehabbed hard to return, to not be plagued by the questions of what might have been. At Gold Rush, he gets one more chance, a second chance, perhaps one last chance to prove that he belongs, that he can reign atop the mountain as the NAWA World Champion. Stylish cuts the Gambler off, wishing him the best of luck, but he has to prepare for a match with Scott Steiner coming up next. The champion concludes that the Gambler better watch this match, because it's just a preview of what's going to take place at Gold Rush. The championship match between Scott Steiner and Miles Stylish is coming up next, winner puts that belt on the line at the Gambler at Gold Rush. Don't you dare touch that dial!

Feedbackery!

Didn't see Sabin/Bentley winning, and sadly, don't see them winning at the PPV either.

CM Punk advances in the Gold Rush tournament, which I can't say is all that surprising.  First round's been predictable, but what can you do?

Samoa Joe continues to be a bad ass, destroying two big stars in Teddy Hart & Raven in the process.  Still wondering how he gets thrown out of the tournament.

And Styles wins in not all that surprising fashion.  Good match, but looks like you're wanting to elevate the Phenomenal One, so kudos.

Oh, the Gambler.  You're a weird dude, Harms.  He continues to impress, but he's not winning the title under any circumstances.

That was a ridiculously good main event.  I never pictured a Scott Steiner match ever getting *****.  Awesome match, right guy won, all is well.
