The announcers talk about how if the title would have been on the line tonight, the Gambler would have been the NAWA World Champion. Stylish pulls himself up, calling for the microphone, shouting for it. He says that the Gambler might have beat him tonight, but the Gambler didn't wrestle for ninety minutes over the past week. So, the Gambler got lucky. The Gambler responds if he was so lucky, why doesn't Stylish give him an NAWA World Title Shot? Stylish accepts the challenge after a few seconds pause, saying that there is no way that the Gambler can beat him and attempts to cheapshot the Gambler but the Gambler ducks. Soon, all will fall. Tonight, Armageddon and Destruction will face off the Rottweilers again and the result will be the same as it had been last time, a victory for the Archangels of Anarchy. Daniels says that last year he won the Gold Rush Tournament and this year, he will repeat that performance tonight. He says that tonight Bryan Danielson is going to be struck out of the tournament and three more men will be as well. Daniels will be the NAWA World Champion, that is the gospel of the Fallen Angel. We fade out with Armageddon and Destruction strapping the NAWA World Tag Team Title Belts over their shoulders, before Desdomia leads them out as they have that match next against the Rottweilers. More Glory after these messages.

Nice tilt a whirl backbreaker and Destruction rolls around, before Low Ki drills a knee to the back of the head. RIGHT INTO A VICIOUS LARIAT TO THE JAW! Destruction crumbles up like a leap as Homicide just plastered him.

Homicide is rolling over to the corner as Destruction crawls towards Armageddon. Tag to Armageddon and tag to Low Ki. Low Ki leaps in and cuts Armageddon down with a springboard kick to the face. Low Ki bounces off the ropes and huge kick rattles Armageddon. Destruction is on the ring apron and Low Ki takes him down with a Mongolian Chop, before he backs off and running dropkick to the knee, sending Destruction to the floor, where Homicide enters the ring and leaps over the top rope with a pescado right onto Destruction! Low Ki hooks up Armageddon in a cradle before hoisting him up halfway and dropping him across the knee facefirst. Armageddon convulses on the mat and Low Ki goes to the outside. He's on the top rope and leaps off. FLYING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP MAY HAVE COLLAPSED THE RIBS OF ARMAGEDDON! Low Ki makes the cover hooking the leg for a two and a half count!

Low Ki is frustrated, he thought the NAWA World Tag Team Titles was in his grasp. Backing off, he prepares to measure Armageddon but DESDOMIA GRABS THE ANKLE FROM BEHIND. Low Ki struggles, turning around, as he sees that Desdomia has the ankle. SOCCER KICK RIGHT TO THE NOSE OF DESDOMIA! She flies back, striking the back of her head on the bottom of the guardrail but Armageddon palm thrusts Low Ki right in the throat as he turns around. Low Ki drops and Armageddon covers to score the pin!

The Archangels of Anarchy (Armageddon and Destruction) defeated Homicide and Low-Ki when Armageddon pinned Low-Ki after a palm blow in 0:10:13.

(The Archangels of Anarchy retained the NAWA Tag Team Titles.)

The Archangels of Anarchy have retained the NAWA World Tag Team Titles but Desdomia is bleeding from that kick she took to the face from Low Ki. Out comes Scott Steiner, the hired gun of the Archangels of Anarchy, and he enters the ring and pulls up Low Ki, before nearly dumping him right on the back of his head with an overhead belly to belly suplex! Homicide enters the ring but Steiner throttles him, before beating him up, and Steiner takes down Homicide with a German Suplex. Steiner gets on the microphone and begins to rip into the NAWA World Champion Miles Stylish. Big Poppa Pump reminds us that he had a title shot two months ago, before "Harry Harris landed on his pencil neck and got himself crippled". Now, the Gambler gets a title shot over Big Poppa Pump? Steiner says Stylish is ducking him, because he knows there is nothing finer than Scott Steiner. Big Poppa Pump promises to make Styish is prison yard bitch and gives a shot out to all his freaks, while saying he's going to be the next NAWA World Champion, it doesn't matter how many people he's gong to have to beat up. Big Poppa Pump is your hook up, holla if you hear me. Afterwards, a security guard enters the ring and Steiner grabs him by the throat, pummeling him, before putting him in the Steiner Recliner. Steiner punishes the security guard, as referees and security come down to the ring, to try to pull the crazed Steiner off. Afterwards, Steiner walks off, face beet red, as the injured security guard along with Low Ki and Homicide are being tended to in the ring.

Backstage:

Dan Marion is standing backstage with Jerry Lynn. Marion talks about Jerry Lynn came just a second away from scoring a tie and thus forcing a sudden death overtime in the sixty minute Iron Man Match against Miles Stylish at Wildfire. It is also mentioned that many insiders in wrestling are wondering if Jerry Lynn has what it takes in this stage to compete on a high level. Many are suggesting that Lynn should retire right now. Lynn actually looks amused by this statement and says he'll retire when he's good and ready, but he still has a few more years left in and some of that time will be with the NAWA World Title around his waist. He will win the Gold Rush Tournament and then go onto win the NAWA World Championship at Night of the Rogues.

At this point, Sederick Skyhawk, Candace Sweet, Richard Ramos Ricardo, Attorney At Law, Mr. Fernando, and Bruno the Bodyguard interrupt the interview. Skyhawk boasts to make way for a real winner and a real champion, bragging about his victory over AJ Styles. Marion states that he's trying to do an interview, but Marion is just brushed off, by Candace saying "you should like so be talking to the champion, instead of this old fossil. He's like ick, someone should like so totally put him in a home". Lynn just looks at Skyhawk, remarking that he has a nice title belt, the same belt that Lynn held longer than anyone else in the NAWA. Candace remarks that he did hold it, but not any more, which means he lost it and thus he's so totally a loser. Skyhawk suggests that Lynn get up close to a monitor, "put on the bifocals if you have to see me gramps", and watch a real champion at work. Ricardo puts over Skyhawk as the greatest NAWA Television Champion of all time, something that causes Lynn to be disgusted at and promises victory in the Gold Rush Tournament, as the group walks off, as we fade to black. Raven and Skyhawk in the first first round match in the Gold Rush Tournament after this.

Gold Rush Tournament First Round
Sederick Skyhawk(w/Candace Sweet, Mr. Fernando, Richard Ramos Ricardo, Attorney At Law, and Bruno the Bodyguard) vs. Raven

Raven made it to the finals of last year's Gold Rush Tournament. The announcers talk about Raven being provoked by CM Punk into losing his mind, showing a different side of Raven, as Skyhawk tries the usual stalling tactics to heel heat. Eventually, Mr. Fernando hops up on the ring apron to distract Raven and this earns him with a forearm right to the face. Fernando goes down and Skyhawk attacks Raven from behind, pummeling him, before hititng a short arm clothesline and a pair of elbow drops. Skyhawk chokes Raven on the middle rope and distracts the referee, allowing Bruno to pummel him! Raven falls back and Skyhawk hammers Raven, before hooking him around the head. Running elbowsmash into the corner and Raven hooks Skyhawk, before bringing him down with a bulldog! Two count as Ricardo puts his foot on the ropes. Raven attacks Ricardo, beating him down, as Bruno is on the ring apron, ripping off the turnbuckle pad, exposing the buckle. The large bodyguard drops down, the announcers talk about how an exposed turnbuckle spelled doom for AJ Styles in his match with Skyhawk at the Pay Per View. Skyhawk is up and he attacks Raven from behind, and attempts to run him into the buckles, but Raven blocks it and SKYHAWK HITS HEADFIRST INTO THE EXPOSED STEEL. Skyhawk staggers out and Raven kicks him, before connecting with the Evenflow DDT! Skyhawk is rolled over, and three slaps of the mat later, Raven is the first man to advance into the elite eight of the Gold Rush Tournament.

Backstage:

Larry Sweeney enters the Commissioner's office, demanding to know why he's been summoned. Sweeney says he's the agent for the greatest wrestler in the company in NAWA International Champion Tony Mamaluke and he has several more pressing, high priced deals currently on the table, so he can't be going to New Jack's office just because he demands him to. New Jack tells Sweeney to shut up and listen. At the Pay Per View, the way the NAWA International Championship match between Tony Mamaluke and Ron Waterman ended was very suspicious. Sweeney denies knowing what New Jack was talking about, suggesting that Ron Waterman might have some kind of inner ear problem that caused him to lose his balance and says that the NAWA really should have doctor's to check this kind of thing out. New Jack tells Sweeney to shut up once again which causes the fast talking agent to look rather irritated at New Jack telling him what to do.

The Commissioner says that he believes Sweeney had something to do with the dodgy ending to the match but he can't prove anything as nothing was caught on tape. But, he can make a return match between Ron Waterman and Tony Mamaluke for next week for the NAWA International Title. Sweeney flips out, saying that Waterman doesn't deserve a title shot, he deserves to be locked in a cage, which prompts New Jack to add this match will be inside the confines of a fifteen foot high steel cage. Sweeney is sweating bullets because the cage will keep Mamaluke in with a murderous Ron Watermn and Larry Sweeney out. New Jack then yells for security to escort Sweeney out of the offense as next week it will be Ron Waterman and Tony Mamaluke for the NAWA International Title inside the cage.

Snabbit888Posted on 07/17/08 at 06:21:09

I really suck at staying up to date with feedbacking, so I'm going to get this one within a 5 hour span!  Take THAT, Harms!

Wow... considering the man crush you have on pushing Stylish, I was shocked that The Gambler of all people was the one who'd get a pin on him.  Of course it was non-title and no way Stylish loses the belt to him, but talk about coming back from an injury.

Samoa Joe's domination continues, this week eating Petey Williams alive.  Interested to see how Joe does in the tournament, as a clean loss kills his momentum but he's too new to be winning the whole thing.  My guess is he gets double counted out or something along those lines at some point.

Ugh.  Still hate the AoA, but what can ya do?  Steiner comes in and beats some asses and spouts some catchphrases.  Stylish has not made himself many friends, surely.

Was wodnering what was next for Lynn after his near miss in the Iron Man match, and it looks like a feud with Skyhawk.

Raven beats Skyhawk, as I assumed he would.  Skyhawk has a nice thing going with the TV Title, but Raven's on another level.

Larry Sweeney is gold, and you've done a great job with the Mamaluke/Waterman feud, and the cage match next week will be no different.

Tag match between two teams I don't care much for.  I like Sabin, but Bentley is meh.  With Anderson/Diamond just reuniting, I figure they'll win the best of 3, but lose the second match next week.

Great way to close the show with an awesome match, and Daniels continues to slip down the totem pole in NAWA, losing another.  Danielson's stock is rising though and he should give Raven a run for his money.
