Good news for TNM on "modern" computers?

I'm just wondering if 64-bit Windows 7 runs (or can run) XP in 32-bit mode.  This would be a heck of a lot simpler and cleaner than any of the current solutions available.

Doubtful, as TNM isn't even a Windows app, really. Will be interesting to see, though.

It doesn't work. Since it's not a Windows-based app with a Windows-based installer, it doesn't show up on the XP Mode Start Menu item.

I may have found a way to do it...

Ok, good news. It WILL work. Plugins too.

The XP Mode is XP 32-bit, so DOS apps will run.

To get it to work, you install TNM (or copy it over from a real machine) to the Virtual Machine.

Then you have to MANUALLY create a program group in the Start Menu, and a link to TNM.

Once you do this, TNM will show up on the XP Mode Start Menu.

Windows-based plugins do work (Tested the Visualizer). In fact, the Windows plugins run faster than TNM itself, it seems.

That's the major downside: TNM in this method is slower than running it on DosBox... But at least you have access to Windows Plugins.

No wonder you go by the screen name of psz.  A whole lot easier to type.  :)
