WOW! Great to have you back Rick  ;D

Didn't see Dusty breaking up the pinfall, was he just beating Flair, or hurting Funk at the time? HMMMM

Oh and if you are going for historical accuracy in venues,
The Liacouras Center wasn't in existence in 1989. Temple's main athletic venue was McGonigle Hall (Home of some fabulous Tri-State Wrestling Alliance action.)

The NWA did used the ancient Philadelphia Civic Center's Convention Hall for hose shows and some PPV's. I recall a Slamboree and I think the original Haloween Havoc were held there.

I know you said your work was hectic and real life always comes first, but glad to see you back in teh saddle.

He was interfering against Funk... take that for what you will.

At least I didn't pick Viking Hall on Swanson and Ritner in South Philly.  ;)  I will make a point to "fix" the venue for the June 16 Philly show to be at McGonigle Hall.  Thanks.

And yes I am actually booked several weeks ahead in this thing on paper, just not run in TNM yet.

[quote]And now.... the team that's made more men run than Milk of Magensia.... Lover Boy Dennis and Beautiful Bobby, THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS/quote]

Cornette, the prince of polyester... and clown shoes, is one of the all time great ring intro guys.  I'd like to think that he's had a hand in teaching some of his skills to Daivari and to Armando.... Alejandro.... Estrrrrrrada.  Estrada has the ability to make you just want to hate him as soon as you see him on your TV, because he has done such a good job at being the old school annoying manager in so short a time on RAW.  And being that type of manager is really a lost art.

If his OVW work is any indication, Armanda Alajandro Estrada is going to be one of the best managers. For some reason, he seems like a cuban Ric Flair.

Too bad Robbie Dawber isn't on RAW with him. Although, for some reason, Dawber seems like an ECW guy. He'd be a funny color guy for Joey Styles if they decide to use a color guy on ECW television.

Did Estrada ever become El Dictator de los Kentuckos yet?

Whole-heartedly agree.

Managers of like Corny, Heenan, Blassie were experts on talking, and garnering heat for their men.

Don't know why Vince, Jr doesn't see in managers what his father saw in them.

Hopefully the case of Armando will help Vince see the light (Maybe he'll get jiggy with it again  ::))
