Taped Fist No-Countout-No-DQ-Match:
Ron Garvin and Rick Steamboat defeated The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey) when Steamboat defeated Condrey when Condrey passed out in a Fujiwara armbar in 0:01:22.
Rating: **
(Ron Garvin and Rick Steamboat retained the Tag Team Titles.)

Steamboat gets a rather quick win to retain the Tag Team Titles. Jim Cornette is beside himself that it was over this quick but not enough so that he has asked the ring announcer to call Arn Anderson down to the ring. The ring announcer obliges Jim Cornette and says that Cornette has requested Arn Anderson to the ring. Garvin, Steamboat and Cornette all seem to be awaiting Anderson's arrival from the locker room area. The crowd is starting to stir on the side of the ring opposite the aisleway.

And it's Arn Anderson through the crowd and into the ring. Steamboat extends a hand for a handshake while a disgusted Ron Garvin watches on. Anderson doesn't let go as Steamboat tries to turn away! Clothesline to Steamboat from Anderson! Garvin tries to flee from the ring, but the Midnight Express throw him back in and Anderson takes off his belt and begins to whip Garvin with it. Cornette reaches into one of his polyester sportcoat pockets and pulls out not one, but TWO pair of handcuffs. Anderson cuffs Steamboat to the top rope! And the Midnight Express have cuffed Garvin on the opposite side of the ring to the top rope! This is apparently to send a message to the Rock N Roll Express from Cornette.

Anderson again takes his leather belt and starts to lash Steamboat with it, while Cornette is working over Ron Garvin with his tennis racket!

FINALLY... the Rock N Roll Express half dressed for their match later on come running down to the ring without their boots on to make the save for the Tag Team Champions!

Jim Cornette reaches into the other coat pocket and hands Anderson an envelope, while Anderson smiles and walks off from Cornette's group.

What a way to kick things off here in Cincinnati. We have so much action scheduled here tonight, that we are foregoing our normal rundown of the night's event to get you right back to the ring!

Morton and Gibson both turn at the same time... and see Cornette still in the ring not aware that his team has been sent to the floor.

The Rock N Roll Express sneak up behind him, tap him on the shoulder, and he turns thinking it's his team, but when he realizes who it is, he drops to the ground and tries to roll from the ring. Morton grabs him and pulls him back in. Gibson cuffs Cornette to the top rope. Morton grabs Cornette's tennis racket and *SPANK* on the backside of Cornette to the cheers of the fans! Eaton and Condrey are back in and run off the Rock N Roll Express.

Survivors: Waylon Mercy, Afa, Great Kabuki
Rating: -**** 1/4

Afa dominates for his team in this one as KAbuki was busted wide open early on. Sika looks like he is in need of some serious medical attention from the laceration on his head as he has lost a LOT of blood here inside this heinous steel structure.

woah Anderson turned on Steamboat and Garvin.what will steamboat and garvin do to retaliate?
I guess we'll have to see.  And just what was the deal with the envelope that Cornette gave Anderson?  And does this mean that Garvin and Steamboat have settled their differences or not?

Well atleast the Rock N Roll spanked Cornette.
A Season's Beatings if you will.

The Raging Bull won the title even though Hawk had been battered and bloody going in.
Hawk cost himself the title by fighting with his arch nemesis Maxx Payne, what else can you say.  Their feud just won't die.

Itll be interesting to see what happens with the Anderson Armstrong situation hey Double A. another good card
Should be interesting, but not as interesting as the Anderson turning on Steamboat and Garvin that has kinda been a slow build if you go back and piece together all of the evidence of things Anderson's been doing in recent week's.  But at the time he was doing them, you would never have guessed it... but in hindsight, it is pretty obvious this was coming.  I'll offer up a detailed explanation if it's needed.

Thanks for reading.
