Garvin got the win for his team over Lady's Choice.  After the match, Arn Anderson came down to the ring and said something to Robert Gibson who was celebrating with Ron Garvin.  Gibson stopped his celebration and ran to the back not acknowledging any of the fans with a serious look on his face.  Arn tried to get Garvin's attention as well, and when he did, Garvin floored Anderson with a punch, thinking it was one of the members of Lady's Choice.  Garvin seemed to be distraught that he hit Anderson, especially since Rick Steamboat, Garvin's normal partner and the other half of the Tag Team Champions with Garvin, will be teaming with Arn Anderson later on tonight.

Tonight on the card, Kamala brings a mystery partner to take on a mystery team.  Wahoo McDaniel & Manny Fernandez do battle with Nikita Koloff & Billy Jack Haynes.  Afa and Waylon Mercy step in the ring with Sika and Masahiro Darsow.  Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson take on The Nasty Boys.  Dusty Rhodes faces Fantastic Fulton.  Arn Anderson and Rick Steamboat take on the J-Tex Corporation.  And in the main event, Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair defends against Road Warrior Hawk with Maxx Payne the special referee.

Rating: **
(Hawk won the Heavyweight Title.)

In what seems to have been an awfully fast count from Maxx Payne, especially since he and Hawk supposedly hate each other so much, Hawk is the NEW Heavyweight Champion.  Flair is irate and in the face of Maxx Payne.  Payne decks Flair and sends him reeling.  Flair bumps into Hawk and Hawk gorilla presses Flair to the floor!  Payne comes up to Hawk and they go face to face in a big staredown.  Both men physically begin to shake from all the rage between them.  When finally out of nowhere... they hug?!?  In the middle of the ring?!  I cannot believe what I am seeing.  This was one devious plan.  And it appears to have worked.

Join us again next week in Lexington, Kentucky, as Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Dusty Rhodes take on J-Tex Corporation and Kamala in 6-man tag team action.  And in the main event, the Tag Team Champions Ron Garvin and Rick Steamboat will defend against The Midnight Express.

Until next time, so long everybody!

interesting Hawk beat Ric Flair. Maybe Payne felt he would have an easier time beating Hawk for the title? Uh oh Kamala brought in Tiger Mask but the question is do they even speak the same language? Could Morton's absensce be related to the J-Tex sabatoging his car so they had the numbers advantage tonight?

interesting Hawk beat Ric Flair. Maybe Payne felt he would have an easier time beating Hawk for the title?
I love when people get the angle without it having to be explained.  :)  You hit it right on the head.

Uh oh Kamala brought in Tiger Mask but the question is do they even speak the same language?
Well CW's explanation is that Kamala went back to Uganda and found this Tiger like creature in deepest, darkest Africa.  :)  And in case, anyone didn't know this, after doing a little homework back when Kamala was a big WWF star feuding with Hogan, I found out that English is the official language of Uganda, so therefore, it's highly likely that Tiger Mask and Kamala can and do communicate.  In fact, I've got a great plan for Kamala's character, if I can keep him under contract.

Could Morton's absensce be related to the J-Tex sabatoging his car so they had the numbers advantage tonight?
I can confirm that it wasn't J-Tex.  And it may or may not have been Morton's car that was the problem.  I guess only Morton can confirm this, hopefully on the next card.

TerryFunkaPosted on 01/27/05 at 04:53:07

Maybe Tiger Mask can take Kamala bowling if they ever win the CW tag titles?

Oh this is my 100th post and the CW card took place in a city where i lived back in the day.Irony i think not.
