Match with Special Referee Ole Anderson:

Rating: ** 1/2
(Steve Armstrong retained the Heavyweight Title.)

Armstrong definitely had the advantage with Ole Anderson as the referee as Steamboat was the victim of several slow counts. After the match, Steamboat confronted Ole about what seemed to be a fast count to end the match.

This lead to Steamboat and Ole exchanging blows. And out comes Dusty Rhodes to help Steamboat. And then here comes Flair. And now it's Arn Anderson in the ring... and here comes Ron Garvin and Nikita Koloff. And they go after Arn, which in turn brings out Tully and Terry. And now here comes Jimmy Valiant and we have all 10 men from next week's WarGames in the ring! It's total chaos!

And down the aisle comes Waylon Mercy! But he doesn't enter the ring, he just merely watches from ringside laughing at the calamity in the ring.

Join us next week as we will feature a Russian Chain match between Billy Jack Haynes and Krusher Khrushchev. And our big event of WarGames '84!

Until next week for WarGames in Tallahassee, Florida, so long everybody!

Rest assured I read your stuff, Rick, so I thought I'd comment on it, and I'm trying desperately to get into it, as I know the kind of time and effort you put into BCW.  Nothing's working for me quite yet.  I'm still having problems getting past the ruleset part that we've talked about before.  I will continue reading though in hopes that somethnig will click here as hey, we're Sycamores, baby. :)

Hehe.  Now the Russkies are jobbing to each other! ;D

Waylon Mercy.  Oh my goodness.  And he seems to have made quite an impact already.  Very cool.  And by the looks of things, he has some kind of interest in WarGames.  Although, to be fair, who wouldn't? ;)

And Armstrong retains his title!  Wow.  Seeing Steve Armstrong not only as CW's Heavyweight Champion, but as such a dominant champion is almost surreal.

Can't wait for WarGames.

We're sorta to the spot of the rules though where the rules pretty much only dictate the main event and opening match for a few cards.

Hehe.  Now the Russkies are jobbing to each other!
It's the only way I could get ANY of them a win... can you blame me?  ;)

Waylon Mercy.  Oh my goodness.  And he seems to have made quite an impact already.  Very cool.  And by the looks of things, he has some kind of interest in WarGames.  Although, to be fair, who wouldn't?
Someone on one of the teams won't have an interest in it... that's for sure.  :)

And Armstrong retains his title!  Wow.  Seeing Steve Armstrong not only as CW's Heavyweight Champion, but as such a dominant champion is almost surreal.

You don't know how shocked I was when he beat the Dragon the first time... and even more shocked that's he still the champ.  He could become CW's version of BCW's La Parka if he keeps it up.

Can't wait for WarGames.
Me either.  It should be quite an event.
