BCW Event Center - Special Edition

Hello fans and welcome to this special edition of BCW Event Center.

We are going to take a special look at just how we got to the finals of the tournament. First let's take a look at how Benoit made it this far.

Benoit qualified at Trust No One - Card #56 when he defeated "Crazy" Bob Backlund from nWo presents. Benoit then got Cactus Jack to hurt himself for a quick countout win in the first round. Benoit pinned Player King Kong Bundy in the semi-finals for the opportunity to be in the finals of the tournament.

That's how Benoit made it to the finals. Now let's take a look at how D-Von Dudley got to the finals.

It was at The Spot - Card #59 where D-Von Dudley held off eleven other competitors all fighting for that final spot into the tournament to face Paul Orndorff. D-Von made only one elimination but it was the most important one of the night as he eliminated Arn Anderson to win the match and the spot. D-Von then pinned Paul Orndorff to score an upset here in the first round as nWo presents made their presence felt against Paul Orndorff during the match.

D-Von pinned his half-brother Buh Buh Ray Dudley in the semi-finals for the opportunity to face Chris Benoit here tonight in the finals. D-Von Dudley represents all of Dudleyville here tonight. Let's go now to Adam Flash standing by.

Flash: "Lance Storm, you probably wonder why I chose tonight to make my return. Well, you see Lance, you took something from me and I felt it was time that I took something from you. So since you took six weeks of my career, I thought it only fitting to take your chance to win the tournament."

Flash looked to be ready to return to action early in the night, but one has to wonder if he's bitten off more than he can chew as he not only jumped Lance Storm, he jumped a Horseman! Paul Orndorff is standing by with comments on his performance earlier tonight.

Orndorff: "You know I could come out here and complain that I was screwed, but I won't. You see, I should have known that nWo presents was going to do something like this to keep me from winning. Koloff, Backlund, you two think you've finished off the Players? Guys, it's only just begun!"

Paul Orndorff seemed to be ready to step it up against nWo presents, but to think that feud all started over the services of Barry Mercury. And Mercury still hasn't decided on which side to team with.

That's all for this special edition of the BCW Event Center. Stay tuned for the finals of the Three In A Row TourNaMent!

D-Von Dudley wins?  Who'da thunk it?

Well, me actually.  If I remember the export of D-Von that you're using, it's insanely good at winning everything to the point that D-Von climbed to low main event status over the course of several months in an old WWE SmackDown circuit I used to run.

Lot of short matches with weak finishes, though.  Shame, because some of them could have been absolutely spectacular.
