Ivan Koloff thought his recruiting mission a week ago was going to pay off here in this one as it was Barry Mercury that he was trying to acquire for nWo presents!  However, that was not the case as Barry counted down Backlund for the three giving the Players the win here tonight.  Barry raised Orndorff's hand after the match just like any referee would do and then left the ring, still not showing ANY allegiance to either side in this bidding war for his services.

BCW Event Center

Hello fans.  And welcome once again to the Event Center.

We have BIG news this week regarding the big Three In A Row TourNaMent in just two weeks.  We have just received word on the pairings and they look like this:

Seed #1: Paul Orndorff vs Seed #8: Winner of last chance battle royal
Seed #2: Chris Benoit vs Seed #7: Winner of Cactus Jack vs Syxx next week
Seed #3: King Kong Bundy vs Seed #6: Lance Storm
Seed #4: Buh Buh Ray Dudley vs Seed #5: Justin Credible

We have also learned that ANYONE that has not wrestled in a qualifier match for this tournament is eligible for the last chance battle royal next week for the 8th and final seed to face Paul Orndorff.  Let's go to Chris Benoit standing by with his thoughts:

Benoit: "I am the rabid wolverine.  And it doesn't matter whether it's that no good nWo luggage handler Syxx or that wily veteran Cactus Jack.  Either way, I am going to win that match and win the entire tournament because I am the crippler!"

It looks like Benoit has his sights set high for the tournament.  Let's get a few words from a fairly new tag team here in BCW, Supply and Demand:

Val Venis: "Helloooo Ladies!  Val Venis here.  And me and the Godfather are here to take BCW by storm.  We've already beaten some of the top teams here and are on our way to get some gold."

The Godfather: "That's right Big Valbowski.  Let's light this mother up and show the competition here, just what it means to be pimpin' hoes..."

Together: "NATIONWIDE!"

It sounds like Supply and Demand are going national in their quest for BCW Championship gold.  Let's go to Kurt Angle and Ken Shamrock for their thoughts on their match last week with Dr Death and Scott Norton:

Angle: "You know Ken even though that match wasn't for the titles, it was something special.  And even though we didn't win, gosh darnit, we're still the best tag team in BCW history."

Shamrock looking frustrated: "Kurt, you know we've been the best here in BCW longer than ANY other team.  And it was that ho Dawn Marie that brought us crashing down.  Well Kurt, let me tell you, we're not gonna let that floozy get in our way again.  So Williams, Norton, anywhere any time, we are gonna snap and when we do... you best look out cause me and Kurt are gonna take you out."

There you have it folks, Angle and Shamrock are on a quest to take down Norton and Williams.  But first Williams and Norton get their chance at winning the BCW Tag Team Titles next week.

In other news, just which side will Barry Mercury be choosing in the upcoming weeks?  Will he side with nWo presents or will he go with the Players?  That's it for this edition of BCW Event Center.  Stay tuned for more BCW action!

(La Parka won the Beta World Title.)

La Parka has done it again!  He is now a 4-time BCW Champion!

Ole is irate that he lost the title to La Parka whom Ole never truly defeated in the first place.  Ole looks to be signalling for the rest of the Horsemen to come to the ring...

And out comes Arn, Flair, Storm and Credible!  It appears that La Parka may be outnumbered...

But wait...

Mosco!   And Lizmark!  And they each have chairs!  And we're
out of time!

Until next time, so long everybody!

Cactus Jack kicking out of the Jacknife and beating Nash!  Another huge win for Cactus...

Storm/Jericho once again can't live up to the hype.  Damn Sid coming out for no good reason.

La Parka is the BCW Icon.  I really think he is about to start another long reign as champ...

Well, I did have a long post of thoughts and reactions written up.  But the forum ate it.  So please accept this smiley as an alternate form of payment.

Eventually Storm and Jericho will have to live up to the hype or else, Storm may not be able to live up to the standard of excellence known as being a IV Horseman.  (you heard it hear first)  ;)

As far as Parka goes.. he is indeed the MAN in BCW.
And so far two of the Horsemen have taken his title, but he's taken it right back the following match.  The real test is going to be if he ever faces Ric Flair.  :)  Plus he owes Flair for borrowing his gear to get Ole the title a couple cards back.

And Eric.. smiley accepted... I had something similar happen to a reply I was making to some comments on another of the BCW cards earlier so I had to rewrite and repost it completely as a smiley to Liller's comments wouldn't have made sense.  ;)

I think that after this "Three In A Row" TourNaMent on Card #60, we'll be seeing the feuds heat up en route to "Endings" on Card #66.  My biggest problem is figuring out which side Barry Mercury is going to end up joining.

LillaThrillaPosted on 05/07/04 at 19:46:08

Luchadores vs Horsemen?  It's like Gang Warz Part 2, this time with Mexicans vs old white guys instead of the black guys vs the Puerto Ricans vs the white biker thugs.  :)

Mind you I once booked an 4v4 FBI vs Team Japan fued in an ECW superleague circuit that went good until half of Team Japan quit before the PPV and screwed by booking plans.  Couldn't get their work visas renewed I guess...  :P

And i chortle at how you've taken to writing "tournament" as "TourNaMent"  ;D
