BCW Event Center

Hello again BCW fans.  Welcome to this week's Event Center

It has been learned that Three In A Row in 3 weeks will indeed be a one night only 8 man single elimination tournament.  And so far, we have Players Paul Orndorff and King Kong Bundy qualified, as well as Buh Buh Ray Dudley and Chris Benoit, for this big night of action.  Cactus Jack and Syxx were given this week off due to the brutality of their match last week.  Also Rick Martel is nursing some aches and pains from last week as well.  Let's go to Martel for his thoughts on his tag team match against the Dudleys next week.

Martel: "Zee Dudlays.  For I am Rick Martel, great wrestler, and great man of Quebec.  Mr. Matthews and myself are coming to take you evil men out next week.  And as for nWo presents, NASH!  You NEVER drop a great athlete like me on my head because eventually, it WILL come back on you!"

Rick Martel isn't being too hasty in forgiving nWo presents for their actions last week.  Our BCW Champion Ole Anderson should know a little about working quick after his actions last week.  Let's hear what he has to say.

Ole: "La Parka, MR. OH SO Great BCW star, first it was Arn, and now it was Ric and I.  We've outsmarted you and taken your title twice now.  So next week, I am giving you a chance to get the title back that Ric and I stole from you last week.  You think you can beat me?  We'll see... next week!"

There you have it fans, Ole thinks that La Parka is just another wrestler for the IV Horsemen to walk all over.  That's it for this edition of BCW Event Center.  Stay tuned for more BCW action.

Hey!  Bobby boy actually won a match!  Unfortunately, it was only against "El Lunchadore Generico" Lizmark.  But still.  That's a good thing.  Crazy Bob could use a few wins.

Excellent #1 Contender's match there, Rick.  I'm surprised it went that long.  Have you started booking match lengths without winners to try to get more high quality main and semi-main events?  Or do you have Force Interference on?  Or did it really go almost 40 minutes on its own?  Whichever it is, that's some great stuff right there.  Angle and Shammy just can't seem to catch a break lately.  Could there be a little trouble in paradise, perhaps?  I know it's been done before, but I'd love to see an Angle/Shamrock feud.

King Kong Bundy hits AAA Mosco De La Merced with the ham sandwich chomp.
Hah!  Best move ever!  Somebody has been using the signiture move plugin thingy.  Was that once a facebite, perhaps?  Good match, too.  I've used AAA Mosco before (although I knocked off everything but Mosco from his name to make it less cumbersome), and he's quite good, but Bundy really deserves the spot in the tourney.

Barry Windham is channeling Taz(z), apparently.  Hehe.  MercuryPlex.  B-Squared goes over him, though.

Good Storm v. Jericho match, but I'll admit that I expected better from two guys as good as they were.  These two should be tearing down the house with ****+ classics, not settling with solid above average work.

Insert joke about sending Ivan to the Gulag for no-showing here.

Orndorff escapes the Crossface but jobs to a clothesline.  Oops.  ;D

No more gold for the Horsemen!  Tatum and DeBeers take out Flair with absolutely no problem.  Poor Flair.  And poor viewing audience - we missed the most electrifying move in sports and entertainment, the Bionic Pout!  Also, DeBeers needs to start using the catchphrase "A diamond is forever!"  Just because.

but he's from nWo presents.. and their track record of wins and losses in BCW isn't so great. ;)

I book nothing except for the occasional outside interference (which hasn't been much lately thanks to TNM's doing it on it's own). And it was supposed to be a 30 minute time limit.. but my TNM calls its own audibles all the time, like Hebner extending the time limit to make this the first 5 star match in BCW history! :)

Hah! Best move ever! Somebody has been using the signiture move plugin thingy. Was that once a facebite, perhaps?
Yep it was the facebite.

Barry Windham is channeling Taz(z), apparently. Hehe. MercuryPlex. B-Squared goes over him, though.
Is THAT what that is? ;) I actually was supposed to have Barry nicknamed as "Big Bad" but somehow when I changed it yesterday his nick ended up as "Bid Bad" which I think I'm gonna stick with.

Insert joke about sending Ivan to the Gulag for no-showing here.
Nah let's just chalk that to "he was on a recruiting mission".

I could have sworn that Ole was still the BCW Champion and Ole is a Horseman. ;) Of course he still has to face La Parka on the next card. And I really do enjoy that Tatum and DeBeers have climbed the ladder of success after a year of jobbing as heels.

I think what Eric meant was they won't be adding "no more" gold to what they already have.

All in all, good card.  I was also expecting more from Jericho/Storm, but what a surprise in that 5 star tag match!

I'm looking foward to Three in a Row, I think it mat be Bundy's night to shine...or eat.   ;)
Rick GarrardPosted on 05/06/04 at 21:19:08

But we get a rematch as a qualifier from Jericho and Storm on Card #58!  :)

As far as Bundy goes, we'll see how good he really is in the Three In A Row in a couple cards.
