I've been using TNM for a while now, but I have never used the forum before.  My problem is that my TNM 7 3b will not install any of the plugins, besides the weight class one that just came out.  I really want to test out the TweakCirc SE, but TNM won't install it and all the plugin says after I unzip everything is that I need an updated version of the TNM7.  I already have the latest update.  I just want to be able to run these plugins, so if you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi SlimDogg and welcome :)

Please follow these steps:

1) Download a plugin.
2) Open the ZIP file in your favorite unzipping app.
3) Extract *all* files in the ZIP into the NEWPLUGS folder.
4) Run TNM to install them.

So far, so good.

To then RUN the plugins, either
1) Use the "Plugins" menu in the main menu,
2) Press the "p" key after you entered your circuit or
3) Use the "Plugin" button when scheduling a card.

Each plugin shows up somewhere else depending on its intended use.

I'm glad someone finally replied to my topic, but I don't know if you quite understood my problem.  I have unzipped everything to the NEWPLUGS folder and when I run my TNM and open the plugin menu (anywhere) it won't let me install any of the plugins because they are not listed in the menu.  Do you think possibly that I will have unistall and start over to get it to work?

Actually, when you start up your TNM after putting new plugins in the NEWPLUGS folder, it will *automatically* install the plugins.

The "Plugins" menu is just there for maintenance and for running plugins.

If TNM doesn't automatically install the plugins, something is wrong with the contents of the NEWPLUGS folder.

Could you please verify that...

a) all plugins have actually been extracted (there has to be at least an .INF and an .EXE file for every plugin) - TNM can't install ZIP files,
b) that these files are sitting right inside the NEWPLUGS folder (and not in a subfolder)?

Please let me knwo.
