I need a song suggestion for "Teen Phenom" Ken Doane... any ideas?

I've read your stuff for a while, but I'm not sure that I totally grasp your vision for Ken.  A "Teen Phenom" could have a variety of gimmick connotations that I can see a half dozen songs for different reasons.

Right now (and this is a bit ahead of what is posted on the forums) he is leading more toward what apparently his real life behavior is and that of the young cocky punk.  Still a face, but he keeps treating people disrespectfully, pulling opponents shoulders off the mat to beat on them more, etc.

I'm having the same problem you are because I'm not entirely sure where he's headed yet other than main event somewhere waaaaaaaay down the line.

How about "Remember The Name" by Fort Minor. Its basically about a young man trying to live his dream to be a big star. (TNT is using it as the theme for the NBA playoffs)

I can send you a copy if you want.

I already have that song, and that's actually not a bad idea.  Thank you sir.  Hadn't thought of it.

One of the thoughtlines around that type of persona was a song my wife plays far too often in the car.  Rob Thomas's "This is how a Heart Breaks"  an upbeat tune and somewhat of a next generation HBK type of attitude comes to mind.

Or the Black Eyed Peas song "Pump it" has that cockey feel to it as well with the Pulp Fiction remix to it.  both are relitivly new tunes as well radio wise.

My suggestions...

***Smashing Pumpkins- Bullet With Butterfly Wings
***Billy Talent- Try Honesty
***Billy Talent- This is How it Goes

smashing pumpkins is prolly best fit

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, but I have made a decision.

Ken Doane is using "Lapdance" by N.E.R.D. for the moment.  I hadn't thought of it until it randomly popped up on my playlist and it works perfectly, so booya.
