Match #1
"The Blueprint" Matt Morgan (w/ "Ravishing" Rob Conway) vs. Danny Basham (w/ Doug Basham & Shaniqua)
We started off this week's High Voltage with a singles match featuring two men who are parts of two of the better tag teams in GCW, Matt Morgan and Danny Basham. Danny Basham looked lost in the ring, trying to figure out exactly how to take down a man who is 7'2" and weighs 320 pounds. Nothing Danny did seemed to be working. The Bashams even tried the double switch, but Star Quality caught on when Morgan caught the entering Doug Basham with a big boot to the face and Rob Conway tossed Danny Basham back in the ring. The Choke Slam was next and Matt Morgan had the win.

Matt Morgan pinned Danny Basham with the Choke Slam in 0:06:18.
Rating: ***

Match #2
Booker T/Goldust (w/ Sharmell) vs. Damian 666/Halloween (unsigned)
Global Championship Wrestling is continually giving new talent the opportunity to wrestle and potentially earn a contract, and tonight was no exception as lucha stars Damian 666 and Halloween came in to wrestle the top contenders for the World Tag Team Titles, Booker T and Goldust. Damian and Halloween are veterans and have competed all over the world and as such were not at all overwhelmed or intimidated. However, you'd be hard pressed to find any team in the world right now that's firing on all cylinders as much as Booker and Goldust, who captured victory after Goldust hit the Curtain Call on Damian while Booker took care of Halloween with the Axe Kick and made the pin.

Booker T and Goldust defeated Halloween and Damian 666 when Booker pinned Halloween with the Axe Kick in 0:06:55.
Rating: *** 1/2

Match #3
MAIN EVENT
Paul London/"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles vs. "The Amazing" Red/"The Notorious K.I.D." Kid Kash
We had a big main event for tonight's High Voltage with Paul London and AJ Styles teaming up to take on two of the men they have had all kinds of problems with recently, Red and Kid Kash. This wasn't the best match we've ever seen from a crispness standpoint, but the animosity that exists between these men led to a match where all four men took some crazy risks that went a long way to pop the crowd. All four men showed they could take a beating though, because many of these crazy risks hit the mark, but no one could seem to find the move that would put the other team away. That was until Kash punctuated a great counter exchange by catching Styles with a leaping swinging DDT that almost drove the Phenomenal One's head through the mat. Red caught London with a spinning leg lariat to cut him off and Kash got a successful pin on Styles.

Kid Kash and Red defeated AJ Styles and Paul London when Kash pinned Styles after a leaping swinging DDT in 0:12:52.
Rating: *** 1/4

Though it's not their normal style as of late, you have to give Kash and Red credit as this was a completely clean victory. Styles and London took the loss in stride though, as they know just how talented their opponents are. This issue isn't done yet though - not by a long shot.

Star Quality keeps on trucking.  Bashams seem to be losing something, but I guess you gotta give tit-for-tat.  hee hee... i said tit... anyway...

Like the special appearance by Damian & Halloween.  They weren't going to win, but it's a respectable loss for them in their guest appearance.  Booker & Goldust need the momentum right now anyway.

Great cap to High Voltage.  As I've said before I'm digging your cruiserewight division a lot.  I think you'd be hard pressed to find 6 other guys that would mesh in these positions as well as the 6 you have do right now.

Great stuff.
