Format is a little different.  More condensed.  It'll help me get them out faster for the time being with everything else going on in my life.  So if you don't like it compared to before, deal with it weiners :)

Welcome once again to GLWF Action TV!  We're here at the GLWF facilities in Kalamazoo, Michigan for what should be a great night of action.  Tonight we'll showcase three big matches as Ron Killings makes his second GLWF appearance facing Austin Aries, Rene Dupree & Ernest Miller face the Destruction Crew in a re-match for the GLWF title, and Samoa Joe will once again be on the opposite side of the ring from Heavyweight champion Michael Shane.

Austin Aries vs. Ron Killings

Aries took an early advantage by attacking Killings before the bell.  He obviously felt that he had something to prove by shutting down Killings so early in Ron's GLWF career.  Aries stayed on Killings, but maybe not with the intensity that he should have as Killings found an opening in Aries' offense and turned the tables with a pair of japanese armdrag takedowns and a jumping side kick.  Aries stayed in the match though, but couldn't get an opening of his own to regain control.  He was trying like hell and that was apparent, but just couldn't make it happen.  Killings sent Aries chest first into the corner and when Aries stumbled back Killings bounced off the ropes and hit a big flying forearm.

Ron Killings pinned Austin Aries after a forearm smash in 0:06:21.
Rating: ** 1/2

After Killings had left Aries was still in the ring, obviously upset about his loss.   Not as upset as Michael Shane seemed when he walked down the aisle to no music or fanfare.  He slid into the ring and gave Aries a verbal lashing sans microphone and says Aries had better shape up because the Age of Shane doesn't accept failure.

RE-MATCH FOR THE GREAT LAKES TAG TEAM TITLES: Rene Dupree & Ernest Miller vs. The Destruction Crew (c)

Dupree & Miller did their homework since last week.  They looked a lot better against the tag team champions, though they still fell to many tandem moves as week by week the Destruction Crew keeps working better and better as a team.  Dupree & Miller however... not so much.  They still argue a bit and get distracted easily, but when they're on, they aren't half bad.  Miller & Dupree couldn't match the power of Lashley and Toland as a unit, but they had cheating on their side and pushed the envelope as much as they could without getting DQed, after all, they wanted those titles.  And those are some nice titles.  The Destruction Crew looked like they might lose their titles when they started getting frusterated that they couldn't roll right through their opponents, but once they regained composure they had it in the bag.  After a miscomunication from Miller 7 Dupree Tank hit the Tank Turret and got the pinfall.

[RE-MATCH]:
The Destruction Crew (Bobby Lashley and Tank Toland) defeated Rene Dupree and Ernest Miller when Tank pinned E. Miller with the Tank Turret in 0:15:15.
Rating: **
(The Destruction Crew retained the Great Lakes Tag Team titles.)

MAIN EVENT FOR THE GREAT LAKES HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: Samoa Joe vs. Michael Shane (c)

This match was just one word: great.  Both wrestlers showed a lot of heart and Michael Shane spent a lot of time playing the catch up game and Joe seemed to be a step ahead of Shane.  The title has eluded Joe several times here in GLWF and he didn't want to add another instance to that list.  It was amazing some of the stuff that Shane kicked out of and inturn, it was amazing that Joe was able to fight back after interference from Traci Brooks and cheating from Shane.  It was obvious the wrestlers were giving it their all, literally.  Where they continued to get their second and even third wind from is a mystery.  Shane fought his way out of a muscle buster and took Joe down with a boot and a facebuster.  He went up top for the picture perfect elbow, but Joe rolled away at the last second!  Both men were down and seemed hurt.  Out from the back comes Austin Aries with a chair!  Traci Brooks distracts the ref as Aries slides in and waits for Joe to get to his feet... and here comes Burchill!  Paul slides in and grabs the chair away from Aries and throws it out of the ring!  Aries, wanting no part of Paul Burchill gets out of the ring and Joe is now on his feet.  He can't believe that Burchill saved him.  Burchill extends his hand... and Joe shakes it... but Burchill pulls Joe in!  C4!  C4 on Samoa Joe!  That's an amazing move by itself, but to hit it on someone the size of Samoa Joe!  Shane gets to his feet, climbs the ropes... Picture Perfect Elbow!  One!  Two!  Three!!

[MAIN EVENT]:
Michael Shane pinned Samoa Joe with the Picture Perfect Elbow in 0:38:42.
Rating: *****
(Michael Shane retained the Great Lakes Heavyweight title.)
[Traci Brooks interfered against Samoa Joe.]
[Paul Burchill interfered against Samoa Joe.]

What a night and what a main event!  It looked like Burchill was going to save Joe and that Joe was finally going to win the title many say he should have won from the start, but Burchill, after a show of supposed friendship screwed Joe over!  Next week we'll have some more great matches lined up for you.  Sonny Siaki takes on Harry Smith, Tyson Dux takes on Shannon Moore, and we'll have two big co-main events as Raven and H.B. Cade face off in a steel cage and Bryan Danielson takes on Doug Williams in a 2-out-of-3 falls match.  Plus we'll here from Ron Killings and maybe we'll find out exactly what the hell is going on with Paul Burchill!

Killings wins as he should have, but Shane not taking too kindly to Aries' losing ways.  Aries will turn things around.  Or he'll go work an ROH show in 2 feet of snow.  Tada!

!!!!!  Destruction Crew, those ARE some nice titles! :)

Great great great main event.  The best match in GLWF to date.  A great match throughout, and an unexpected swerve helped seal it.  Now is Burchill with the Age of Shane or is he just pissed at Joe?  I'm excited about where this will go.  Good job, mein Freund.
