Card Multiplier/Injury Bug!

DominusPosted on 06/15/05 at 12:04:53

Ok I just back into running my league, & I noticed that Sid Vicious was quiting.  Well he had one card left....  And I use my Card Multiplyer for one card =  one month.  So in December I ran 1 card & in January I would run 2 cards....

Well I ran my December card & then Sid's status said Last Card... I changed my Card Multiplyer to 2.

Andre the Giant had 42 Cards left before I ran any cards in January.

So I run my first January Card.  And after Andre still has 42 Cards left but Sid is now GONE!  Shouldn't he still have been around till TNM deducted another card off everyone's Contract???

And Sid isn't the only case!  Ricky Steamboat was Injured for 2 Cards before I ran the 1st January show & now he's back in 1 Card!  And really he should still be gone for 2 more Cards or in my case 2 months.
If my card Multiplier was on 2, then there should be no changes in contracts or Injuries till after I ran 2 cards, right?????   Because none of the other wrestlers contracts decreased, but the Injuries & the wrestlers that were quiting did!

I even ran a test circuit & put a few guys to LAST CARD Status & then a few Injuried!  Then put the Card Multiplier to 10!  Well then I should be able to run 10 cards before those wrestlers are officially done & before anyone returns from an injury or even starts to heal from injury....  But it didn't work out that way.

Ok upon further testing in the league with the 10 Card Multiplyer it didn't reduce any injuries or cards after!  All the wrestlers with 1 Card left, still had 1 Card left till the end of the first 10 Cards... But then on the 11th card when it said FINAL CARD.  They left right after, when really they should have stayed till the 20th Card shouldn't they have?

Not really sure what was going on, but look at this bug I found while doing it:
\

3-Man Battle Royal:
Billy Graham won a 3-man Royal Rumble:
x Andre and Bigelow started out.
x Andre threw out Bigelow in 0:01:35
x Billy Graham entered at 0:02:00
x Andre threw out B. Graham in 0:04:06
Rating: ** 1/4
[Bobby Heenan interfered against Billy Graham.]

3-Man Battle Royal:
Vader won a 3-man Royal Rumble:
x Andre and Anderson started out.
x Andre threw out Anderson after a bodyslam in 0:00:24
        x Vader entered at 0:02:00
x Andre threw out Vader in 0:03:40
Rating: * 3/4
[Bobby Heenan interfered against Vader.]
Thought it might be a bug with someone interfering against the last person thrown out, and it made them the winner, but this one didn't do that:

3-Man Battle Royal:
Vader won a 3-man Royal Rumble:
x Andre and Bigelow started out.
x Andre threw out Bigelow in 0:00:30
        x Vader entered at 0:02:00
x Vader threw out Andre after a swinging punch in 0:03:38
Rating: **
[Jim Cornette interfered against Andre the Giant.]
Not sure what that was about, but I doubt people run 3 Man Royal Rumbles, for it to ever be a big problem....   Unless it'll do this with the bigger Royal Rumbles...  Or maybe Heenan just has a golden touch! hehe, Everyone he interferes with seems to win, even when they don't!

Dominus - if it says "last card", it MEANS it, regardless of the card multiplier. That's because the wrestler is flagged as leaving and then automatically put back onto the free market.

I'll dig into the bug you found. Thank you!
