Match #1
Non-Title Match
"The Alpha Male" Monty Brown (North American champion) vs. Justin Credible
Our opening match for High Voltage this week was originally scheduled to be a North American Title match pitting the champion Monty Brown against challenger Justin Credible. However, before the show, we learned that Credible actually turned down the North American Title shot, saying all he wanted was the Cruiserweight Title. Yes, he has officially lost his mind. It's no matter though, as title match or not, Brown was like a freight train and blew right through Credible, putting him down with a running powerslam. A good win for Brown as he prepares for Eddie Guerrero in one week's time.

Monty Brown pinned Justin Credible after a running powerslam in 0:04:02.
Rating: ***

Match #2
Rob Conway vs. Goldust (w/ Booker T)
Goldust made a rare appearance in singles competition tonight by taking on Rob Conway. This was a very even match, but Conway looked to be pulling away in the latter stages as he has been wrestling in singles match more often than Goldust has in recent weeks. Goldust has Booker T down with him at ringside, but the last thing Booker seemed interested in doing was helping out the cause. Goldust called for help from his tag team partner, but Booker pretended not to hear him, leading to the Ego Trip and a win for Conway. The trouble in paradise for Goldust and Booker T continue.

Rob Conway pinned Goldust with the Ego Trip in 0:07:59.
Rating: ***

Match #3
Jeff Hardy (w/ Lita) vs. Abyss (w/ Shaniqua & Lamont)
Jeff Hardy sure showed a lot of guts in signing on for this match with Abyss tonight as in recent weeks, Abyss has been an equal opportunity ass kicker. To his credit, Jeff Hardy took the fight straight to Abyss, despite the huge disadvantage in size and strength facing him. Hardy is willing to put his body on the line, sometimes foolishly. It worked to a degree, but once Abyss got a hold of him, it was all over. One Black Hole Slam and that was the end.

Abyss pinned Jeff Hardy with the Black Hole Slam in 0:04:38.
Rating: ***

Once again, Abyss was getting more cheers than boos, to which he thoroughly enjoyed, once again leading Shaniqua into a frenzy. If Shaniqua doesn't want the fans cheering for Abyss, she's going to have to do something, because with every week he is gaining more and more popularity.

Match #4
MAIN EVENT
Television Title Match
"Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels (c) (w/ Daffney) vs. Matt Hardy (w/ Lita)
Though Jeff Hardy didn't have too much luck tonight in his match, his brother Matt had a huge opportunity as he wrestled Christopher Daniels for the Television Title. Daniels has a huge test ahead of him in the form of Rhyno at Winter Warfare, but he didn't let that break his concentration. The Prophecy is a lot of things, but unprepared is not one of them. However, no amount of preparation could have had Daniels ready for what happened in this one, as it was a complete freak accident. After a great main event match, Hardy missed a flying legdrop attempt that may have put the Fallen Angel away. Daniels came to his senses and hit the Last Rites, but when he did so, you could tell something was wrong with his left arm. Daniels draped a right arm over Hardy that got him the win, but he was in a ton of pain.

Christopher Daniels pinned Matt Hardy with the Last Rites in 0:10:00.
Christopher Daniels tore his left triceps. He will be out for approximately 6 months.
Rating: ****
(Christopher Daniels retained the GCW Television Title.)

After consulting with the medical staff and head trainer Barry Tarver, we have ben told that Christopher Daniels suffered a tear in his left triceps that will require surgery. Matt Hardy had this injury last April and it kept him out of action for three months, and Red is currently out with the same injury and hasn't been seen since October, so this injury looks to be a serious one that will keep Daniels out of the ring for some time. The question is what will become of the Television Title? Tommy Dreamer is looking into it and we should have a decision by tomorrow night.

good win for Brown.  Credible wants to be in the cruiserweight division anyway. :)

Damn you Booker T!  When will you recognize true love?!  At least it was a loss to Conway.  I like the Con-way.

Hmmmm... Jeff Hardy who is 58lbs. and as floppy as a wet noodle... versus Abyss... hmmm... wonder who will win... ;)

Daniels keep the title but at a price!  Ouch!  That's a loss you're gonna be feeling the entire time he's gone.  Yes Tommy Dreamer... what will become of the Television title indeed... :)
