Match #1
Shark Boy vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles
We started out this edition of High Voltage with some action that was certain to be fast from the get-go with the cult favorite Shark Boy taking on "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. Styles has been giving Cruiserweight champion Paul London a lot of focus recently, but he didn't let his impending issue with London take him out of this match. Shark Boy has a lot of heart, but at this point in their careers, Styles is in another league. Styles has the skills to be a future World champion and outclassed the Man from he Sea tonight, finishing it off with the Styles Clash.

AJ Styles pinned Shark Boy with the Styles Clash in 0:03:58.
Rating: *** 3/4

A good victory for Styles, who is on a collision course with Paul London. It looks as if Styles is reconsidering his stance on not wrestling as a cruiserweight, especially with his entrance into Cruiserweight Chaos 2.

Match #2
Abyss (w/ Shaniqua) vs. C.W. Anderson
Abyss has been very confused lately as some of his recent actions, most notably coming out to take on John Bradshaw Layfield in an impromptu match, have resulted in the crowd cheering him. Abyss hasn't known what to do with it, but one thing for sure is that Abyss' keeper, Shaniqua, wants no part of it, feeling it is making Abyss week. Abyss is now a part of JBL's Cabinet (although who knows what position he could fill in a Cabinet), and Shaniqua was looking to keep Abyss aggressive as he had a match against the unsigned C.W. Anderson. Anderson did all he could, using all of his old school tactics he could muster, but Abyss is a scary scary individual, especially when Shaniqua has him motivated. This match went about 4 minutes longer than it should have as Abyss toyed with his prey before nailing the Black Hole Slam and picking up the win.

Abyss pinned C.W. Anderson with the Black Hole Slam in 0:06:30.
Rating: ** 1/4

After the match, Abyss received quite a bit of cheers from the fans, and he looked as if he was enjoying them, but Shaniqua quickly silenced his thoughts with a hard slap in the face and then dragged the big man to the back.

Match #3
MAIN EVENT
The Hurricane vs. Steve "Who's Your Daddy?" Bradley
Our main event for the evening pitted everyone's favorite superhero, The Hurricane, against perhaps the downright most miserable man in Global Championship Wrestling, Steve Bradley. The Hurricane has shown time and time again that he'll go toe-to-toe with anyone in GCW, but at Best of the Best, Bradley showed a vicious side that we had never seen from him before, battering Chris Benoit with his trusty baseball bat Mofo. The Man In Green put up a great fight, once again showing that he'll never quit, but Bradley was too brutal and eventually Hurricane couldn't really defend himself. This left him prone to the Smashmouth, and Bradley gets a dominating win.

Steve Bradley pinned The Hurricane with the Smashmouth in 0:07:22.
Rating: ****

Bradley was mean before, but it looks like that last string in him has finally snapped and he's ready to take it to the next level. There are rumors that another match with Chris Benoit is on the horizon, and with Bradley like this, it might be too much even for Benoit.

Of course Styles wins.  He's the force that looks like might take down London.  Plus Shark Boy makes great fodder. :)

Hurray for C.W. Anderson appearance!  That's someone I'd like to see on the main roster.  I dunno why, but I've always liked the C.W. for some reason.

I'm surprised Hurricane lasted as long as he did.  Now Bradley is up for a bit of the ultra-violence with his droog Mofo (now there's a reference!:D) With the mention of a re-match with Benoit... I'd not want to be Benoit right now.  I don't think he can go over him in a re-match.  It feels like it's Bradley's time to me.

Good shtuff wrestle-buddy

Styles comes out on top as expected. No love for Shark Boy though in the squash. Lot of heart = got beat up. I'm looking forward to the Styles/London feud.

ABYSS! Meh for C.W., but he's a good guy to have Abyss completely destroy. And Shaniqua needs a Black Hole Slam. Free Abyss!

Bradley goes up another level. Sounds good. A good convincing win over Hurricane in between murdering Benoit with Mofo.
