Match #1
The Hurricane vs. Billy Kidman
We started off this week's High Voltage with great cruiserweight action featuring two men who are always in contention for the Cruiserweight Title, The Hurricane and Billy Kidman. These two came into this match knowing that a victory would help boost them up the rankings, especially Kidman who from all accounts won't let his bitterness (and dare I say jealousy) toward Cruiserweight champion Paul London subside. Kidman was the aggressor, but he was too aggressive, going for the Shooting Star Press far too early in the contest. The Man In Green capitalized, and walked out of High Voltage with a win.

The Hurricane pinned Billy Kidman with the Eye Of The Hurricane in 0:06:03.
Rating: **** 1/4

Match #2
Booker T/Goldust vs. David Young/Todd Sexton
The Booker T/Goldust partnership has been shaky at best since Goldust's win over Booker forced the pairing, but it looks like Booker T is finally starting to make the best out of a bad situation and is trying to make this team work. They had their chance to pick up their first win as a unit over David Young and Todd Sexton, two competitors from the NWA Wildside promotion. Though Goldust tried to direct the match, Booker T took matters into his own hands and dominated in this contest, eventually putting Young down with the Axe Kick.

Booker T and Goldust defeated David Young and Todd Sexton when Booker pinned D. Young with the Axe Kick in 0:05:37.
Rating: *** 1/2

Match #3
The World's Greatest Tag Team vs. The Italian Stallions
Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas are looking to get another crack at becoming World Tag Team champions, but thus far have not gotten a clear answer from either GCW management or Low-Ki and Elix Skipper themselves about when that will happen. One thing that the World's Greatest Tag Team keeps doing is winning matches though, and tonight would be no different as they took on the Italian Stallions. Chuck Palumbo and Mark Jindrak started off well in GCW, but as of late they have really hit the wall. Crisp tag team wrestling helps WGTT pick up another win and help support their case for becoming the next #1 contenders.

The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin) defeated The Italian Stallions (Chuck Palumbo and Mark Jindrak) when C. Haas made Jindrak submit to the Haas of Pain in 0:08:50.

Match #4
MAIN EVENT
Non-Title Match
Paul London (Cruiserweight champion) vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles
This is a match that is easily pay-per-view worthy, but we were lucky to see it as our main event with Paul London, the reigning Cruiserweight champion, taking on AJ Styles in a non-title match. Back in April during the Cruiserweight Title Tournament, Styles made it apparent that in all his arrogant wisdom, he felt the Cruiserweight Title was beneath him, which may explain why this match was a non-title contest. Regardless of those particulars, this match was what we expected from these two young and incredible superstars. There are many people who will say that London and Styles are two of the men who will be on top of this business in the coming years, and matches like these go a long way to show that. These two are so adept at counter wrestling and chain wrestling. They can fly. They can brawl. In fact, it's hard to find anything that they can't do. This match could have went either way, but the tide changed late when London went for a superplex after crotching Styles on the top. The Phenomenal One fought out of it though and sent London face first to the match with a front-layout suplex. Styles hit the amazing spiral tap soon after, and picked up a huge win on High Voltage.

AJ Styles pinned Paul London after a spiral tap in 0:12:53.
Rating: *** 3/4

*marks the fug out for Bookerdust*

WGTT gets the win.  Good for them.  They need a head of steam to face Skipper & Ki for the tag belts.  Something tells me that Haas & Benjamin will really have to work to snag the titles away.

AJ with a non-title won over London?  Hey, listen

*puts hand up to ear in Hogan-esque fashion*

Here that?

*silence*

... it's the winds of change. :)
