* * * * *

[We come on the air for High Voltage with Marcos and Dunn, the Ring Crew Express, standing in the ring.]

M: There's been a lot of questions lately about who the best team in Global Championship Wrestling is. I don't even see how there could be any question! You wanna know who the best tag team in GCW is?

D: You're looking at 'em!

M: Because I'm Marcos...

D: And I'm Dunn...

M: And we're not gonna take it... any more!

[Marcos and Dunn do a little head bang routine, but they are cut off when "You're The Best Around" plays (yes, the song from The Karate Kid), bringing out the Italian Stallions. Mark Jindrak seems embarrassed to be coming down to this music, and rightfully so, but Chuck Palumbo is as excited as they come. The Stallions enter the ring and the match is on.]

Match #1
The Ring Crew Express vs. The Italian Stallions
The Ring Crew Express came into this Halloween edition of High Voltage fired up and ready to go, but they were just a little more than outmatched against the far bigger Italian Stallions. Though the Stallions are usually as goofy as they come (well, Chuck Palumbo anyway), they had their game faces on tonight. As a result, the Stallions absolutely tore through the RCE, easily finishing them off after hitting Dunn with the Trojan Horse.

The Italian Stallions (Chuck Palumbo and Mark Jindrak) defeated The Ring Crew Express Dunn and Marcos) when Jindrak pinned Dunn after the Trojan Horse in 0:01:00.
Rating: ** 1/4

Whatever Jindrak said to Palumbo, it worked, as Palumbo was focused tonight. The Stallions take another step toward becoming an elite team in GCW.

Match #2
Shark Boy vs. The Amazing Red
We had cruiserweight action next, and we thought it was going to be a great one as Shark Boy took on The Amazing Red. However, sometimes freak things happen, and that's exactly what took place in this one. After the bell rang, Shark Boy and Red locked up and began a quick-paced chain wrestling sequence. Red went for a legsweep and planted his arms on the mat to do so. When he did so, he planted his left arm awkwardly. Red screamed in pain and immediately clutched his arm. Referee Antonio Santangelo threw up the "X" and declared this match a no contest.

Red and Shark Boy battled to a no contest in 0:00:29.
Red tore his left triceps. He will be out for approximately 5 months.
Rating: *

Barry Tarver and the medical staff rushed down and tended to Red, who was obviously in all kinds of pain. Red was helped to the back, and we found out later that Red suffered a tear in his left triceps muscle and it looks like he will be out of action for around five months. With Justin Credible's attack on Tommy Dreamer and now Red's injury, it looks like this is the end for the Revolution.

Match #3
Rob Conway/Nick Dinsmore vs. Low-Ki/"Primetime" Elix Skipper
We had a tag team match next to bring the crowd back after the injury to Red, and it was a good one as Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore took on Low-Ki and "Primetime" Elix Skipper. With the tag team division as hot as it is right now, every one of these matches count, with every win being crucial and every loss being crippling. Conway and Dinsmore have been on quite a roll as of late, while Low-Ki and Skipper could really use a big win here. They're both highly talented wrestlers, Low-Ki even being a former Cruiserweight champion, but since the disbanding of Triple X, they haven't been able to put it all together in either singles or in tag matches. I'm not exactly sure what it was, but Skipper and Low-Ki could do no wrong tonight. They did something that very few teams can do, and that's frustrate Conway and Dinsmore early on. Conway and Dinsmore are about as cool-headed as you're going to find, but they were completely thrown off their game. No matter what they did, Low-Ki and Skipper had an answer for it, eventually leading to Skipper hitting the Play of the Day to pick up the win.

Elix Skipper and Low-Ki defeated Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore when Skipper pinned N. Dinsmore with the Play Of The Day in 0:08:46.
Rating: *** 1/4

With this victory, could Low-Ki and Elix Skipper be in the tag team mix now? It's a very strong possibility.

Match #4
MAIN EVENT
Chris Hero vs. Justin Credible
What a fantastic main event this was as Chris Hero took on Justin Credible. Credible hasn't made too many friends since returning to GCW from injury a month ago, and it didn't help his case after his brutal attack on Tommy Dreamer this past Monday on Explosion. Hero has looked impressive in GCW, really impressing many of the higher ups with his work ethic and skills. Hero can give anyone on the roster a run for their money, and that's exactly what he did with Justin Credible. Credible got all he could handle and then some, as Hero brought his A-game to High Voltage this week. Credible was on the ball as well, hitting a lot of his signature moves but being unable to put Hero away. Hero looked like he was going to pull out the big win, but when he went for the Hero's Welcome, Credible slipped out of it, caught Hero with a stick kick, and hit the That's Incredible. You're going to be hard pressed to find somebody who's going to kick out of that.

Justin Credible pinned Chris Hero with the That's Incredible in 0:12:29.
Rating: **** 1/4

Chris Hero put up a great fight, and with one break the other way, he could be the one with his hand raised. However, it is Justin Credible who is going to the winner's circle on this night.

GCW will be cruising into Des Moines tomorrow night for Monday Night Explosion, highlighted by Kurt Angle defending the World Heavyweight Title against the winner of the Election Special vote! Could a new champion be in the cards? Tune in tomorrow to find out!

Red injures his own arm while squatting down for a sweep?  He is never going to live that down :)

The Karate Kid music made my night.

Anxious to see how Angle faces tomorrow
