Not a valid export...

americamamushiPosted on 06/22/05 at 09:41:26

Alright.  My patience is being tested.  For some reason now when I try import something and am running TNM normally it closes right away.  When I mess with the compatibility I get a "Not a valid import" message...

... yet I'm using imports that have imported fine before.

Any ideas?

This problem has showed up before.  Try making a fresh install of TNM.  Does the problem occur there?  If not, backup your TNM, move it to the new install, restore the backup, then import the files you want.

If that doesn't solve the problem, contact Oliver at his hexacon email address.  He will hopefully be able to send you several versions of TNM compiled with different options until one works as expected.

I'm still using Build 3 because so many people seem to be having problems with 3b.

It actually didn't start until I installed a new instance of TNM, and now it's doing it on all of them (All of which have been 3b since 3b came out without having this problem).

I'll try installing an instance without updating it to 3b later and see if its fussy still.

EDIT: Installed an instance without 3b update and it imports them.  Good thing I don't think I'll needing to import anymore wrestlers into the ASWA's database i guess. :)

yeah I had the same error a week ago. I just didn't upgrade to build 3b and all is fine.
