We are LIVE inside the arena from Worcester, Mass., and a wolf's howl
signals the arrival of Kevin Nash and Scott Hall!  They take the ring and
Nash gets the stick, gets ready to speak, but then pitches it to Hall.  Hall
does the "Hey Yo" schtick, but then launches into a verbal assault on
Vampiro!  he says that he put the TV Title in the trash, because that's
where it belongs!  But then he decides that a trash can and around Vampiro's
waist is kind of the same.

Nash takes the mic and starts making matches:  Nash says that he'll meet
Jarrett one-on-one!  He announces that Sting & Hogan will be forced to team
up against Juventud Guerrera & Psicosis!  He signs Bret Hart vs Chris
Candido!  Then he says that at Spring Stampede, it'll only be a simple
effort for The Outsiders to run either Hart or Jarrett out of WCW once and
for all!

Match #1
Team 2000 vs David Flair & Crowbar w/Daffney

Super J started off with Crowbar, countering his offense with quick
reactions and countermoves.  David Flair came in to save Crowbar, but Chono
entered as well.  Chono began brutalizing Flair, getting help from Super J
in the process.  David hint an inverted atomic drop and got a small package,
but Chono kicked out.  Crowbar came in to help out, and the two of them put
Chono on the defensive.  Super J tagged in and went to work on David, but a
low kick put David Flair in the driver's seat.  David tagged out, but
Crowbar quickly got viciously taken down by a Team 2000 2-on-1!  Super J
backdropped Crowbar and hit an inverted DDT, then blasted him with a Diving
Clothesline as he got up!

Nile quickly staggered Duggan with an inverted atomic drop, and followed
suit with three big clotheslines!  Duggan ducked a clothesline and hit one
of his own, then scoop-slammed Nile and hit the Old Glory!  Nile barely
kicked out, but ol' Hacksaw hammered away at him until he attempted another
bodyslam...to which Nile countered with an elbow to the head!  A fisherman
suplex followed and wrapped up the win for Nile!

Match #3
The Wall vs Rey Misterio Jr.

The Wall tried to bully Rey at the start, but got a boot in the face!  Rey
tried to slug it out, but wised up and used The Wall's momentum to hit a
flying headscissors!  After much fighting and dodging, Rey finally took the
Wall down for a few moments by clipping his knee!  Taking advantage of The
Wall's prone position, he hit a springboard legdrop....then a springboard
dropkick...and then another springboard legdrop!  The Wall headbutted Rey
and went for a Gorilla Press, but Rey rolled out of his hands and hit a
bulldog on the way down!  A flying cross body press only got one, and Rey
stung him with a series of dropkicks!  Rey dodged a corner charge and hit a
springboard Thesz press, but ran into a clothesline!  Rey managed to take
Wall's leg back out and hit a ropeflip moonsault, and then drove him down
with a sitdown faceslam!  Rey got two and a half following a flying cross
body press, and the same came from a flying dropkick!  Rey used a
springboard dropkick to set up a springboard legdrop, then dropkicked the
knee out!  The Wall reached up and raked Rey's face, and then grabbed his

Match #4
Shane Helms, Evan Karagias & The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Iaukea
w/Paisley vs Sabu

Shane Helms had missed his flight, thus making this merely a handicap match,
as opposed to a Hardcore Title Match.  Sabu simply destroyed Evan after the
opening bell, but Evan tagged in Shannon and they double-teamed...for a few
moments.  Sabu then beat on Shannon, until he ran right into a Shannon
dropkick.  Shannon took over with a pair of Frankensteiners, but got blasted
with a spinning leg lariat.  Shannon managed to hit a slingshot splash and
he tagged in The Artist, who Sabu ripped apart and tossed to the floor!  An
Asai Moonsault nearly put TAFKAPI through a table and back in the ring Sabu
prevented the Paisley Spike with a stiff right!  Sabu went for a top-rope
Frankensteiner but got a Super bomb instead, and then the Paisley Spike!
Sabu managed to kick out, and then fought through a double team from The
Artist and Evan to stay in control!  The shocker came, though, when Shannon
and Evan blasted Sabu with a wicked double chairshot, and The Artist hit a
springboard twisting moonsault to score the three!

Scott Steiner made his way to the ring, and got on the mic!  He launched
into a tirade that had them bleeping as fast as he could, but then he calmed
down enough to get his point across.  He laid into Ric Flair, verbally, for
getting him suspended for speaking the truth and he said that if Flair's
"tired old wrinkled up ass" wanted to step into the ring with a real man
anytime soon, then they could do it right here on Nitro, at Spring Stampede,
whenever!  Then he called Luger's physique "an f*beep*ing joke", and said
that Luger would look like a stick-man next to Steiner.  He turned to
Rhodes, "another fat piece of sh-- just like his daddy", before talking
about how he's forgotten more about wrestling than that p*ssy Goldberg will
ever know!  The Horsemen stormed the ring, but Steiner was waiting and he
took them down one-by-one, even catching Goldberg with a spinning
belly-to-belly!  He gorilla pressed Flair, but Goldberg speared him!  DDP
and Bam Bam hit the ring to make the save, and Sid came in from behind!  He
waited for Goldberg to turn around a Chokeslammed him!  DDP and Steiner
exchanged a tense stare as we cut away.

Match #5
The KISS Army vs Norman Smiley & The Mamalukes

Johnny the Bull and King of Beasts put on a big display of power early on,
with Johnny starting to get the upper hand and Vito coming in to help
double-team.  A tag brought Vito in legal, but he was quickly caught with a
reverse neckbreaker.  The Demon and King of Beasts teamed up on Vito, but
that got Smiley in...and that drew Celestial in!  Order started to be
restored and a Vito superkick staggered King of Beasts to allow for a Smiley
flying bulldog, but KoB took it to the floor and battered Norman around.
The Celestial tagged in and he and KoB wore Norman down, but Norman hit a
pair of clotheslines and tagged Vito in!  Vito and Celestial went to the
floor, where Demon ambushed Vito!  However, Johnny the Bull and KoB got
involved, as did Norman!  Starbearer ran down and joined in, but got
attacked by Disco!  All eight men began brawling wildly!

The Mamalukes and Norman Smiley and KISS Army (King of Beasts, The Celestial
and The Demon) battled to a double countout in 0:08:38.

Match #6
Buff Bagwell vs Billy Kidman w/Torrie Wilson

Fast-paced opening saw both men trying to hit a clothesline, and Kidman
proved the winner of that exchange.  All pretense of wrestling flew out the
window as they slugged it out, with Kidman again getting the upperhand.
Bagwell started fighting back, only to get hit with a vertical facebuster
and a running lariat!  Chris Candido headed to the ring, and Buff took
control after countering a hiptoss with a hard lariat.  Buff dropped a big
elbow and celebrated, until Torrie tripped him!  Kidman hit a spinebuster
bomb and turned, just in time for Candido to toss him some brass knucks!  He
pasted Buff and hit the Shooting Star Press...but only got two and a half!
Bagwell shoulderblocked Kidman to the mat and danced around to show that he
was okay..but walked right into a spinebuster bomb to be pinned!

Billy Kidman pinned Buff Bagwell after a spinebuster bomb in 0:07:16.

Booker came out as Candido entered the ring, the momentary distraction
allowed Buff to slip down as Candido swung, causing Candido to nail Kidman!
Booker leveled Candido...and walked into a Buff Blockbuster!  Buff shoved
Candido into Kidman and left the ring!  We fade out on Candido and Kidman
coming to blows!

The Horsemen arrive to take over the show for a while!  Following the usual
sequence, AA says that Scott Steiner has bitten off just a little bit more
than he can chew by picking on THIS group of Horsemen!

Flair says that this Wednesday on Thunder, Scott Steiner gets to find out
what it means to walk the aisle against The Dirtiest Player in the Game!
Flair says that, unlike Steiner, he doesn't have to use anything to look
good and that, unlike Steiner, he doesn't have to pay for women!  Flair then
says that DDP and Bam Bam Bigelow can have a shot at greatness...against The
Horsemen at Spring Stampede for the tag team titles!

Luger tells Page to keep that "tramp Kim" at home, so that Liz doesn't
humiliate her as bad as he is going to humiliate Dallas.  He then tells
Scott Steiner to take a close look, as there's a huge difference between a
natural physical specimen and a manufactured waste of flesh.

Dustin Rhodes says he would rather be a fat piece of sh*t than a 'roided up
monster that slaps himself everytime he walks by a mirror, thinkin' he
looked at himself funny.  He tells Steiner to watch it, because these
Horsemen have killer instinct...killer instinct that past Horsemen have only
dreamed about.  Dustin humbly asserts that it would be no real loss of Scott
Steiner lived the rest of his life in a bodycast being spoon-fed jello by
his mentally deficient brother.

Goldberg tells Steiner that the only reason they never wrestled before was
that WCW was afraid Goldberg would cripple Steiner, and they didn't want a
lawsuit!  Goldberg invited Steiner to meet him out back after Nitro and they
could do it on their own time instead!  Then he told Sid Vicious that he
would pay for that choke-slam, and tonight was merely a step in the ultimate
decimation of Sid that would occur at Spring Stampede!

Match #7
Chris Candido w/Tammy Lynn Sytch vs Bret Hart

Candido started off with a basic offense, but Bret squelched that and sent
him outside! Jeff Jarrett made his way to the ring, and Candido dropkicked
Bret in the back and set up a Hotshot.  Candido got tripped by Jarrett,
which allowed Bret to recover first and prepare a superplex!  Candido & Hart
started trading shots, and Bret ran into a dropkick!  Chris hit a
clothesline and dropped an elbow, but Bret took him down with a dragon
screw!  Jeff Jarrett produced a cheese grater and threw it in, but it wound
up in Candido's hands!  He hit Bret....but only got two!  Bret managed to
recover enough to hit the Russian Legsweep and diving elbow, but Candido
used some solid brawling to regain control.  Jarrett rolled a baseball bat
in and ring and Candido pounced on it...but Bret jerked it away and smacked
him!  The action continued and even went to the floor once, but returned to
the ring.  Bret blocked the Blond Bombshell and applied the Sharpshooter,
but Candido got out.  Jarrett rolled in the ring with a guitar as Bret went
for the Russian Legsweep, and swung it at Candido's head!  Candido ducked,
though, and Jarrett shattered it over Bret's head!  Mickey Jay had no choice
but to call for the bell!

Bret Hart defeated Chris Candido by disqualification in 0:14:05.
Rating: ***

Match #8
Juventud Guerrera & Psicosis vs Hulk Hogan & Sting

Juvy and Sting started off, with Sting taking a quick upperhand and sending
him to the floor, where Hogan actually helped out.  Juvy hit a DDT that
Sting promptly no-sold, but a second trip to the floor introduced Sting to
some steel.  Sting blasted Juvy with a lariat and slapped Hogan on the
shoulder to tag out, and Hogan actually got taken over by Juvy!  Psicosis
and Juvy used some quick tags, and soon Hogan was being hit from all sides!
He didn't know which way to turn!  Psicosis even hit a big powerbomb, so
Hogan slid to the floor and slowed the match back down to take control.
Hogan nailed Juvy and tagged out, and Juvy quickly tagged Psicosis, but
Psicho got suplexed by Sting for coming in!  Sting dominated after
no-selling a bodyslam on the chair and hitting a pair of Stinger
Splashes...but when he went to tag Hogan...Hulk Hogan nailed him with a
baseball bat!  Psicosis landed the Flying Legdrop to score the HUGE upset!

Juventud Guerrera and Psicosis defeated Hulk Hogan and Sting when Psicosis
pinned Sting with the Flying Legdrop in 0:06:51.

Match #9: WCW Television Title Match
Scott Hall vs Vampiro

Hall attacked before the bell, but Vampiro countered with lefts and rights
and a chop that dropped Hall to his knees!  Vampiro's assault continued with
a flying spinning leg lariat that left Hall on his knees and begging for
mercy again, to which Vampiro responded by choking him!  A series of kicks
followed, and Hall couldn't even get a grip on Vamp, much less hit him.
Vamp clothesline Hall through the ropes and powerbombed him back in, then
used a jawbreaker to counter Hall's first big offensive move - a sleeper!  A
Hall bulldog gave him time to show off...but Vampiro recovered and series of
kicks set up the Vampiro Spike!  Hall kicked out, so Vamp responded by
standing on his throat!  then he hit a second Vampiro Spike and ended this
utter domination!!

Vampiro pinned Scott Hall with the Vampiro Spike in 0:07:12.
Rating: * 3/4

Match #10: WCW US Title Match
"The American Nightmare" Dustin Rhodes vs Booker

It didn't take Booker very long and he had already landed the 100th Street
Slam and he attempted the Missile Dropkick, but Rhodes sidestepped it.
Booker, however, remained on the offense!  A flying forearm opened up a pair
of hotshots, but a swinging neckbreaker squelched that.  Booker landed a
scissor kick and hit a flying forearm for a near fall.  Booker ducked a
flying clothesline and caught him with a powerslam, then hit the Missile
Dropkick for a VERY near fall!  They brawled in and out for a bit, until
Buff came out!  Booker quickly went to the floor after him and the two
brawled to the back!

Dustin Rhodes defeated Booker by countout in 0:09:23.
Rating: *
(Booker retained the WCW United States Title.)

Hogan came out and asked Sting how his head felt, and then told Sting that
the bat shot was a taste of Hollywood being unleashed!  He said that at
Spring Stampede Hollywood would come alive once more and destroy The
Stinger!  Sting made his way out of the back with his head bandaged and told
Hogan that Hollywood is the guy that ran from Sting for a year!  Sting then
said that there was no reason they had to wait until April 19th and Sting
took off to the ring, slightly wobbly and obviously hurt!  Hogan started
hammering on Sting and sent him in, landing the big boot!  He went for the
legdrop, but Sting moved!  He applied the Scorpion, but Curt Hennig ran in
and attacked Sting from behind!  Vampiro stormed the ring, though, and first
dropped Hennig with a roundhouse...but blasted Hogan with a superkick as
well!

meager offense, got powerbombed and pinned!

Match #12
Bill Goldberg, Dustin Rhodes & Ric Flair w/AA vs Diamond Dallas Page, Bam
Bam Bigelow & Sid Vicious w/Kimberly

Luger was conspicuously absent, although no one noticed as Sid and Goldberg
laid into each other!  Goldberg seemed quite dominant against Sid, until Bam
Bam tagged in and they double-teamed Goldberg.  Dustin Rhodes broke that up
and he and Goldberg paid Bam Bam back for that.  Rhodes hammered Bigelow
brutally, but when Goldberg tried to get in, Sid attacked and set Rhodes up
for a Bam Bam flying headbutt!  Rhodes dodged a Bam Bam splash and hit a
bulldog, and called Goldberg in.  This time it was DDP who intervened, as he
cleaned house on both heels!  Scott Steiner started to the ring as Bam Bam
sent Rhodes into the corner, but Dustin flew out with a bulldog again!
Rhodes and Bam Bam got into a slobberknocker of a slugfest, which Rhodes
won.  Rhodes took complete control, hitting DDTs and keeping Bam Bam on the
mat.  Bam Bam reversed a corner whip and hit an avalanche, though, and
tagged in Page.  Dallas ran right into a Rhodes dropkick, however, and then
got a pair of elbowsmashes!  Goldberg and Rhodes teamed up on Page and kept
him hurting, but Page recovered enough to keep giving Rhodes a real fight.
Dustin tagged in Flair, who walked right into Page's lefts and rights!  A
tag was made to Sid, who hit two straight choke slams!  Flair & Rhodes tried
to double-team, but he overpowered both of them and then planted Ric with a
big boot!  Flair finally moved the Sid fight to the floor, but Steiner
attacked from behind!  Flair hit Sid with a low blow, but hesitated too long
and got clotheslined down!  A hurting Sid managed to tag in Page, but Flair
used a thumb to the eye and a low blow to slow Dallas down!  Page charged
Flair and slammed shoulder first into the ringpost instead...and Flair
started taunting Steiner!  Steiner took a pot shot at Flair but Flair
stepped back, and got spun completely around and DDP hit the Diamond
Cutter!!!   Faster than anyone could think, it was over!!

The Four Horsemen (Bill Goldberg, Dustin Rhodes and Ric Flair) when Page

Must not have read the earlier shows....it's cool...=)

Sean P. Nile is Val Venis.

=(  You don't like the KISS Army?

On the Nitro after Uncensored, Sting and Hogan got into it, with Sting laying Hogan out with a ball bat.  The two are feuding, with this match being forced on them by Commissioner Nash.
Snabbit888Posted on 05/06/04 at 02:55:54

I'll go back and read them eventually... just wanted a good recent spot to start from.
