(WCW-SF) WCW Uncensored Pre-Game Show

DarkAndEvilBastardPosted on 05/03/04 at 05:15:55

(We're backstage with Mike Tenay, who's looking frantic!)

Tenay: Fans, we have changes afoot! if you haven't ordered Uncensored 2000
by now, I urge you to! I know that some of the scheduled wrestlers for
tonight's show have been released! Others are missing in action! We know
that Jeff Jarrett's here, but The Harris Boys are nowhere to be found! What
this means for nWo 2000 and their matches is uncertain!

(Jeff Jarrett walks up, "Slapnutz" t-shirt on and his kewl yellow tinted
sunglasses, with the silver guitar over his shoulder.)

Jarrett: What the Hell are you lookin' at, Slappy?

Tenay: Jeff, where are The Harris Boys? My sources are sayin--

Jarrett: Your sources don't say jack, Slapnuts! My back is covered tonight
against Sid, don't you worry!

(Jarrett storms off, leaving Tenay alone again.)

Tenay: Larry, Scott, take it away.

(We're inside a generic studio with an Uncensored 2000 backdrop, with Scott
Hudson and Larry Zbyszko seated at a desk. Hudson's in a suit and Larry's
in a polo shirt, probably not wearing any pants, either.)

Hudson: Thank you, Mike. Larry, Uncensored is only moments away, and we
need to run down the card. Our big main event is Jeff Jarrett vs Sid
Vicious for the WCW World Title!

Zbyszko: Well, Sid Vicious has been pinned by Jarrett three times now, and
Uncensored may make the fourth. However, Jarrett may have soled his soul to
the New World Order, but with The Harris Boys missing in action, what's that
worth now?

Hudson: If the Harris Boys don't arrive, Jarrett could see himself having
to face Sid alone...for the first time! This may be the end of the line for
the long-building Sid-Jarrett feud. Also upcoming at Uncensored is the
Yappapi Indian Strap Match between Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair! We have just
been informed that the WCW Executive Committee has made this match a #1
Contender's Match! The winner faces either Sid or Jarrett tomorrow on
Nitro!

Zbyszko: That just upped the ante in the ongoing war between Flair and
Hogan. Hulk Hogan is the greatest wrestler in wrestling history, and Ric
Flair has held the world title more times than anyone else, so both men
would love to get back into the ring for the World Title one more time.

Hudson: The Mamalukes will be defending the tag team titles tonight, against
The Harris Boys, if they ever arrive. This issue dates back to The Harris
Boys H-Bombing everyone and trying to make off with the tag titles. Disco's
interference led to The Mamalukes beating The Harris Boys on Nitro in a four
corners match. But this time, it's a head on tag match...

Zbyszko: IF The Harris Boys arrive...we could be looking at a free night for
The Mamalukes, otherwise.

Hudson: Sting and The Total Package are set to do battle tonight as well, in
a return match from Starrcade '99, when Luger broke Sting's arm and
fractured his skull. This match was originally slated to be a lumberjack
cast match, but with the changes from on-high, the match is being turned
into a no disqualification match!

Zbyszko: Well the whole baseball bat revolution started back in '96 when
Sting took to carrying one after his falling out with WCW, and since then
everyone's using them all over WCW...Lex and Sting both wield them, and in a
no-dq situation, bats and chairs could replace Torture Racks and Deathlocks.

Hudson: Booker & Kidman were scheduled to face Harlem Heat, but we
understand that's not going to be happening now. However, Booker and Kidman
are standing by with Mike Tenay.

(Tenay is backstage with Booker and Kidman, who has the lovely Torrie with
him in a not-there outfit.)

Tenay: I've just received word that Booker and Kidman, you two have been
added to the WCW World Tag Team Title Match, so that even if the Harris Boys
don't show, there will still be a tag title match!

Booker: Lemme tell you sumthin' straight up, Tenay...me an' Kidman have had
some problems, but tonight none 'o' that matters! We gonna go toe-to-toe
with those Mamalukes and we WILL become WCW World Tag Team Champions one
more time...now can you dig that?

Tenay: Billy? Got anything to add?

Kidman: This is a big opportunity, no doubt about it, and me and Booker have
shown that we have what it takes to beat The Marmadukes or whatever they're
called. I think they better shine those belts up, because there's gonna be
new World Tag Team Champions tonight!

(We go back to the studio.)

Hudson: That was a big announcement! The Harris Boys, The Mamalukes and
Booker & Kidman in a triangle match for the World Tag Team Titles! This
could be a big night for the young tandem...

Zbyszko: If they can get along. Torrie Wilson has, purposely or not, driven
a wedge between Booker & Kidman that's only being aggravated by things like
Kidman wasting his time on the floor with Torrie during their matches.
There's a time for women, and there's a time for wrestling.

Hudson: Dustin Rhodes is scheduled to continues the Rhodes-Funk war, this
time in a bullrope match! The tension has escalated over the past few
weeks, although Funk has been among those people who can only be called
question marks as the new executive committee settles into power.

Zbyszko: It would be a crime to rob WCW fans of this bullrope match after
the build-up it's seen, but all we can say about this situation is "wait and
see".

Hudson: Vampiro and Fit Finlay were signed to lock up in a
Falls-Count-Anywhere Respect Match, but Finlay has joined the list of
question marks in WCW today. Whether this situation will be cleared up
before we go on the air for Uncensored remains to be seen, but if we do see
Vampiro vs Fit Finlay, it will no doubt be a barn burner.

Zbyszko: Vampiro has been on a roll lately, with his near wins over
Jarrett, Luger and Flair, and I don't think he intends to come close to
beating Fit, I think Vampiro wants to end this and move on.

Hudson: Brian Knobs is scheduled to battle Three-Count in a Hardcore Title
gauntlet match, but Knobs is another MIA combatant. Will Three-Count have
the night off? Or will Knobs be here? Only time will tell.

Zbyszko: Three-Count are bad brawlers, terrible dancers and horrible
singers. The Hardcore division suits them when it's three on two, but when
Doug Dillenger and the Keystone Cops are holding the other two back, I think
the Three-Count Hardcore Hierarchy will fall.

Hudson: Student vs Teacher as The Wall battles Bam Bam Bigelow. Bam Bam is
fighting this fight on behalf of David Flair and Crowbar, who have been put
through tables by The Wall, Bam Bam's protege.

Zbyszko: Bam Bam told The Wall that this business isn't about hurting people
and taking away their livelihood. And with the knee injuries Bam Bam has
sustained, he knows what he's talking about. But he had best remember that
sometimes the student can surpass the teacher.

Hudson: The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Iaukea will defend the WCW
Cruiserweight Title against Psicosis, in what should be an excellent match.
Paisley will almost surely be at ringside, and Juventud Guerrera will
certainly be around as well.

Zbyszko: The Artist is a joke, pure and simple. He tries to play the human
Chess game, but he falls pathetically short, especially against a psycho
like Psicosis. I think we'll find that The Artist is just a sad little
Island boy playing a man's game.

Hudson: Norman Smiley and The Demon have had their problems recently with
Lane and Rave. Well at Uncensored, Demon and Smiley try to put their
differences behind them and go toe-to-toe with Lance and Rave.

Zbyszko: Lane and Rave are two odd fellows, Rave is looking like a chameleon
with all his personality changes, and while Smiley and Demon may think they
have patched up their differences, you never know when an old rivalry will
rear it's head once more.

Hudson: In addition, the WCW Television Title is on the line as The
Chairman of WCW La Parka meets TV Champion "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan.

Zbyszko: The chair vs the 2x4. La Parka has been on a hot streak, but
Duggan is on a roll as well, defending that belt week in and week out on WCW

Saturday night. Well this is Duggan's first Pay-Per-View title defense, and
we'll see how he fares against the biggest of the luchadors.

Hudson: Uncensored is moments way, if you haven't ordered now, I urge you
to do so! For Larry Zbyszko and Mike Tenay, I'm Scott Hudson, we're gonna
send it inside!

(A final Uncensored ad runs and the screen goes black.)

What?

Maybe you could even bring Sting and Raven in and try to re-kindle their feud. :)
