Alrighty, using Rick's new rules...the Universal Wrestling Federation begins!

Opening Match: Billy Kidman & Rey Misterio Jr. vs Matt Hardy & Christopher Daniels

Jimmy Kimmel counts:  5.
Rey Misterio Jr. hits Matt Hardy with flying headscissors.
Jimmy Kimmel counts:  6.
Rey Misterio Jr. knocks Matt Hardy into the ringpost.
Rey Misterio Jr. goes for the West Coast Pop, but Matt Hardy blocks it.
Jimmy Kimmel counts:  7.
Rey Misterio Jr. nails Matt Hardy with a slap.
Jimmy Kimmel counts:  8.
Rey Misterio Jr. throws Matt Hardy into the guardrail.

Billy Kidman comes over to make it two-on-one.

Low-Ki executes a Mongolian chop on Tajiri.
Low-Ki goes for a jumping front kick, but Tajiri ducks out of the way.
Tajiri goes for a Northern Lights suplex, but Low-Ki counters it with a DDT.
The crowd is booing Low-Ki.

- Good little match, as Tajiri wins a stiff battle.

Rob Van Dam vs Kane

Rob Van Dam pinned Kane with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:06:57.
Rating: ** 1/4

- I have no idea how Kane lost this match, as he basically sold NOTHING.

- Backstage, Shelton Benjamin bumps into Ron Simmons, making him drop his beer.  Benjamin jaws at Simmons and walks away, but Bradshaw shanghais him!  The APA put the boots to Shelton!

- Dean Malenko makes his way out for the next match, when Rhyno attacks him!  The two men started brawling in the back of the arena, and it was ON.

Rhyno clears the announcers' table.
Rhyno sets up Dean Malenko on the announcers' table.
Rhyno tries to drive Dean Malenko through the table with a power bomb, but he
blocks it.
Dean Malenko executes a forearm smash on Rhyno.
Dean Malenko is going for the cover.

The crowd is going crazy.

- The APA come out next, and Charlie Haas enters, telling the APA they made a BIG mistake.  Then the lights go out and the ringposts erupt in flames as KANE comes to the ring!

Kane gets a choke lift on Bradshaw.
Adam Carolla warns Kane to let go.
Adam Carolla counts: One, two, three.
Adam Carolla counts: One, two, three.

Kane gives the sign for the Choke Slam.
Kane executes the Choke Slam on Bradshaw.
Kane goes for the pin.
Adam Carolla counts: One, two, Ron Simmons doesn't make it in time... three.
Bradshaw complains about a fast count.

- Well, Kane held up his end, at least.

- The first of the three big matches is a disappointment as Booker T wipes out Cena with the Ax Kick!

Raven pinned Diamond Dallas Page after a powerslam in 0:02:20.

- Raven scores one for the bad guys, dropping DDP!

Sting pinned Mike Awesome with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:09:04.
Rating: ***

- Great brawl ends with Senior Official Drew Pinksky having to enter the fray when Engineer Anderson gets wiped out by Sting and Awesome.

Interesting group of guys.  The Kane thing vs the APA is interesting.  I'm looking forward to week #2.  :)

The rostr hiring was very "stream of consciousness"....=)  I was like, "hmmm, obviously I need Sting and..." before I knew it, I was done.

and Shelton Benjamin no-showing, well, that can always set up an angle, eh? =)
