ECW Hardcore TV
Date: July 11, 2006
Location: Philadelphia, PA

Interview:
[ECW Hardcore TV opens with Joey Styles standing in the middle of the ring with the crowd chanting "ECW, ECW." Joey waits for the crowd to settle down a bit before speaking.]

Joey Styles: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to ECW. I'm Joey Styles and tonight we open Hardcore TV with the reigning ECW World Champion Kurt Angle!

[The crowd boos as Kurt Angle walks out but he isn't alone. Following him are the ECW World Tag Team Champions, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, along with the returning Rhino!]

Joey Styles: What's the meaning of this anyways, Kurt? You're perhaps the greatest wrestler in the world today. Why do you need The World's Greatest Tag Team and Rhino to help you?

Kurt Angle: First off, Joey. What kind of grown man refers to himself as Joey? You're pathetic. Don't ask the questions. Get out of this ring and go back to the announce position and do what you do best and that's call play by play. Get out!

[Joey Styles goes to leave the ring but when Kurt Angle turns his back to him he gives the middle finger. The crowd cheers that and Kurt Angle turns around to see what they are cheering about but Joey has already gone towards the announce position.]

Kurt Angle: Not only that...Joey...but there is no arguing that I am the greatest wrestler in the world today. Standing before you is the greatest collection of athletes you have ever seen. You have Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, the ECW World Tag Team Champions. They are what they say they are and that is The World's Greatest Tag Team. I'm proud of you guys. The both of you personify what Team Angle is all about: Intelligence, Integrity, and Intensity. Then we have Rhino. I am The Wrestling Machine but this man is an absolute War Machine. Rob Van Dam, you you know all about Rhino after last week, don't you?

[The crowd boos while Kurt Angle and Rhino laugh. Kurt Angle hands Rhino the microphone.]

Rhino: Thank you, Kurt. Ah! The ECW Arena! Home sweet home as they say. I'd like to tell you all that I'm thrilled to be back here. Unfortunately, I hate this [bleep]ing place just like I did the last time I was here!

[The crowd starts a chant that is edited out. It's a F-U Rhino chant.]

Rhino: Chant whatever you want, it doesn't matter to me because what I speak is the truth. A lot of people think that I have fond memories of ECW just because I was the last ECW World and TV Champion. Yeah, being champion was great but I didn't appreciate having to work for free. Would you people work for free? Then shut the [bleep] up and listen to me. Back then, I couldn't say a damn thing about it because if you did, you had the supposed locker room leaders like Tommy Dreamer coming up to you and telling you to shut up and be happy you're not getting paid because at least you're on television and pay per view holding the titles. Being on television, being on pay per view, and not even holding the company's top two titles meant much of anything when you have mortgages to pay and groceries to buy. So Tommy Dreamer, [bleep] you. Paul Heyman, [bleep] you for having no business sense and having wrestlers doing finances for you. Speaking of Paul Heyman, I hear that the bastard is upset that I cost Rob Van Dam the chance to win the ECW World Title. Rob Van Dam doesn't care about the ECW World Title. He just cares about getting high just like all these nothing happening idiots in the ECW Arena. Yeah, some role model. Apparently, your role model RVD, has an injury that will keep him out for the next month. I think he is just scared of me.

[The crowd starts a RVD chant.]

Rhino: I want to get another thing off my chest right now. Like I already stated, I was the last ECW World and TV Champion. No one ever defeated me for those titles. While you might think this means trouble for Kurt, it most certainly doesn't. What you saw last week when I Gored Rob Van Dam was me taking my anger out on who deserved it. You see, as far as I am concerned, Kurt Angle earned the belt he now holds. Rob Van Dam, you weaseled your way into title contention. Paul Heyman has always been infatuated with your work in the ring, RVD, but I'm not impressed. It should've been me facing John Cena at One Night Stand for the WWE Title just out of respect to me for being the last ECW World and TV Champion. That didn't happen did it? Rob, you can blame your good friend Paul E. Heyman for me making my appearance in last week's main event. Kurt Angle, I am glad that I have returned because I am proud to be associated with you and The World's Greatest Tag Team.

[Rhino hands the microphone back to Kurt Angle and the two shake hands.]

Kurt Angle: It's my honor to have you associated with Team Angle, Rhino. In fact, out of respect for you and the fact you are the most extreme athlete in ECW, I have taken it upon myself to rename Team Angle to something more appropriate. Team Angle is now to be referred to as Team Angle Xtreme or in short, T-A-X! Just like paying your taxes is one of the certainties in life as an American, so too is the certainty that TAX is the greatest collection of athletes to ever be assembled. It's true, it's damn true!

[The crowd boo Team Angle Xtreme as they leave the ring.]

Shannon Moore pinned Super Crazy with the Mooregasm in 0:11:44.
Rating: *** 1/2

The much hyped "Prince of Punk" Shannon Moore made his in-ring debut for ECW in this match against the high flying, extreme luchador Super Crazy. It was a good back and forth match that neither man controlled much of the offense for too long. Near the end of the match, Shannon Moore gained momentum and was able to finish Super Crazy with the Mooregasm, which is a running flipping neckbreaker. The crowd booed Shannon Moore, who they believe isn't sincere in his punk rock leanings.

Interview:
[CM Punk is backstage with something to say.]

CM Punk: People like to come up to me and tell me that I have nice ink. It's nice to hear but what they don't know is that these tattoos aren't just decorations; they're declarations. Every tattoo I have tells a story about who I am.

[CM Punk puts his fists out towards the camera. He has a tattoo on each finger that spells Drug Free.]

CM Punk: Drug Free.

[He then shows some tattoos on his left arm, one of which says Honor.]

CM Punk: Honor.

[On his right arm, CM Punk shows a tattoo that says "There is a war."]

CM Punk: And a war against the system. You see, I'm not just some kid looking for his next thrill. I'm an extremely disciplined athlete. Craving to compete with the very best. My name is CM Punk.

Lance Storm made Tommy Dreamer submit to the Canadian Maple Leaf in 0:10:02.
Rating: **** 1/4

Last week, as The Impact Players were beating up on The Sandman, his friend Tommy Dreamer rushed to the ring with a barbed wire baseball bat that proved to be enough to convince Justin Credible and Lance Storm to leave the ring. However, Lance Storm came awfully close to feeling the effects of the barbed wire baseball bat before Justin Credible dragged him out of the ring. Lance Storm demanded a match against Tommy Dreamer this week and he received it. Like last week, Tommy Dreamer had the trusty barbed wire baseball bat with him. Justin Credible made an appearance in this match that swung the momentum and ultimately, the match to Lance Storm. Tommy Dreamer was about to hit the Dreamer DDT onto a chair but Justin Credible entered the ring and hit him with a superkick. Lance Storm followed this by applying his Canadian Maple Leaf submission hold to get the victory.

After the match, Lance Storm picked up the barbed wire baseball bat and waited for Tommy Dreamer to get up. When he staggered up, Lance Storm proceeded to smash the bat across his midsection, immediately knocking Dreamer down to the mat in pain. Justin Credible took the bat and it appeared as if he wanted to take a swing but he wouldn't have the chance as The Sandman rushed down to the ring with his singapore cane. The Impact Players left the ring before The Sandman could take a swing at them with the singapore cane.

Interview:
[The Pulp Fiction Montage of promos begin with Teddy Hart.]

Teddy Hart: No one thought that Teddy Hart would be signed to ECW. They all said Paul Heyman hates me. But here I am. The stupid internet marks thought I couldn't go toe to toe with the great Sabu but I did. I take pride in proving the doubters wrong. Sabu, you my friend, have been extremely lucky the past few weeks. Last week, in particular, you were given a victory; you didn't earn it. Why would I say that? While it is true that I went through the table, so too did Sabu! The old Teddy Hart would throw a temper tantrum about this situation. I might have even packed my gear and went home to get some lovin' from my girlfriend instead of dealing with this b.s. However, as I've grown older, I've grown more wiser. I'm going to take this as an opportunity. An opportunity to challenge Sabu to one more match. That's all I want is one more match and you know what? Win, lose, or draw Sabu, I promise to shake your hand. While I might look flashy and handsome, tradition is in my blood. My word is my bond, Sabu. As far as everyone else in ECW, just remember that I am a third generation Hart. It means that I am the past, present, and the future of professional wrestling. All you player-hating sons of bitches want to be me and all of your girls want to see me. When your kids meet me, I greet them with a smile because Teddy Hart goes the extra mile!

[From Teddy Hart, we go to Brent Albright who is in the locker room taping his wrists.]

Brent Albright: Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Brent Albright. You may or may not have known that I am signed to an ECW contract. I even made my wrestling debut in a singles match last week in which I won with little fanfare. Unlike other wrestlers, I didn't get the flashy promo time to talk about my tattoos or to put paint on my face and tell people that I'm going to make other wrestlers feel my pain and make their fears a reality in the ring. You know what? I'm perfectly fine with that because unlike those supposed wrestlers, I do my talking in the ring. I do feel disrespected though. Respect means everything to me. If I don't get the respect that I deserve then I guess I'll just have to beat it out of them until I get it.

[From Brent Albright, we go to MNM's locker room where Joey Mercury, Johnny Nitro and Melina are admiring themselves in front of a mirror.]

Joey Mercury: Hey Johnny and Melina. Let me get this shiznit straight. We beat The Eliminators last week.

Johnny Nitro: Fair and square, I might add.

Joey Mercury: Of course. But look what happened? Instead of MNM getting a title shot against The World's Greatest Tag Team it's The Eliminators.

Melina: Wait a second. I don't get it, Joey. How could MNM get a title shot against The World's Greatest Tag Team? I mean, after all, MNM is without a doubt the greatest tag team in the world.

Johnny Nitro: Yeah, fo' shizzle. I call gimmick infringement.

Joey Mercury: To be fair, as of right now, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas hold the ECW World Tag Team Titles. That does make them the best but not for long. While Johnny and myself might not be in the main event wrestling for the titles, we are issuing a challenge to the winner of tonight's match to put up the ECW World Tag Team Titles against MNM ASAP.

Melina: When we win those titles, guess what I am going to do with the championship belts? I'm going to make my own designer bikini. Joey, I'll put your belt right here.

[Melina points to her chest.]

Melina: And Johnny, this'll get Russell the Love Muscle in a tizzy because I'll put your belt right there.

[Melina points to her skirt.]

Joey Mercury: Russell the Love Muscle?

[Melina laughs while Johnny Nitro looks somewhat embarassed and wanting to change the subject]

Johnny Nitro: Let's get out of this joint and go first class back to L.A. I hear Lindsey Lohan is going to throw a party that'll be off 'da hook!

[Joey Mercury nods and leaves the room with Johnny Nitro and Melina following behind.]

Johnny Nitro: Babe, I thought you were going to keep the Russell the Love Muscle stuff on the down low?

[Melina laughs as they leave. Meanwhile, Vampiro is shown walking through a cemetary at night.]

Vampiro: For most people, walking amongst the graves of those that have passed on at the midnight hour wouldn't exactly be their idea of fun. Why would I be here then? I feel the most comfortable in this place. While I am considered an outcast everywhere else, here no one can judge me or my outward appearance. When I come to ECW, it will be my turn to do the judging. The pain that I inflict on the ECW wrestlers will be my happiness that I never had. Get ready ECW because your fears are about to become your reality.

The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin) defeated The Eliminators (John Kronus and Perry Saturn) when C. Haas made Saturn submit to the Haas Of Pain in 0:13:44.
Rating: *** 1/2
(The World's Greatest Tag Team retained the ECW World Tag Team Titles.)

Despite losing to MNM last week, it was due mostly to The World's Greatest Tag Team getting involved and because of it, Paul Heyman granted The Eliminators a title match against the champions here tonight. MNM and TAX would play a role in the outcome of the match to the surprise of no one in the ECW Arena. MNM hit the Snapshot on John Kronus on the outside of the ring. This would leave John Kronus out cold and Perry Saturn to wrestle a Handicap Match against The World's Greatest Tag Team. Saturn did an admirable job but the odds would be too much, especially when Rhino was factored into the equation. Perry Saturn attempted to hit a Saturn Bomb on Charlie Haas but was prevented from doing so as Rhino rushed into the ring and hit the Gore. Rhino left the ring but not before giving a double middle finger salute to the ECW Arena crowd. Charlie Haas took advantage by applying the Haas of Pain in the middle of the ring. Saturn had no choice but to submit to the hold as he was in the middle of the ring with no chance of reaching the ropes. The World's Greatest Tag Team retains their titles but not without help from MNM and Rhino.

After the match, MNM walked back out on the ramp and sarcastically clapped their hands at The World's Greatest Tag Team. They made a motion around their waists indicating that the belts will be theirs should The World's Greatest Tag Team accept their challenge.
