ECW Hardcore TV
Date: June 27, 2006
Location: Roanoke, VA

Interview:
Al Snow is backstage with Head. He seems to be having a conversation with
himself...or with Head rather. He's telling Head not to say that about Rhino.
He's the World Television Champion of ECW afterall. At the same time, Rhino
happens to walk by and he doesn't look happy. Rhino overhears his name and
confronts Al Snow. Rhino wants to know if he has a problem with him. Al tells
him he doesn't. Al tells Head to shut up. Rhino looks at Al and then at the
Head mannequin. Rhino says he wants to know what..."Head" is saying about him.
Al Snow is reluctant to tell Rhino, but at Rhino's angry urging, Al Snow says
that Head said that Rhino has as much chance defeating Rob Van Dam as he did
holding on to the six sided ring title. Rhino was furious at hearing what
"Head" had to say and grabbed it and threw it across the room. Rhino then
grabbed Al Snow and said that tonight he will show Al Snow just what a credible
World Television Champion he is as he will defend the title against Al Snow.

No-Countout-No-DQ-Match:
CM Punk pinned Mikey Whipwreck with the Pepsi Plunge in 0:04:06.
Rating: ***

The much hyped CM Punk made his ECW in-ring debut tonight against Mikey
Whipwreck. Punk looked good in the ring against Whipwreck tonight, showcasing
his wrestling ability that he believes is unrivaled in ECW. Mikey Whipwreck
kept this match closer than CM Punk would've liked it to be, but he managed to
win this match after hitting the Pepsi Plunge, a top rope pedigree maneuver.

After the match, C.M. Punk addresses the crowd and puts over his straightedge
lifestyle. Punk notes that Mikey Whipwreck was a former ECW World Heavyweight
Champion. Mikey Whipwreck! And who did he defeat to become the champion? The
Sandman! That shows how pathetic The Sandman was, is, and always will be as a
professional wrestler. Maybe if The Sandman had devoted himself more to working
out and making himself a better wrestler than to drinking beers and smoking
cigarettes, he could've been a better champion. From out of the crowd, The
Sandman appeared with his singapore cane. He entered the ring from behind C.M.
Punk and hit him with the singapore cane! He repeatedly hit C.M. Punk with the
singapore cane before he stopped to grab a beer out of his pocket. The Sandman
stands over C.M. Punk and drinks the beer and drops the can on him before
leaving the ring.

No-Countout-No-DQ-Match:
Rhino pinned Al Snow with the Gore in 0:08:40.
Rating: ***
(Rhino retained the ECW World Television Title.)

All ECW World Television Title matches will have ten minute time limits on
Hardcore TV. At ECW pay per views, the time limit will be extended to 15
minutes. Of course, special exceptions will occur if Paul Heyman should rule
differently. Rhino came into this match looking as determined as ever as he
took on the challenge from Al Snow, who he faced in the Gauntlet for the ECW
World Television Title on the premiere edition of Hardcore TV a few weeks ago.
Al Snow tried to get the upset, and at times it looked like he might just do
that with a few close pinfall counts. At one point in the match, Al Snow had
just managed to hit Rhino with the Snow Plow. Before he could go for the pin, a
beautiful blonde got up onto the ring apron and shook her assets at Al Snow.
This was an obvious distraction for Al Snow, and during this distraction Rhino
got back up to his feet. The blonde jumped down off the ring apron, and when a
confused Al Snow turned around, he was met with the Gore from Rhino for the
three count! Who was that blonde woman that distracted Al Snow and what was the
purpose of her appearance tonight?

After the match, Rhino got on the microphone to issue a challenge to Rob Van
Dam. Rhino is tired of the talk, and he's tired of Rob Van Dam avoiding him.
Next week, ECW returns to its roots, the ECW Arena on July 4th. Rhino thinks
that there is no better time and place or day for Rob Van Dam to put the ECW
World Heavyweight Title on the line against him. Rob Van Dam walks out to
answer the challenge, along with his manager Bill Alphonso. Rob Van Dam says
that he hasn't been avoiding Rhino. If Rhino wanted a title shot all he had to
do was ask for it. However, there is something Rob Van Dam wants from Rhino to
make the match for next week official. If Rob Van Dam is going to put the World
Heavyweight Title on the line, it is only fair that Rhino also defend his World
Television Title. As far as Rob Van Dam is concerned, that title would still be
his had it not been for the Network ordering him to vacate the title due to an
injury. Rhino says that he will put the title on the line as well. It doesn't
matter to Rhino because after he defeats Rob Van Dam next week, ECW will go
back to the days when he controlled both titles!

Interview:
Tommy Dreamer talks about what Cactus Jack did last week when he piledrived
Beulah through a table. Tommy says he's been at the hospital tending to Beulah
while she's been receiving treatment for her neck injury. Tommy says that he
has been in a daze since the events of last week's Hardcore TV. But he's come
to a realization about something. Cactus Jack, Mick Foley, Mankind, Dude Love,
whoever he decides to be, has lost all his respect. Tommy Dreamer isn't
interested in making Mick Foley realize his hardcore roots. As far as he is
concerned, Mick Foley should play it safe and keep being a corporate whore to
the WWE and Vince McMahon. That's because if Mick Foley dares to cross into
ECW territory again, he is going to show him why the ECW fans deemed him the
"Innovator of Violence." It's not a gimmick, it's fact. Mick Foley should've
put Tommy Dreamer through the table. It's not like Beulah could get back at
Mick Foley. It's not true in this case as Tommy Dreamer will make Mick Foley
pay for what he has done to someone more special than anything....even more
special than Extreme Championship Wrestling.

Joey Styles announces that next week, in their return to the ECW Arena on July
4th, Hardcore TV will be extended to two hours. It will feature the rubber
match between Sabu and Masato Tanaka. The match will determine the number one
contender for the ECW World Television Title.

20-Man Tag Team Battle Royal for the vacant ECW World Tag Team Titles:

a fist to the midsection in 0:28:26
Rating: ** 1/2
(The Masked Men won the ECW World Tag Team Titles.)
[Sal E. Graziano interfered against Tajiri.]

This was quite an interesting battle royal to determine the new ECW World Tag
Team Champions. Of note, it featured the ECW debuts of Kid Kash and Jamie
Noble, who were lead to the ring by Gary Wolfe and announced as The Pitbulls.
In addition, for lucha libre fans, Perro Aguayo Jr. and Cibernetico teamed up
to see if their lucha styles could bring them tag team gold. Lastly, as far as
debuts, there were two masked men who were simply billed as being The Masked
Men. The Eliminators also made their in ring return to ECW, which received a
standing ovation from the ECW fans. The Eliminators looked impressive in their
in-ring return to ECW as they managed to be one of the final two teams in this
tag team battle royal. However, in a shocking finish, one of the Masked Men
threw Perry Saturn over the top rope, eliminating The Eliminators from the
battle royal!

The Masked Men outlasted every other team entered into the battle royal to
become the new ECW World Tag Team Champions. Once Paul Heyman handed them the
belts, he also asked for a microphone. Paul Heyman tells the ECW crowd that
these two wrestlers will not remain masked. Their identities will be familiar
to those who watch Monday Night RAW. They have been misused and mistreated by
the WWE, but in ECW they are World Tag Team Champions. The two masked men
unmask to reveal...Eugene and Rob Conway? ECW Hardcore TV goes off the air as
the fans are stunned to see the former RAW Superstars as the new ECW World Tag
Team Champions.

Don't forget that on July 4th, ECW and Sci-Fi celebrate Independence Day with a special edition of Hardcore TV at the one and only ECW Arena!

Already announced for this special two hour edition of Hardcore TV includes the huge main event featuring a title versus title match when the World Heavyweight Champion Rob Van Dam defends his title against the World Television Champion Rhino. One wrestler will walk out of the ECW Arena with both championships!

Sabu will take on Masato Tanaka in a match that will determine a number one contender for the ECW World Television Championship. Considering the previous two matches between these two, the third should be nothing less than stellar!

Last week, the new ECW World Tag Team Champions were none other than Eugene and Rob Conway. ECW.com has received word that the two will address the ECW crowd about their stunning debut last week.

A beautiful blonde woman appeared during Al Snow's match against Rhino last week. Depending on your view, she either cost him the match or did so inadvertently. Hopefully, we'll find more out about this unknown woman.

And just announced, Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman will team up to face The Impact Players! You have to believe that wherever The Sandman is, CM Punk won't be too far away either!

Remember that ECW Hardcore TV will have a special start time on Sci-Fi of 9 PM. Two hours of action that only ECW can bring to you!

Al Snow and Head were always very entertaining.  Wish he would have gotten more of a go in WWE.  Good set up for the match later tonight though.

Great way to debut CM Punk, and I think a Punk/Sandman feud IRL is an inevitable as it is here.  Well done, mate.

That bitch, costing Snow the TV Title!  Not that he would have won, but still.  Interesting to see who it might be.

Not sure what I think about Eugene and Conway s the masked tag champs, but I'm willing to give it a shot and see where you take it.

Sorry... lines are blurring for me.  I've been out of the loop for too long and trying to get back in.  Southern California will do that to you. :)

I've been here for four years, so I know what you mean. :-)
