In the Ring

Bill DeMott was in the ring to welcome everyone to this week's PPV. Before he could go any further a pissed off Christopher Daniels made his way to the ring. He grabbed the mic from DeMott and said you set me up. DeMott said he had no clue Mr.X and the Kings were working together. Daniels said he didn't believe him when Mr. X and the Kings came down to the ring. Mr. X starts laughing and tells Daniels that DeMott had no idea what was going on because no on here in MCPW can think at Mr. X's level. He then continued by saying that as the new voice of the Kings of Wrestling, they demand per their contract a rematch against the Irish Airborne for the MCPW Tag team titles, 2nd I get Christian Cage in a title match tonight. This brings out the Cage and the Coalition who comes down to the ring. Cage has a mic and tells Mr. X that he is smoking crack if he believes he can just walk in here and demand a title shot. You need to get in line and wait just like the rest of the nobodies in the locker room. He then said last time he looked Styles and Aries were the number 1 contenders for the titles. Mr. X said he didn't care about any of that because his boys have a contract. He then told DeMott he would sue the hell out of MCPW if they didn't get their rematch.

DeMott told everyone to calm down and this is what will happen tonight. The Kings will get their title shot tonight against the Airborne. Styles and Aries you will lose your title shot. The Coalition was about to complain but DeMott continued. He told them to hold on one second. AJ Styles, I'll give you something you been whining about since day one, a shot at Low-Ki for the Television title. Styles whispered something to Cage and Aries and said he accepted. DeMott said good and finally, Mr. X you will get Cage in the ring along with Christopher Daniels in a non title triple threat match. Everyone seemed pleased with what went down and tonight both the Television and Tag team titles will be defended and in our main event, Mr. X, Christopher Daniels and Christian Cage.

Bobby Roode pinned Jason Blade with the Northern Lariat in 0:11:49.
Rating: ** 1/2

Bobby Roode got back on the winning side with a nice win over Jason Blade. Roode hit the Northern Lariat to end Blade's night.

Katsushi Takemura and Homicide defeated Paul London and Brian Kendrick when
K. Takemura made B. Kendrick submit to the Dragon Sleeper in 0:18:50.
Rating: **** 1/4

Homicide and Takemura teamed up again to take on London and Kendrick and in a better performance then last time Homicide and Takemura looked and worked much better. This one was full of action and near falls but it was Takemura who got Brian Kendrick to submit to the Dragon Sleeper.

Back Stage

Coalition members Christian Cage and AJ Styles are asked about the matches tonight. Styles starts by saying that if it was not for him Low-Ki would be curtain jerking for some third rate backyard promotion. It was he who brought him to MCPW, it was he who made Low-Ki the star he is today and it will be he who would take that Television title and send Low-Ki back to curtain jerkin.

Cage pointed to the MCPW Heavyweight title on his shoulder and said he was the be all and end all of MCPW. And if anyone had any doubts they can ask Samoa Joe and Low -Ki. He then turned his focus on Mr. X. He said that Mr. X was going down and that it will be a cold day in hell before he gets a shot at this title. He finished by saying after tonight Mr. X will be no more.

Adam Pearce pinned Kenny Dykstra after a flying bodypress in 0:06:14.

Adam Pearce is slowly climbing the ranks as a solo wrestler and picks up a big win over Kenny Dykstra. In quick work, Pearce hit a flying bodypress to pick up the win.

The Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) and
The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) battled to a draw in 0:20:00.

In a showcase of the depth in the tag division the Biscoe's battled the Naturals to a 20 minute draw. The fans were all in to this one but 20 minutes was not long enough to settle anything this week.

Back Stage

Christopher Daniels talks about his match tonight against Mr. X and Cage. He starts by saying that Mr. X made an enemy last week, one who will hunt him till the end. He then tells Cage that he managed to avoid getting his ass kicked twice now but tonight Mr. X and Cage will be given their Last Rites.

MCPW Tag Team Titles
The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) and
Irish Airborne (Lotus and Crazy J) battled to a draw in 0:20:00.
Rating: ** 3/4
(Irish Airborne retained the MCPW Tag Team Titles.)

In an ironic twist of fate it was the Airborne who battled the Kings of Wrestling to a draw. It seemed that the Irish Airborne were giving the Kings a taste of their own medicine and did just enough to reach the time limit. Hero who as livid promised revenge and the titles back.

Raven pinned Bryan Danielson after a Raven Effect in 0:09:43.
Rating: *** 1/2

Raven and Danielson went at it but it was Raven who got the early advantage over Danielson and did not look back. Around the 10 minutes mark Raven hits the Raven Effect and gets the pin.

MCPW Television Title
AJ Styles pinned Low-Ki with the Styles Clash in 0:16:18.

(AJ Styles won the MCPW Television Title.)

AJ Styles was able to do tonight that no one else has been able to do in over 3 months and that to totally control the TV champ and pin him for the title. Defeating Low-Ki was not enough. Aries came down to put some boots to the back of Low-Ki. Styles was about to hit him again with the belt when Petey Williams came down to even things out, but the damage was done and we have anew Television champion.

Triangle Match:
Mr. X defeated Christopher Daniels and Christian Cage when Mr. X pinned Cage
with the Spear in 0:15:41.
Rating: ****

If anything came from tonight's main event was that Mr. X was more then just talk. The masked one worked both sides against each other then took advantage when Daniels was out on the floor. Aries and Styles tried to interfere but the Kings dropped them as soon as they came down the ramp. Mr. X hit a powerful spear on Cage and got the 3 count. Mr. X and the Kings stood over the down men and soaked in all the boos from the crowd.

Good show, yet again. Too bad the Kings couldn't win back their titles... but maybe in the right kind of match they could? Styles is the new TV Champ? Great! That's just what the MCPW needs: the Coalition with two title holders! And... I think I've got an idea on who Mr. X is...but, I'll find and find out more.
