Next, Ron Garvin came out for a quick interview!  He didn't have much to say, but he did say that Horsemen or not, tonight he would be leaving as the first ever JRCCW World Heavyweight Championship, and Ric Flair would just have to deal with it!

The Powers of Pain v. The Rock'n'Roll Express

The Powers of Pain used their size and strength advantage to work over the Express, but the Express had the support of this capacity crowd!  In the end, the Barbarian hit a savate kick and went for a back suplex, but it was Morton with a go-behind!  The Barbarian walked into a savate kick from Morton and Rock'n'Roll Ricky hit The Rock'n'Roll Buster and got the pin!  The Express is red hot!

Rock'n'Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) defeated The Powers of Pain (The Barbarian and Warlord) when R. Morton pinned Barbarian with the Rock'n'Roll Buster in 0:13:38.

Jimmy Garvin v. Lex Luger

J.J. Dillon came out with Lex Luger and had him ready for this match!  But Jimmy Jam was ready to and he took it to Luger early!  Garvin hit a running shoulderblock on Luger and whipped him into the buckle, charging in with another shoulderblock!  Garvin, in control, tried a whip into the ropes, but Luger reversed and took his head off with a big clothesline!  Luger worked him over for a couple minutes, but Jimmy Jam tried to fight back.  Garvin executed another irish whip, but Luger came off the far side with a Running Forearm Smash!  He pulled Garvin back up and got him in the Torture Rack!  Garvin tried to fight off the pin, but after nearly a minute, he had no choice but to submit.  Just like that, Lex Luger is the NEW United States Champion!

Arn Anderson and Jim Herd are out.  Anderson was arguing with Jim Herd, because it seems that Tully Blanchard is not here!  Herd rules that Lex Luger will replace Blanchard, but if The Horsemen lose the match, they will still lose the tag team titles to the Windhams!  With that, Anderson heads to the ring to meet up with Luger and J.J., who are already there!

JRCCW World Tag Team Title Match
The Windhams v. Arn Anderson and Lex Luger

Luger, still pumped up from his U.S. Title victory, goes right after Barry!  He hits an inverted atomic drop a powerslam and goes for the cover, but Barry kicks out!  Luger takes out to Anderson, and he goes to work on Barry!   Anderson hits a suplex and goes for a headlock, but Barry pushes him off and The Enforcer walks into a body slam!  Barry tags in Kendall!  As soon as he does, Luger is back in and he levels Kendall!  The Horsemen work over Kendall for the next several moments!  They go for a double team manuever, but he ducks and comes back with a double clothesline!  Kendall is spent, but he makes the tag to Barry!  Barry is in and he keeps both Luger and Anderson at bay!  Kendall is back in and now Barry and Anderson are brawling on the outside!  Back in the ring, Kendall has hit Luger with the Bulldog and he is making a cover, but the official is distracted by J.J. Dillon!  Meanwhile, Anderson has smashed Barry into the guardrail and rolls back inside!  Kendall goes over to get the official, but Anderson spins him around and hits The Spinebuster!  The official turns around and counts the three and the Horsemen win it!

Luger, Dillon, and Anderson circle around Kendall and look to do some damage to him, but Barry is back in.  He kneels over his brother with his fists clenched and the Horsemen back off.  Barry helps his brother up to his feet, but Barry comes off the ropes and levels him with a big lariat!  Kendall is down and out and Barry just stands over him staring downward.  J.J. Dillon comes over... and Barry Windham gives him a hug!  Dillon, Luger, Anderson, and Barry Windham all give the sign of the Four Horsemen!  Barry Windham kicks Kendall in the ribs for good measure.  Deplorable!

The Horsemen walk over to the interview position where they meet Ric Flair, who is decked out in one of his studded robes.  Windham said that earlier tonight he promised that he would shock the world and that's exactly what he did.  Flair takes over and says that there is only one thing left to do... win the World Heavyweight Title!

JRCCW World Heavyweight Title Match

Flair doesn't wait long to start cheating, as he burns Garvin's eyes on the ropes right away!  J.J. Dillon was at ringside, but he was joined by Arn Anderson in short order!  Meanwhile, Flair goes for a punch, but Garvin blocks it and hits a reverse neckbreaker!    Garvin hits an elbow and runs into the ropes, but Anderson hits him in the back with a chair!  Garvin goes down in a heap!  Flair doesn't waste any time... he applies The Figure-Four Leglock!  Garvin is in intense pain, but he fights... and turns the hold over!  Flair releases!  Soon the match spills to the outside, where Garvin takes over!  Anderson comes from behind, but Garvin is ready!  Anderson starts to back away, and Flair comes from behind with a chop block!  He stomps away at the knee and then bangs it into the steel steps!  The official comes outside and tells Flair to get back into the ring!  As he does, Anderson comes from behind with another chop block and rolls him back inside!  Flair sets his leg on the ropes and drives all of his weight down onto Garvin's knee!  Flair has him up, and... kneebreaker!  He goes for a cover, but only gets a two count.  Flair sets him up for the Figure-Four again, but Garvin counters with an inside cradle!  Only a two count!  Flair goes over to attack, but Garvin catches him in the gut with a punch!  Garvin gets back up and takes him down with a Russian Legsweep!  Garvin is still in it!  He gives the sign and... here comes the Garvin Stomp!  After he completes the Stomp, he pulls Flair to his feet and whips him into the turnbuckle, but Flair reverses, and Garvin reverses that and the official gets the worst of it!  Meanwhile, Flair staggers back toward Garvin, and Ron hits him with the Hands of Stone Punch!  Flair is out cold!   Garvin makes a cover, but the official is nowhere to be found!  Garvin gets up... and walks right into an Anderson Spinebuster!  Barry Windham is in and he is waking Flair up!  After Flair gets up, he applies the Figure-Four, but Garvin is OUT.  Windham slaps the referee around a little to wake him up!  He crawls over and makes a slow count!  One!  ......  Two!   ..... Three!  Flair has won the World Heavyweight Title, but he damn sure didn't do it alone!

And the crowd goes bananas!  It's The American Dream Dusty Rhodes!  He slides into the ring and he's got an elbow for Windham!  An elbow for Luger!  An elbow for Dillon!  An elbow for Anderson!  Flair comes of the ropes and Rhodes gets the elbow ready for him, but Flair drops to the mat and rolls to the outside!  Rhodes takes a swing over the ropes, but he can't reach Flair!  The Horsemen grab all of their title belts and head to the back, cursing at Rhodes, as The American Dream stands tall!

It looks like the Rock 'N' Roll Express continue to solidify themselves as the top contenders to the World Tag Team Titles.

The right man won the US Title. Lex Luger also won the title in somewhat convincing fashion which establishes the title the right way.

I definitely was not expecting the Barry Windham heel turn, and even worse against his brother Kendall. My question is that with Barry Windham in the Four Horsemen, does that mean Tully Blanchard is out? Are we going to be seeing a "future endeavors" post soon for Tully?

Ron Garvin was close but against Flair you aren't just competing against him but all of the Horsemen at times. I definitely cannot complain with Ric Flair as the first champion of JRCCW.

Nice to see Big Dust making his return. He definitely isn't short on reasons for revenge against Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen. I think it is time that Dusty Rhodes bring in his good friend Magnum T.A.

Good show, btw.

I'm thinking if Tully is not released outright that he'll get the legendary Horsemen beatdown next week.
