A Standard Head-to-Head league lets you square off weekly against another manager in your league. Your opponent each week is determined by the league schedule, which is automatically generated in all leagues and may not be modified. Teams with the best win/loss records, may compete in playoffs after the regular season. Scoring settings include points for passing, rushing and receiving, and kick/punt return yardage. Player rankings and expert advice are based on this default configuration.

teams will be drafted based Yahoo! default rankings or a manager's pre-ranking of players. Once draft status is set to Ready, the results will be posted by the following day

Division 2

Phudjie's Smudge Munkeys were led by Drew Brees who overpowered Unrights' Samoan Swat Team 197-168.

The Bronx Raiders can thank Darren Sproles for a late game touchdown that jumped them ahead of the PA Eagles 171 to 168. Anquan Boldin 19 yards and no TD hurt the Eagles.

Division 3

Rick's Memphis Maniax and JustinPossible's Texas Outlaws had the game of the week with Texas pulling it out 155 to 153. The big question for Rick is with McNabb hurt who will he get to replace him at QB?

No 4th quarter comeback this time for Tom Brady as the Norcross Pain fall to division rival Memphis Maniax 166 - 154.

The Bronx Raiders edged the Samoan Swat Team 241- 223. The Raiders were lead by Frank Gore who rushed for 207 yards and 2 TD's.

The San Jose Storm was pistol whipped 224 - 124. QB Matt Schaub 367 yards and 4 TD's fell well short of the juggernaut that is the PA Eagles.

The Texas Outlaws go 2-0 as they outscored Smudge Munkeys194-136. Even with Drew Breez passing for 311 yards and 3 TD's, the Outlaws just had to many horses

TNM Gridiron Week 3

Week 3 is in the books so let's take a look at the Divisions.

Division 1

Rick's Memphis Maniax was the only D1 team to pull off a victory. Maurice Jones-Drew powered the Maniax over the Bronx Raiders 218-159.

The PA Eagles made Ducks' Pain feel the pain with a 155-121 victory. With Dewane Bowe and Wes Walker out, the Pain was unable to muscle any real offence.

Division 2

The Smudge Munkeys coulda used another big day from Drew Brees but the one day Phudjie needed one, Drew holds back. San Jose pulls the victory 145-89

Division 3

The Samoan Swat Team put up a good effort but was unable to get past Texas Outlaws 219-156. The Outlaws become Gridiron's only undefeated team.

Player of the Week

Maurice Jones-Drew of the Memphis Maniax is the player of the week for week 3. He rushed for 119 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Next weeks Match-Ups

Norcross Pain (1-2)

vs.

Texas Outlaws (3-0)

Texas will once again rely on Payton Manning to lead them and Norcross will need to get some points from their defense.

Winner: Texas

San Jose Storm (1-2)

vs.

Samoan Swat Team (0-3)

The chances of Matt Schaub having another game like last week are pushing the laws of reality. This should be a close one.

Winner: Samoan Swat Team

The Bronx Raiders (2-1)

vs.

THe Smudge Munkeys (1-2)

The Raiders have a lot of weapons and the Munkeys have no way of keeping up with them. I see another tough week for Phudjie.

Winner: The Bronx Raiders

** Game of the Week **

PA Eagles(2-1)
vs.

Memphis Maniax (2-1)

This will be a battle of two high scoring teams. The Eagles' Adrian Peterson and the Maniax's Maurice Jones-Drew are expected to have huge games. They will probably cancel each other out so the supporting cast will most likely be the difference.

Winner: Memphis Maniax

It's funny... I have played Yahoo fantasy football for the past 4 years & over the last 3 seasons Peyton Manning has always been my QB... and its all been by automated draft

TNM GRIDIRON
Week 10

After a few weeks off, were back with the week 9 round - up, a look at week 10 match ups and a playoff preview.

Week 9

Norcross Pain 163 Memphis Maniax 170

Lazy came into this one riding a 4 game winning streak and looked to close the gap between him and Rick. Even with the great play of Michael Turner, the Pain was unable to muster enough points. Maurice Jones-Drew and the New Orleans defense gave Rick more than enough to pull 2 games ahead of Lazy for the Division 1 title.

San Jose Storm 185 PA Eagles 110

The once high flying Eagles now limp through the rest of the season like wounded pigeons. Drunken Fool was on a 5 game losing streak coming into this one. Larry Fitzgerald led the storm to their 2nd win of the season and ending the longest losing streak of the year.

Bronx Raiders 211 Samoan Swat Team 164

Jeff pushes his winning streak to 4 with the win over the Swat Team. Aaron Rogers and DeAngelo Williams led the Raiders to the win. Kurt Warner stellar performance Sunday could not help the Swat Team.

Texas Outlaws 185 Smudge Munkeys 144

Phudjie's Smudge Munkeys fell way short of Justin's Outlaws 185 to 144. Greg Olsen and Randy Moss had career days. The Munkeys' defense held strong but Phudgie had no help on offence.

Player of the week

The Samoan Swat Team's Kurt Warner is week 9 player of the week. Warner went 22 of 32 261 yards and 5 touchdowns.

TNM's Biggest Blow Out

San Jose Storm over the PA Eagles+75 points

Week 10

Norcross Pain (5-4) vs. PA Eagles (3-6)

Norcross is hanging on to that 4th seed in the playoffs and an outside shot at winning the division. A win over the Eagles will keep them right in the thick of the division.

Winner: Norcross

San Jose Storm (2-7) vs. Smudge Munkeys (2-7)

It's the battle of for the basement. At this point both teams are playing just for pride and looking to play spoiler. San Jose comes into this with the momentum.

Winner: San Jose

Bronx Raiders (7-2) vs. Memphis Maniax (7-2)

The week 10 game of the week. The Raiders are riding a 4 game winning streak and a win over Memphis will clinch the Division 2 championship. This also could be a preview of the TNM Gridiron Bowl. This should be a close one.

Winner: Bronx (did you think I would pull for Rick?? :))

Texas Outlaws (6-3) vs. Samoan Swat Team (4-5)

The Swat Team need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Texas need to win to and hopes Norcross loses to keep its 3rd seed in the playoffs. Should be another great match up.

Winner: Texas
