Names in Database problem

JohnManardPosted on 04/07/05 at 01:04:30

Here is my problem. In tnm7se build 3b . .

I renamed a large # of wrestlers in my database. I had existing circuits. Those circuits have the wrestlers old names. Is there any way to get the circuits to read from the main database again and rename the wrestlers?

thanks

Option 1: Rename them all one at a time in the circuits, or at least as they come up.  This will take a while, but it's the easiest solution.

Option 2: Delete your circdb.dat file.  Everything in your circuit database will be re-copied directly from your main database, but you will have to manually re-sign everyone on your roster to new contracts, everyone's heat will default back to 5, their pushes will be at the default level, etc.

Basically you can either keep using your existing circuit database, or build a new one with the new names from the ground up.  Option 1 is probably easier 9 times out of 10.

Wish there was something more easier than that.

John --- do you still need a program to do this for you? I'll write you a quick utility to do that.
