TNM FANTASY DRAFT LEAGUE

A brief introduction: The TNM Fantasy Draft League is a game made up by me, Vertigo, which runs on the help of you guys, the TNM Forum members, and the TNM program itself.

What happens is this: A TNM Forum member participating in the game is called an OWNER. The Owner drafts wrestlers from a set talent pool. From there, this Owner is paired up against another Owner who has also drafted wrestlers. These two Owners select wrestlers from their roster to compete against wrestlers of the other Owner's roster on a card. And the process continues throughout a set number of weeks until we have a winner.

OBJECT OF THE GAME
Finish the league with the most points.

How do you win? The wrestler(s) that wins each individual match on a card is awarded points for the team they represent. After the card is finished, the points are tallied. By end of the league the team with the most points is the winner.
*** NOTE *** As of right now, I haven't decided if this will go into a Playoff's Bracket to declare a winner. I will leave this up to you guys and whether or not participation is good.

What does the winner get? At this time, no more than the good times it will provide. Maybe one day down the road if this is successful we can drop some bones in a PayPal account and award something to the winner.

THE CARD:
A card will have 1 Owner vs. 1 Owner consisting of FOUR matches. Concluding the Week will be a card consisting of ONE BATTLE ROYAL which will have 1 representative from each team. Here are the matches an Owner will be choosing wrestlers to participate in each week.
- 1 Singles Match
- 1 Tag Team Match
- 1 Six Man Tag Team Match
- 1 Elimination 8-Man Tag Team Match
- 1 Battle Royal

Points:
- 1 point awarded to the winner of the Singles Match, 0 to the loser
- 2 points awarded to the winners of the Tag Team Match, 0 to the losers
- 3 points awarded to the winners of the Six Man Tag Team Match, 0 to the losers
- 1 point awarded for each fall in the Elimination 8-Man Tag Team Match, the winning team awarded a maximum of 4 points, the losing team awarded a maximum of 3 points, minimum of 0 points
- 1 point awarded for every elimination in the Battle Royal and the winner receiving 3 additional points. Maximum points awarded depends on the amount of Owners participating in the league.
- 2 bonus points will be awarded to each Owner participating on the card with the highest OVERALL CARD RATING
- In the event of a time-limit draw, double DQ, double countout, etc... the amount of points possible for each match will be divided.

THE DRAFT
After all members have signed up, they become OWNERS of a team. They will then name their team (if only for my amusement). Once all owners are determined I make a selection of wrestlers from either the TNM Wrestler Exports on tnm7.com or from Edit Packs available from TNMUK. After that list is compiled I will present it to the Owners. The Owners then rank the wrestlers in the order with which they would prefer to draft them.
Example:

1. Triple H
2. John Cena
3. The Great Khali
4. Hornswoggle
5. Moondog Spot
6. etc.....

This says I want Triple H to be my #1 Draft Pick, Cena #2, Khali #3, and so on. I would do this until I've ranked all wrestlers.
*** NOTE ***
This will be the only real time consuming project of this league on your part. It would be nice to do a live draft but there is just no way to get all participants together at the same time. I could do a random draft, but the amount of trades, adds, and drops that would follow that would be very time consuming on my part.

After the rankings are submitted by the Owners, the draft will begin. The order with which the Owners draft will be randomly chosen by me. I.E. If there are FOUR OWNERS participating, the Owner that is randomly selected to choose first will receive their #1 Draft Pick. Followed by the second, third, and fourth Owners to conclude the first round. If an Owner's next Draft Pick has already been chosen, they will receive the next available wrestler ranked on their list. The second round will start with Fourth Owner getting his next pick, followed by the third, second, and first owner to conclude the Second Round. The process continues until a full roster has been drafted.
A FULL ROSTER CONSISTS OF 16 WRESTLERS.

RULES ON GAMEDAY:
Each Owner will choose the following,
1 wrestler to participate in the Singles Match against the opposing Owner's choice
2 wrestlers to participate in the Tag Team Match against the opposing Owner's choices
3 wrestlers to participate in the Six Man Tag Team Match against the opposing Owner's choices
4 wrestlers to participate in the 8-Man Tag Team Elimination Match against the opposing Owner's choices
1 wrestler to participate in the Battle Royal against ALL opposing Owner's choices

This will leave FIVE wrestlers without matches. These will however need to be ranked by order of preference as they will be next in line in the event of a NO SHOW.
Example:
I chose Triple H to participate in the Singles Match. However, he no-showed. I ranked my extra five wrestlers like this:

1. Super Crazy
2. Tajiri
3. Erik Watts
4. Iron Sheik
5. Shane McMahon

Therefore, Super Crazy would take Triple H's spot in the Singles Match. If another of my wrestlers no-shows later in the card, Tajiri would take that wrestler's spot.
*** LIMIT *** A WRESTLER WHO HAS PARTICIPATED IN A CERTAIN MATCH TYPE CAN NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE SAME MATCH TYPE THE FOLLOWING WEEK.
That said, Triple H cannot wrestle in the Singles Match in back-to-back weeks. If he wrestles the Singles Match in Week 1, he cannot wrestle in the Singles Match again until Week 3.

INJURIES!!!
Injuries will be handled exactly as TNM declares them. If a wrestler is injured and will be out for 6 cards, he will be unavailable to wrestle for 6 cards. It's the Owner's decision as to whether they want to keep, drop, or trade that wrestler.

TRADING
Trading with other teams is encouraged and should be handled through the Forum's PRIVATE MESSAGING SYSTEM. However, a Trading Block thread will be setup for Owner's to post wrestler's who they are willing to trade. After a trade has been finalized by the participating parties, BOTH PARTIES must PM me confirmation before I will make the trade OFFICIAL. In the event that an Owner makes a trade and in return receives an amount of wrestlers that pushes them OVER the 16 wrestler LIMIT, they must DROP wrestlers until their roster is back to 16. If they are UNDER 16, they must choose a wrestler(s) from the Free Agency.

ADDING/DROPPING WRESTLERS
After the draft has been finished and the teams are finalized there will still be plenty of wrestlers available in the Free Agency Talent Pool. If a wreslter isn't putting up the numbers you would like or a wrestler has been injured, you may Drop that particular wrestler and Add a wrestler from the Free Agency list. You cannot Add a wrestler without Dropping a wrestler unless you have made a Trade that has left you with less than 16 wrestlers.
*** LIMIT *** You may only ADD/DROP ONE WRESTLER PER DAY!
Since this is not Live, I can't have an Owner Dropping/Adding more than ONE wrestler at a time a taking all the good talent from Free Agency at once just because they were first. The ONLY exception to this is in the event that a Trade has left an Owner with less than 16 wrestlers.

The SuperStar Jimi C rule?!  Could it be?  ;)
