Show 8 - Revitalizing Force!

The Haskins Center in El Paso Texas welcomes the latest edition of TNMWA wrestling! Show 8 is ready to go and lots of great action is lined up... Zedja is set to defend his TNMWA Board Title against the deserving #1 Contender Carlzilla in a 2/3 Falls match! Speaking of 2/3 Falls match, tonight we will be seeing the first ever 2/3 Falls Submission match as Unright & Rick Garrard take on America Mamushi & Psymin! Also, that smell in the air? It's fresh meat! No less than 3 wrestlers will be making their in-ring debut tonight so El Paso fans will get a sneak peek at the future of wrestling..  I've babbled too much, it's time to go to our first of two dark matches...

Match 1:
Rebel INS vs "The Pearl of the Orient" Keiji Muto

- Rebel gets a very close 2-count seconds into the match with a Death Valley Driver!
- Then complains about the slow count!
- Muto gets some moves in, but this match is all Rebel.
- The 1001110101 ends this 4-star(?) squash match.

Rebel INS pinned Keiji Muto with the 1001110101 in 0:05:37.
Rating: **** 1/4

Rebel INS picks up another win thanks to the crowd supporting him. The fans really love the Rebel! He's becoming the people's champ!

Match 2:
Pulsar vs Jason Morgan

- Pulsar makes his debut, but Morgan doesn't seem happy to see him.
- Morgan nails 2 Splash Mountains in a row for some close falls.
- Morgan is on fire! Getting near fall after near fall. Pulsar is showing great resilience however.
- Morgan nails a picture perfect corkscrew plancha on Pulsar outside the ring.
- Pulsar tries for an ankle lock, but Morgan powers out.
- Morgan lands the No Mercy for the win. Not the debut that Pulsar wanted...

Jason Morgan pinned Pulsar with the No Mercy in 0:10:02.
Rating: * 3/4

Pulsar debut was a little underwhelming as Jason Morgan proves why he's a tough-as-nails SOB. Next up Phudjie challenged all comers and he got himself a match against the new-comer by the name of The Drifter.

Match 3:
Phudjie vs The Drifter

- Immediately Phudjie and Drifter start brawling.
- Drifter breaks out some old-school Baba Chops!
- Phudjie responds with the Mongolian Sleeperhold!
- Phudjie nails the Flight of the Landshark on Drifter, but the ref is down!
- Phudjie could have gotten at least 2 full pinfalls, but the ref is in la-la land.
- The Drifter takes back the advantage and nails Pudjie with a keyboard that the uh.. announcer was using.
- Ref is back up! Temporary Hometown! Drifter wins his debut!

The Drifter pinned Phudjie with the Temporary Hometown in 0:10:01.
Rating: -***

Ugly match and the crowd is unimpressed. Coming up next we were supposed to see 2 new fresh talents battling, but Verizon airlines (the crappiest airline ever) somehow lost his ticket. So company man Rick Garrard volunteered to wrestle two matches.

Match 4:
Justin Sane vs Rick "Jobber to the Stars" Garrard
(Brent Sanders no-showed)

- Samoan Drop! Wrist Clutch Exploder! Ace Crusher! Quite the opening salvo from Justin Sane...
- Garrard takes advantage of the bumped ref to use some weapons to even up the match.
- Justin responds with a backdrop driver onto a chair! Garrard somehow kicked out!
- Garrard opens up a gash on Justin's forehead after a cheese grater shot.
- Sane responds by leaving the ring and returning with some brass knux and a chair.
- Rick borrows the chair and goes for a chair-assisted Air Sabu, but Justin Sane moved out of the way! The Rick hits the corner post!
- Sane capitalizes, but first humiliates Garrard.

Justin Sane pinned Rick Garrard after a series of slaps in 0:06:33.
Rating: **** 1/4

The Rick is not going to be happy after he wakes up and watches the replay (available in 3 weeks on DVD! Reserve your copy today!) and sees Justin slapping him before the pin. Unright helps the Rick regainconsciousness as his match is next!

Match 5:
Unright & Rick Garrard VS America Mamushi & Psymin in A 2/3 FALLS SUBMISSION MATCH

- An angry Unright starts off against a defiant Mamushi.
- What the--? Justin Sane has come to ringside. Is he here to disrupt Rick Garrard?
- Mamushi nails the "Move I stole from Snabbit888" on Unright! First time I've ever seen him hit that move... that he stole...from Snabbit888...
- Mamushi holds up Garrard, Psymin goes for a superkick but Garrard ducks! Psymin nailed Mamushi pretty damn hard!
- Garrard & Unright works over Psymin outside the ring. Garrard keeps an eye on Justin Sane.
- Unright plows Psymin through the announcer's table with a brain buster! Psymin is busted open!
- Back in the ring, Unright hits Psymin with the first ever Unright-plex!
- Justin Sane tosses a pair of brass knux into the ring!? Unright is the first to grab them. Mamushi gets nailed with them.
- Mamushi returns the assault with a Michinoku Driver onto a chair!
- Mamushi distracts the ref, and Psymin rams a steel pipe into the back of Unright's head. Psymin locks in a guillotine choke and the ref counts Unright's lack of struggle as a submission!
- The second fall opens with Psymin continuing his punishment on Unright.
- Mamushi in and he nails the Excedrin Headache #616 on Unright!
- Unright rallies back and hits the Strong Shove on Mamushi! Fujiwara armbar, but Mamushi makes it to the ropes.
- Garrard in against Psymin, he locks in the airplane spin and gets a submission out of nowhere!
- Psymin starts off the 3rd fall with the Psymin Says on Garrard off the top rope!
- Mamushi in, but Garrard takes charge! Yakuza Kick! Double Tough Double Up!
- Garrard throws Mamushi outside and Justin Sane pounces on him!
- Justin Sane nails Mamushi with the lead pipe!
- Sane tosses Mamushi back in and Garrard locks in the airplane spin. Psymin is doing nothing to help him! Mamushi submits!

2/3 Falls Submission Match
Rick Garrard and Unright beat America Mamushi and Psymin 2 falls to 1:
x Psymin beat Unright via a guillotine choke in 0:16:17
x The Rick beat Psymin via an airplane spin in 0:28:55
x The Rick beat A. Mamushi via an airplane spin in 0:39:29
Rating: ** 3/4
[Justin Sane interfered against America Mamushi.]

Unright and The Rick leave the ring celebrating. Psymin picks up America Mamushi and sets in on the top turnbuckle. The Psymin Psays on America Mamushi! Justin Sane sets up a chair... The DTD onto the chair! Psymin hits the Pset-Up onto the chair! America Mamushi isn't moving and Psymin and Justin Sane couldn't be happier.

Match 6:
"Kaiju C" Carlzilla VS "The White Tiger" Zedja (c) in a 2/3 FALLS MATCH FOR THE TNMWA BOARD TITLE

- Zedja starts up the match by taking it to the outside.
- After a bit of brawling, Zedja nails the Prowl of the Feline onto the concrete! Carlzilla is out cold!
- Zedja gets an early coutout fall! This spells trouble for Carlzilla.
- The ref check over Carzilla and he says he's okay to continue.
- The second fall starts with an aggressive Zedja smelling victory.
- Zedja nails an Asai moonsault with a chair, but only gets a 2 count.
- Carlzilla is reeling.
- Zedja hits a second Prowl of the Feline, this time inside the ring and wins the match in 2 straight falls.

Two-out-of-three-Falls Match
Zedja beat Carlzilla 2 falls to 0:
x Zedja beat Carlzilla via countout in 0:01:28
x Zedja beat Carlzilla via the Prowl of the Feline in 0:04:19
Rating: ** 1/2
(Zedja retained the TNMWA Board Title.)

Zedja retains the Board Title in 2 straight falls in under 5 minutes. Doctors will be checking over Carlzilla to make sure he didn't suffer a concussion after that first Prowl of the Feline. That's all for tonight folks, tune in next week for more TNMWA action!

OOC - Well, I'm definitely not paying you by the minute, Zedja.  ;)  Another great card on the books. BTW, I've learned something about TNM, if you set a 2/3 Falls tag match with Submission Rules, it will ignore the 2/3 falls setting and default to 1 fall. Just a word of warning to everyone thinking about booking such a match.
ZedjaPosted on 10/15/05 at 11:41:17

OOC: Holy crap!! I won. And in two straight falls. If you call me surprised that's really an understatement. The question now is... who is the #1 contender?? As for the time. I guess I made up for that when I beat Unright for the title ;)

IC: Carlzilla, I told you that you shouldn't take out your victory in advance.

I know you all complained about me booking matches, but I'm going to do it again..

This time a Battle Royal for everyone in the roster who wants to be in it (apart for the ones that made their debut this card). But with some adjustments.
  • The one who eliminates me, will face the winner of it in a match in card 10 and then face me later on in the card.
  • If the winner is the one who eliminated me, he will face me in card 10.
  • If I'm the winner, the one who got eliminated last will face me in card 10.
The match for the title on card 10 will be a TLC match.

Furthermore, the one who eliminates me will also choose an opponent for me earlier in card 10 for a non-title match. Unless he is the same as the winner (or the last eliminated if I win)

Also, since Carlzilla extended a challenge to America Mamushi, I'm going to do the same, but in a non-title match. If he wins he will be entered into the match for who's going to challenge me for the title in card 10. That is, if he accepts. I do this also to pay back for him letting me challenging his place in the first tournament for the title.

To end this, if you want to be in the Battle Royal, you have to say so. The ones who remains silent (OOC: not posting) will not be allowed to be in it.

Matches card 9
Battle Royal
Zedja vs America Mamushi (non-title) if he accepts.

OOC: Trying to spice up the cards a bit ;)
Rick GarrardPosted on 10/15/05 at 15:07:21

Justin Sane, bring yourself TWO partners for the next card, because on behalf of my partner Unright, and the man you screwed over on the last card, Americamamushi, I am issuing a challenge for a 6-man tag team match.

And as for this battle royal... Count me in, Chester.
americamamushiPosted on 10/15/05 at 21:54:24

Zedja, you're honor is great.  I accept your gracious challenge.  OOC: When did Carlzilla challenge me?  I think I missed something... ;)

And Rick we may be on different sides of the fence but I accept your invitation.  Justin Sane, I hope one of your partners is Psymin, because he'd hate it if I had to go out of my way to lay some whoop as down on him strong style.
UnrightPosted on 10/15/05 at 23:54:53

Rick.. You're a best badass partner in the world, and I hate to let you down on this, but I ain't gonna team with that fried sushi-wannabe America Mamushi.

Instead, I'm going to focus on the monster that I'm not done with. Carlzilla, after that pathetic performance against Zedja I feel embarrassed to have lost to you. Me & You, Tazer on a Pole Match. Are you in or chicken?

Oh, Me & The Drifter want into the Battle Royal and Drifter wants a piece of Rebel INS. FCA Match.

Challenges Made (waiting for acceptance):

Unright vs Carzilla (Tazer on a Pole Match)
The Drifter vs Rebel INS (FCA Match)

Rick Garrard & America Mamushi vs Justin Sane & Psymin(?) (Since I backed out, this is the most likely scenario....)

OOC: When did Carlzilla challenge me?  I think I missed something... Wink
OOC - Carzilla was granting you a title match for after he beat Zedja. Since he lost, your upcoming title match was null and void.
Rick GarrardPosted on 10/16/05 at 04:25:41

Rick.. You're a best badass partner in the world, and I hate to let you down on this, but I ain't gonna team with that fried sushi-wannabe America Mamushi.
I can respect your decision since you and he have a very grand history.  But this nimrod they call Justin Sane irks me to no avail and after what he and Psymin did to both me and Mamushi, I had to offer the olive branch for the match.  So as you did so rightfully suggest good ol' tag team partner of mine, I will in fact, take this to a tag team match of me and Mamushi vs Justnot Sane and Psymple Psymin.

Instead, I'm going to focus on the monster that I'm not done with. Carlzilla, after that pathetic performance against Zedja I feel embarrassed to have lost to you. Me & You, Tazer on a Pole Match. Are you in or chicken?
I think Zedja could become fried chicken.  ;)

Rick Garrard & America Mamushi vs Justin Sane & Psymin(?) (Since I backed out, this is the most likely scenario....)
I'm good with this thought.

And for all you wannabe's out there, I am issuing an OPEN challenge for a singles match, where you must win using your finisher....

because I am just that double tough....

[dramatic pause]

And your not!

ZedjaPosted on 10/16/05 at 08:02:37

OOC: So far only Rick has entered the Battle Royal. Nobody else has joined. A battle Royal with only two participants is not good.

However as it is now this is official.

Zedja vs America Mamushi (non-title)
phudjiePosted on 10/16/05 at 09:00:05

a battle royal - I love battle royals, I want in...and also, this open challenge for a finisher's match, I want in that, seeing as I haven't actually ended a match with my finisher, this should be fun.....
CarlzillaPosted on 10/16/05 at 09:57:22

Tazer on a pole huh? I think you're just adding all kinds of weapons to the mix because you know you can't beat me otherwise. I accept, although I'm laughing at your weak stipulation on the inside...
Psymin1Posted on 10/16/05 at 20:52:56

(Psymin and Justin Sane are seen on camera, talking)

Psymin:  "Ha Ha!  We did it bro!  We had everyone fooled; they had absolutely NO idea!"

Justin Sane: "I know, man, these people here are a bunch of jokes.  Rick Gay-ard?  Come on, who the hell is this idiot?  He comes in accepting challenges I didn't even throw his way!  What a damned fool."

P: "Yeah, he is a bitch.  I beat his ass a few times too.  I liked the adding of the bitch slapping at the end, that's exactly what he deseved."

JS: "I figured it would suffice. And the way you fooled America-hates-sushi?  That was sheer brilliance!  Those stupid fans had no idea that there hero, Psymin, had it in him to team up with a guy like me."

P: "Yeah, I know.  Aint I great?  No, aint WE great?!?"

(The two laugh as they start to walk away.  Psymin stops, and turns back to the camera.)

P: "Oh yeah, I almost forgot, The DSK...Detroit Serial Killaz accept your tag team challenge.  And I'm in on that Battle Royal, also."

(Psymin turns and walks away with Sane, who waited for him.)

----------------------------------------

Challenges Accepted:

Detroit Serial Killaz vs. Rick Garrard and America Mamushi
Tag Team Match

Psymin is in the Battle Royal

PulsarPosted on 10/18/05 at 07:53:47

OK, so I didn't debut the way I wanted to. There was something in my eye, I had a cold, my band played the wrong intro. This is crap. I'm not going 0-2...never, NEVER. Let's see, who's here man enough to take me on? Carlzilla, shall we revive that good ol' rivalry? I guess I'm too far at the bottom of the pack right now, huh? You know what? F-- the pack...F--- the rankings and F--- the rules. Carlzilla, me and you, Philly Street Fight.

Challenges:
Philly Street Fight
Pulsar vs. Carlzilla
CarlzillaPosted on 10/18/05 at 08:37:26

What is with you people and your stipulations...if I didn't know better I would think I was wrestling for attitude era WWE. Although if that was to ever happen, I'd have to retire out of shame.

Pulsar, I don't like philly cheese steaks, well I don't like steak in general really. I guess I don't really like philly either, except for Mr. Roboto Project, and that band R.A.M.B.O. and I sure don't care for for  philly cheese steak fights...but if that's what you want, them I'm game...and if you can convince Unright to join us with his tazer on a pole, I can kill two untalented slobs with one stone.
ZedjaPosted on 10/20/05 at 07:56:20

OOC: Battle Royal:
Zedja
Rick Garrard
Phudjie
Psymin

(Carlzilla? Unright? Neither of you have accepted)

Sorry I've been sick for 2 days without computer..
CarlzillaPosted on 10/20/05 at 08:51:11

I just got a shot at the title and failed miserably...so I'll bow out this time...but next time I come at the champion they can expect to loose.

Besides, I have to fight in a phillidelphia cream cheese steak  heated to perfection with a tazer on a pole match against the two biggest wimps in the fed. Seriously, what kinda wrestling is this? Tazer steaks on philly's pole match...jesus.
MGDukesterPosted on 10/20/05 at 18:35:12

*ooc* Still awaiting word on weather or not my Export files made it to Unright, if they did Brent Sanders will gladly enter teh Battle Royal.
UnrightPosted on 10/20/05 at 21:46:43

OOC - Sorry Duke, Brent is added to the roster list, so you are set to go! go! go! Let me know if you still want the match against Justin Sane. As an apology you can request whatever match with whatever stips and nobody can say no.

Unright and Drifter signed up for the BR about 3 replies down from when you announced it, Zed.

IC -  Carl, you want to combine 2 challenges? A triangle Philly Street Fight with Tazers on Poles? Interesting...  I gots nothing against Pulsar, but if he stays out of my way until you're out then we won't have a problem.

Triangle Philly Street Fight with Tazers on Poles (Elimination Rules)
Carlzilla vs Pulsar vs Unright
ZedjaPosted on 10/21/05 at 08:48:36

OOC: Unright is allowed in, but not those who made their debut this card. So the Drifter and Brent Sanders has to bow out. Especially Brent since he no-showed :P

IC: As it stands now, the battle royal contains Zedja, Rick Garrard, Unright, Phudjie and Psymin. America Mamushi, you are allowed to compete in the battle royal as well, so you have two chances for a title match. But that's only if you want to. And I forgot to say that this is an over the top rope elimination match. No falls or submissions.

OOC: I hope the card is run this weekend since I will go to Japan next friday and I wish to set everything up for card 10 before that.
americamamushiPosted on 10/21/05 at 08:56:40

OOC: I'll be in the battle royal if it's after my other shot

I hope the card is run this weekend since I will go to Japan next friday
I hate you :)
ZedjaPosted on 10/21/05 at 13:02:24

Well the Battle Royal should be the Main Event.

OOC: I hate me too ;) I've talked about going for over 10 years. And my family gave me the trip for my 30th birthday. I've been preparing for it for 5 months.
MGDukesterPosted on 10/21/05 at 15:55:01

<laughs as the camera pans in>  Zedja, it is ok.  We know how those in power fear the unknown when coveting their gold......  and I am about as dangeroulsy unknown as it gets.

Justin Sane, I have not forgotten you either.  You seem to have your hands full this week in your tag team match,  It would seem that Verizon Airlines offered you a stay of execution.  You and I will still meet, be prepared.

I will again place my open challenge to anyone this week not already busy, as I would not wish you any manner of excuses upon your defeat.

<laughs as the camera fades>
ZedjaPosted on 10/21/05 at 16:44:18

I'll get to you soon enough, but you have yet to prove yourself worthy. And no-showing your very first match... Let's just say, I'm not at all impressed.
