Hot damn... That was a long ass title match. Both Zedja and Unright managed to survive each other's finishers and knock each other off the ladder several times. In the end, Zedja just had that extra fighting spirit that gave him the victory.

OOC - Note, 2 matches were left off:

Rick Garrard vs America Mamushi (Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal)
Psymin vs Rick Garrard vs Carlzilla (Steel Cage Triangle Elimination Match)

These match will be run on the next weekly show (Fridays). I just didn't want you guys killing each other. After this card, I am going to up the recovery rate until we get more members...
americamamushiPosted on 10/01/05 at 05:39:54

Tonight I showed Psymin that old school can still get it done.  Not only that, but I beat you at your own game.  Phudjie and I didn't fair too well, but I literally was just coming off my match with Psymin and while I won, I admit that my body took a battering.  I definitely wasn't in any shape to wrestle Rick in the Finishers Only match, which is obvious as a much-fresher-than-I Rick Garrard beat me in 38 seconds after managing to hit his finisher early on.  I look forward to facing Rick again though.  I think next week will provide a much more interesting match, and who knows, it could be anything.
CarlzillaPosted on 10/01/05 at 12:00:30

[OOC:]I'd like to thank Unright for taking this over...the first show was good, here's to many more.

PSYMIN! I CAN YELL AT YOU AND YOU CAN'T EVEN RAISE YOUR VOICE TO RESPOND! HAHA!

Ok now that that's out of my system...I'd like to turn to Zedja, the new TNMWA champion. Congradulations Zedja, I hope you realize that you are nothing but a belt holder, as soon the title will belong to Kaiju C, Carlzilla. I'm officially challenging you to a match...no gimmicks, just one on one in the ring...
Psymin1Posted on 10/02/05 at 05:28:53

[Psymin is seen on camera in a suit and tie.  He is sitting, waiting, and doesnt relize the camera is on.  He asks for a water.  No one responds, so he gets up, starts to scream at some lady who comes on the screen, then turns and notices the red light on.]

P: (clearing his throat, and smiling now at the camera) "I mean...Nevermind, I see you are busy, please, don't worry about little old me."

[The lady, looking confused, turns and walks away.  Psymin sits down.  All the time, he is smiling.]

P: "Well, it appears that I not only lost once, but I lost twice.  But, it goes without saying that this isn't my fault.  Nope, this is the fault of the booking committee.  Why?  Because they booked me in the less important match first, which made me very tired, and then expected me to beat Mr. Carlzilla.  But, I am not upset.  Oh no.  Nope, I just hope that they think better next time.  But, onto next week.  Now that Mr. Carlzilla doesn't have to fight in the Triple Threat Steel Cage Tables match next week, I would like to, politley of course, ask him to still be a part of this match.  I think it would be more interesting fighting two men, as opposed to only one.  Well, I suppose that will do for now.  I appreciate everyone's time listening to my humble words.  Thank you, and good night."

[Psymin still has a goofy ass smile on his face as the camera shuts off.]
CarlzillaPosted on 10/02/05 at 10:29:42

I'll fight you in the steel cage tables match...IF and only on this condition, that Zedja agree to face me for the TNMWA Board Title on the 8th show. I'm not going to get in over my head and miss my chance at showing our infantile fans and our incompetent wrestlers that I am really the glue that holds this place together by fighting another match on the same card as my title shot...so I'll accept your challenge if Zedja doesn't back down.
ZedjaPosted on 10/03/05 at 08:38:24

I wasn't supposed to fight Jason Morgan at all this week, but the management forced me into it. I clearly dominated the match and then Mr Morgan got a lucky shot and managed to pick up the win.

Despite this I was able to win the match against Unright. This means he has yet to beat me without the help of Rick Garrard. I'm sure he wants a rematch, but that's not going to happen. Unless...

Wait, I'm getting to it...

Carlzilla, you want a shot against me for the title. You did beat me previously by making sure the referee was incapable of counting until you wanted him to count your win. On the other hand you do have the best record in TNAWA.

Tell you what, as the new champion, I have the choice of opponents. However, I have a bit of puzzle on my hands. So this is what I'm going to do. I'm going to make a match.

Carlzilla vs Unright in a 60 minute IRON MATCH!!

The winner will face me on card 8 in a Best of 3 falls match for the title.

But to even the odds and I believe Unright will like this, I'm going to challenge Rick Garrard to a non-title match. I'm even going to let Rick choose the match.

Here are the choices.

1. TLC-match
2. Steel Cage Match
3. No finishers match.

And just to make sure this match is lasting longer than 8 seconds, either pick will be a No-Disqualification-Match!!!

Well, Z-Man... I accept your challenge.  However, due to already having contractual obligations on card #7, I will have to accept for card #8.  And as much as I want to choose the no finishers match, I really really think that a steel cage match is more for my liking since it is going to be no disqualification.

americamamushiPosted on 10/04/05 at 05:23:18

Since I've only got one match so far I'd like to interject myself in the 60 minute Iron Man match with Carlzilla and Unright... as the special guest referee.  Just o try an insure that any reasons for DQ *looks Unright's way* will be thusly counted against said wrestler.
UnrightPosted on 10/04/05 at 07:39:37

Well, well, well.. Zedja gets himself a new belt buckle and figures he can start bossing people around and booking matches. You think facing the Big Battel reject scares me? He's the Virgil of TNMWA! I'll take that match against Carlzilla, he needs to be reminded of his place after all.

Oh, and America Mamushi wants to be the ref?  This gets better and better. I mean, I admit I see his logic. Sometimes when I'm facing someone like Carlzilla of Mamushi, I just feel the need to grab the nearest foreign object and smash it over their freakin' heads! But since we're confined to a steel cage, I won't have access to any. So Mamushi, you better call it down the line, or else I'll rip your stinkin' arms off!

OOC - Everyone with a match should check in on Thursday, as I'll be posting a preview card to make sure I've got everything scheduled right.

I'm also toying with the idea to allow two wrestlers to person to bolster our thin roster. Anyone for/against this?
americamamushiPosted on 10/04/05 at 07:52:10

OOC: I'd be willing to do a second wrestler

Hold on there. This was not for card 8! This was for card 7. If you feel you aren't up for it, then assign somebody else to face me on card 7. I will onlyhave the title match for card 8.

Card 7: Zedja vs. Someone in a non-title No DQ Cage Match
Card 8: Zedja vs. the winner of Carlzilla vs Unright from card 7 in a best out of 3 falls.

As for you Unright. The match against Carlzilla isn't a cage match but a 60 minute Iron match!

OOC: I'm booking the match to avoid title changes each card. In real federations the title isn't on the line every card :) Now I only have to have an opponent for card 7. If I don't get an opponent, you can always book a match with me against Bret Hart or something. A one shot deal like Carlzilla did for Mamushi.
Psymin1Posted on 10/04/05 at 15:58:20

OOC: I'd also be willing to make a second wrestler.  I think that would be a great idea, in fact.

CarlzillaPosted on 10/05/05 at 01:58:37

I'd be willing to do a second wrestler as well.

I also think, coming from my experience with trying to book this thing, that we need to all agree on some booking rules as well...things that will keep one guy from having 10 matches on the same card while someone else sits out the event entirely. Just a thought...
Rick GarrardPosted on 10/05/05 at 03:10:59

Zedja... you challenge me... after our commissioner already lists that I am in the maximum two matches on card 7... and then YOU back out of your challenge, by saying you only wanted to face me on card 7 and not on 8?  I'll tell you what... IF... Mr. Bookerman is willing.... I will wave the two match per card limit... and will work a THIRD match just to whoop up on you Zedja.
UnrightPosted on 10/07/05 at 06:36:33

"The Commish" Unright comes out with a clipboard...

Ok.. I've sorted through all your requests and I think I've got an impressive card lined up. You'll have about 24 hours to request corrections.

First up:

Carzilla vs Unright (#1 Contender 60 Min Iron Man Match with Special Referee America Mamushi)

I had mistakenly thought this would be a cage match, but unfortunately it's not. Now normally TNMWA matches don't have DQ, but Mamushi is the ref and his word is law. No weapon shots, no interferance, no low blows, 5-counts for chokes and after the ropes are reached for submission holds, no closed fists, no biting, no fun basically. I did manage to convince him that top-rope moves are legal, though.

Next up we got a match that was post-poned from last week:

Rick Garrard vs America Mamushi (Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal)

I've put some interesting matches on the wheel, so this should be interesting. Keep in mind, this isn't just the TNM Gimmick match option at work. I'll be using a random number generator to pick a match out of 100 possible matches. So this could be anything from a 2/3 Falls Submission match to a Brawl-For-All to "Texas Death" Coffin match.

Next, I made a managerial decision. The Rick was booked himself for too many matches for his own good. So I've booked the following match:

Psymin vs Carlzilla (No-Escapes Steel Cage Match)

Since Psymin was so polite and Carzilla agreed to fight the cage match anyways, I'll pulled The Rick out of this match and now Psymin and Carzilla get to go one-on-one again. This time with the extra brutality as they take on each other in a STEEL CAGE with the winner to be decided by pinfall or submission only.

Finally, the cage will be left in place for our main event:

Zedja vs Rick Garrard (Non-Title Cage Match)

"The White Tiger" takes on the Rick and this time it's only for bragging rights as the title will not be on the line. These two have only met once before in a one-on-one fight and Zedja had won by DQ. With no-disqualifications possible, both men will do anything to reduce their opponent to a crumpled heap on the mat.

Now all that promises to be a great card, but I'm sure the crowds will be disapointed to only have 4 matches to look forward to.  So, unless anyone has a problem with it, I'm going to throw in a bonus dark match:

Jason Morgan vs Rebel INS vs Phudjie vs KEIJI MUTO! (Four-Man Battle Royal)

Show 7 will be booked and simmed Friday Night and posted sometime shortly following Smackdown! So if there are any changes, make them known quickly.

Psymin vs Carlzilla (No-Escapes Steel Cage Match)

This time with the extra brutality as they take on each other in a STEEL CAGE with the winner to be decided by pinfall or submission only.
Actually, Sir Unright, this is as follows:

"The King of the Tables Matches" Psymin vs. Who-Zilla?....I mean Mr. Carlzilla...sorry...
No Escape Steel Cage Tables Match

The original intent was because I, supposedly, rolled off of a table and that's why I won the match. That isn't how I remember it, but, there is no point in arguing now. So, there you have it, Sir. That is how it should be set-up. Thank you, kind Unright.
